i think the coolest battle was RoyVSEd
i really donno why but it was funny, smart coments back to each other and a whole lota destruction!

My favorite fight scene was probably Ed Vs. Greed, Scar Vs. Kimbley or Ed Vs. the Zeppelin XP

Roy Vs. Pride was kinda cool too. I loved the part when Bradley walks out of the fire and his skin melted off and all you see are his muscles and teeth.

My favorite battle scenes are Pride vs Roy, Ed/Al vs. Mason, Ed vs. Al (armored), Ed vs. Envy (in ep. 51 and in the I Will song), Wrath vs. Lust and Ed vs. Greed.

My favorite is Ed VS Mustang (I like it in the manga more cos Ed lost and got burnt to crisp haha). It was hilarious.
Pride VS Mustang was really exciting too... If it weren't the *beep* Frank Archer, this battle would be my favorite...

Mine would have to be when Ed fights Greed in episode 34. Not only is it beautifully animated with fluid animation, but it has such deep emotion along with it because of Ed's guilt.

Yeah the Pride VS. Mustange and Ed VS. Greed! Those were hype fights!!!

I think the battle scenes in the theme between episodes 42-51 with Ed, Al, and Lust were fighting, and Ed and al and Wrath were fighting...but are they considered fight scenes? none the less the animation is awesome.

Those were good fights, I also liked the 2 short fights like Al VS Wrath and Greed VS Envy.

I love the way some of the characters move during fights, so fluent and beautiful. Both style AND substance.
Ed moves like a little monkey, allthough I think he's better at dodges then attacks, when he transmutes his arm though people are in trouble.
Armstrong really doesn't have to move or dodge much because of his strentgh and I think the anime made that very visible during Armstrong fights scenes. The same thing goes for Al only his reflexes are a bit better and he's a bit faster.
Roy really all we see is him snapping his fingers. But in the battle with Bradly i was very surprised, it gave me a new respect for him.
Scar is a great fighter, he looks heavy but he's very light on his feet. (like when riza was shooting at him and he did all those flips then jumped onto the bulding)
My fav fighter of all time though would have to be Envy
Envy is so quick with all those flips and turns and gymnastics and everything, all his motions are perfectly fluent and pack a punch as well.

Although FMA isnt really known for it's long battle scenes, the best one by far was Pride vs Roy. It really got my blood pumping

The last GreedVsEd was a great battle and the end was so traumatizing (for me!) I can't get enough of this fight! Radical Alchemist is right: Ed moves like a little monkey!

I also love the last EnvyVsEd confrontation!

The Ed vs. Greed fight was the absolute best of Ed's fights . I also liked the Al vs. Barry the chopper fight alot , and the Ed, Al and Major Armstrong fight that was cool !

1. Armstrong vs. Scar: Yes, we didn't see much of the fight, but Armstrong's intro alone makes it worthwhile. Two truly powerful individuals, who are virtually unbeatable -looks on people's faces who watch the fight are priceless. They probably would have levelled the entire city, given the chance.

2. Roy vs. Pride. Charged with athmosphere and tension, since the viewer knows Roy cannot beat Pride without bodyparts from Pride's original body.

3. Ed vs. Armor Al. For a martial artist like me the difference in brother's fighting styles makes this a really interesting battle. Loosely described, Ed uses a mixture of Monkey Kung-Fu and karate, while Al fights using very traditional defensive karate form.

The makers of the series really cared about their product.

-Slicer vs. Ed--That fight was awesome!! I wish it lasted longer...but, oh well

-Greed vs. Ed--Both fights! The first one was awesome...then the final one to the death...WOW, the fighting was great, and Ed's final blow was amazing.

-Roy vs. Ed--Yea....gotta love it

-Roy vs. Pride-- That fight was great too, though I think it could have been a lot longer and a lot more intense. Still great though

-Ed and Al vs. Wrath--On the island...great fight!!!

-Ed vs. Envy--At the end, it was a great fight too...ended on a very sad note though T_T

-Ed vs. Sloth--AWESOME fight!!!!

-Ed vs. Wrath--Good too..even though they're usualy short fights....

the one at the 5th laboratory between slicer ppl and ed... it was sooo scary when ed was getting so hurt.

battle-ish thing between ed and sloth and he finished off sloth. the battley part wasn't that as whooshy, but it was pretty dramatic just cuz sloth is sloth.

and mustang vs pride. that was a really good, tense-ish battle. poor mustang. *tear* pretty sad when selim came with the skull that would help mustang defeat pride, but then he died. waaaahh.

Anything with ed and envy was awsome because they are both so agile.Then greed and ed though i liked the manga battle more D; also in the manga they had al,and i think ed, fight against greeds gang before they got ot the devils nest. That was an awsome fight, sad it was taken out. Cant forget the ed and roy brawl in episode 13 xD OH! also cant foget the kimbly scar battle @_@ awsome all the way xD <33 Then the last one was anytime ed and al teamed up against someone, armstrong, wrath think that was it =O but there team battles are also awsome ^^

Definitely Greed vs Ed. I think the most hilarious fight was Armstrong vs Sig. I know, I know, it wasn't really a fight, but their muscle contest was so hilarious! The facial expressions they made made me bust a gut laughing

There are so many fights! It makes it hard to choose, though I think I will have to go with the Ed vs. Greed fight.
