HagaRen comes from "Hagane no Renkinjutsushi", meaning "Alchemist of Steel", the japanese original name of the series. To say "HagaRen" in Japan is like to say "FMA" in USA.

Thank you for the news on the movie...it makes me want to see it so bad now even though I'm only half-way through the subbed episodes of the series. Hopefully someone will snag the movie and subb it for us English speakers! The waiting will defiantly make me go crazy for sure...or maybe not considering I waited 3 years for the last part of Sailor Moon R(second season) to get dubbed only for it to be released on DVD 4-5 years later. But yeah I'm sure the movie's going to be great! I can't wait!!

There will most likely be a fansubbing of the movie, unless FUNinmation goes are "ZOMG" on us and bans all fansubbing whatsoever when it releases in japan.

Fansubbing complete by mid summer, banned from internet, 20hours after being put up, using the same program, but one that bans anything linking and related.

It's actually too bad fansubbing is illegal, but is good also. People, like us, would love an early subbing, but people may get some of the words wrong and mess up the whole movie or comic.

Thanx for the translation and great news that the movie is a continuation. Ive watched a lot of anime and FMA probably ranks tops in story lines, characters and character development. The 51 episodes could stand alone but I'm eager for more on this story and characters.

why does ed need to clap his hands together before transmuting WITH the circles on the last ep.

long one here...saved best for last... if ed only needed to sacrifice his arm in order to bind al's soul to armor...why did it take about the entire stone....especially if it supposed to be worth more...and it can't be the part that he fixed the body of ed as well because making nina's body only took a little...so the way i look at it...after fixing the body and binding the soul...some of al should have been left over...also according to their principles....just as long as you don't cross over the gate, your soul may be retrieved....why doesn't ed rub out the blood array on al and quickly bind him to a non-philosopher stone item?
