Anyone know Angel Beats!? No..? Well I find Yuzuru Otonashi of Angel Beats! to also be added to my list as my 3rd option. Not because he's hot or anything like that but... here spoiler tag time.
He is just too caring to pass up. When his younger sister was hopsitalized, he bought her anything she wanted from any store she liked. He snuck her out of the hopsital to see the lights in the city on Christmas nights. He quite everything--I mean everything--just to be with Hatsune (younger sister) everday after school, every holiday. Every moment of his life.
Then one day he came to pay her a visit, and found she had been dead. Whatever disease she had, killed her. His life was almost meaningless now but he found his reasons to keep living. And kept smiling... but still there was one part of him that was slowly decaying.
Then one day he was in a subway, either going home or to school or... well the anime does not specify (I don't think there is a manga). Not that it's so important. But the dang subway broke down and crashed on the tracks, against the side I believe. There was no way out if you survived. In fact most of the people died but there were very few surivivors (Otonashi-sama being one of them). Otonashi-sama decided to help them out and sort out everything so they would -at least- last the next 3 days in hopes that help was on the way. But the day he started to help them he noticed he had intnernal bleeding. So he gave up food and water (people carry lunchies and drinks with them on the subway, so yes. Food and water) and made it so the people lasted the week. On the last day of that week, he died only a few minutes before help came. He saved everyone, but it was too late for him.
Maybe we all are "insignificant human beings", but if Yuzuru Otonashi was a real person, trust me he wouldn't be of the insignificant. Not at all.

Well, I consider a few anime characters hot, but I'm more attracted to females and female-looking guys than hot men.

When Hunter X Hunter was first aired here in my country (that was around 2001-2002, I was 11 y/o) I had my eyes on Kurapika. It was kinda twisted though, because back then I thought he was female and I liked him being female. But later on my best friend and I decided to use the internet to find out his gender and when I found out that he was male, it was ridiculously heartbreaking. I mean hey, which part of this face is male? And that's not just in a single shot, he looks feminine in the entire anime. T_T So yeah I will just keep on ignoring the fact even if it makes me question my gender.

I don't. I just can't feel attracted. I might think "Oh he's cute~" or "Oh he's pretty~" but I don't develop crushes nor do I fantasize about them, or "drool" or anything... I just sort of say it very off handedly and then that's the end of it.

Same with any animated or drawn character. It's more the voice that I'll feel attracted to, but that's a real person doing the voice, so that's not the same thing.
