I'm currently a full-time college student. I used to work at a Gamestop at a mall for the Holidays. There are two days that were an absolute nightmare to everyone who worked there: The day after Thanksgiving and the day when new Yu-Gi-Oh starter decks shipped in.
HA! I can imagine. I've heard GS has a pretty strict employment conduct policy.
Well, it tests your patience. I had kids asking me every half-hour if the starter decks were in yet. It drove me nuts. The job itself was a snap, all I had to do was greet people as they came in, answer the phone when it rang, work the register when people are ready to buy stuff (because you have to get the actual game behind a glass case or a drawer), make sure the customer is 18 if buying a M rated game, vaccum the place in the morning and my favorite activity, organize all of the games in alphabetical order.
It was fun to work there, and I got to borrow games for 4 days at a time. But unfortunatly, I am not the best worker there, plus I only came in on Saturdays because that was the only day I could work there. So, they easily found a replacement for me.
But that was a few years ago, I moved on and I am going for my Bachlor's Degree in Accounting.
(And I think EBGames has the stricter policy, Gamestop didn't ask for a drug test in it's application.)
