Well,lets see.I pretty much love sing karaoke I sing in chorus at school,my room,my shower... My parents love karaoke (not to mention drinking) They'll throw parties at my house every weekend,and if they're not singing,they're gambling

I like to sing karaoke. I wish I got one myself so I could sing as much as I want.
Also, almost all my friends got a ps2 game named singstar. When we're doing that, I always think; "DARN IT! If they only had japanese anime songs, that would be AWESOME!!" Indeed. I want to have Ayumi Hamasaki's Moments in singstar!! xD At least I could practice to see if I could sing that high tone.

i also became 1st in our music competition when i was in 3rd grade...

I finally have another recording, much to my surprise. Cousin dragged me to karaoke with her friends, and I decided that it was as good a time as any to record something LIVE. You can choose to ignore the people talking and whispering in the background if you wish. I sang a little off-key in this one part of "Hero" because the "fragrance" of cigarettes kind of got to me. It's fine and even better if you don't notice though.

Without further ado, here is my rendition of Mariah Carey's "Hero" and the tail-end of the ever-so-famous Teresa Teng song, "月亮代表我的心", otherwise known as "The Moon Represents My Heart".

Well, that's really the only one of her songs that I know. I've been told my voice resembles hers to some degree. I still wonder, because I can't really tell.

Thank you. I'm good at pronouncing it, but not really that great when it comes to speaking it. My English is still and always will be better than my Chinese.

That's actually . . . my cousin. My mother was not there. I would not ever go out to karaoke with my family, I don't think. Maybe I'd do it at home, but . . . My cousin kept bragging to her friends that I was a "professional, and [I've] sung in concerts", which is maybe half true, but only the concert part.

No, not duetting with anyone. People just like to join in when they know a part of the song. And the translated title of the Priscilla Chan song is "Foolish Girl", though some prefer "Silly Girl".

Sometimes I hate it when people just grab the microphone and sing out of tune... but this is the fun of karaoke!

Please pay no mind to the weird male voice spazzing during the verses (karaoke track is kinda glitchy) and the overly obnoxious reverb effect from the mic. << ~ >> I also screwed up a couple times, so yeah...I sang this in the school choir freshman year but have never actually heard the original, so the accuracy is probably way off. *Zen-ishy's recording is pretty crappy, too XD* Hopefully I can get something better recorded in the near future.

@Quistis-sama: Ahha, I laughed so much at the "English major, Japanese minor, also plays piano" comment in there. Very lovely singing as always~

@Ratzenheich-san: Ooh, singable translations are always interesting. For potential improvements your voice does sound kind of strained on the higher notes (I tend to die out on the chorus myself, haha XD), and I think on a couple brief occurances the rhythm went off. That and hyde's interference aside though, the recording is pretty good for a first run. (here's the karaoke for 'Link' since you wanted it)

@Rainy-san: Ah, well, the living room was right next to the kitchen without a solid wall and it was almost lunchtime... And I know, I knoow, I'll get that song done if it kills me~ XD;;
