So far it's cash/promises of cash "gift credit" of sorts, mostly.

Hanozo

Score on the adaptor cord. biggrin.gif Your daddy rocks.

So about my $230 . . . my brother supposedly also got the same amount as I did, but his was $280 for some reason. I did not want to admit this unintentional defeat and looked on the tree for more red envelops (my family members hid them there for us to find). I did find one that was missed, and instead of the remaining $50, I found $100! Take that, little brother. Anyhow, Boxing Day shopping was pretty successful (now I won't have to buy anything for a long, long while), and I only spent about $245 CAD for great-quality items.

What I Got For Boxing Day:

- Pink/navy blue striped oxford polo shirt
- Forest green polo shirt
- Brown polo shirt
- White polo shirt
- Gray tights
- Black tights
- Brown fleece gloves
- Pink pajamas
- Blue-striped dress shirt
- Dark gray-striped dress shirt
- Denim shirt dress
- Nintendo graphic T-shirt (pink with a picture of Toad; so cuuute)
- Undergarments
- 2 pairs of jeans

Quis- I snagged it for a total of 20 dollars from a seller in Hong Kong. biggrin.gif

Tonight was a bigger haul.

Big sis and bro gave me a... gosh what was it called? A fuzzy down comforter that has zippers and snaps so you can fasten it around your body and wear it. (Since I'm always wearing blankets like shawls around the house (and sometimes at school I did it as well), this comes in super handy, even if it looks dorky as frick.)

Moneys. <3

A card to boost my RAM. (I announced it happily, while my five year old niece sat beside me- "256 megabytes of RAM!" and she lit up and squealed "Oh my gosh! That's exac'ly what I want for my Christmas!" XD What a little ham.)

Some books; most of them screenplays and film making guides. (I recognized a couple of them from a book liquidation store my mom and I visit occasionally.)

A purse. (Which is kind of tacky... to be honest. It's rather... wapanese...)

Lifesavers. A godiva chocolate bar.

Slipper socks.

What IS that called? I'm rather curious about it since I've never heard of/seen anything like it. You must find out and show us some pictures.

Depending on what color the pearl is it's supposed to mean different things. It's very nifty smile.gif
12) aaaand a Sims 2 pets game for the gamecube
13) (i keep forgetting things!) some perfume
14) a Auron action figure (from Final Fantasy 10)
15) and finally some hats and such

Tombow
Another seasonal revival of an old thread from it's hiatus for a possible seasonal conversation. biggrin.gif

Economy is tough here in the U.S. right now, and I'm not being "material-greedy" this year. XD I just wish a good health to everyone in my family. ^^ (But, if I'm on Santa's "nice" list, maybe a little better/faster/more reliable Net connection would be nice. ^^) happy.gif
Aribelle
Oh goodness...in terms of material things, all I really want is gift certificates to the grocery store...or to the phone company, so maybe I don't have to pay my phone bill for a month XD

But otherwise I just want my family/friends not to get the flu or any other disease going around, for my cat to be as healthy as he can in his old age, and for all my friends in my major to pass this semester so we can all be together next semester smile.gif
kazare
I wanted a cellphone, iPod, PSP or DS.
Katya Martin
I sabotaged myself. Asked for socks cos I needed them. Got... mainly socks. Apparently being a college student means that the relatives who still give me presents will now take my requests literally and assume I have lost all interesting personality traits. tongue.gif

Other than that... well, I can't exactly get a better GPA for Christmas, and world peace mainly requires work... so yeah. Hopefully everyone's holidays have been safe and happy.
angelstar2408
I'd love to receive a new laptop and a faster internet connection. I hate receiving food as gifts 'cause they never last. Besides nothing beats cash wink.gif laugh.gif
Forgiven
What I would like to get: A billion dollars, a man who will love me, and respect me for who I am and knows how to kick some [All hail lord Xenu], and a large pepperoni pizza.

What I don't want to get: More house guest

What I got for Christmas: The first season of the X-Files, the new Flyleaf CD, an orange watch, one of those Russian/Eskimo hats, and Guitar heroes 3, legends of rock for the PlayStation 2, and I got a PS2

Tombow
What I wanted for this Christmas but didn't get (material-wise ^^) : A better Web connection (but it's on a way ^^)
The most un-original yet the most versatile/practical/useful gift I got: A giftcard for Target store (for non-U.S. members, it's like a general merchandising/department store, like Walmart but a tad more upscale. ^^) Awesome gift, and I'm already spending it away!! biggrin.gif

On the other hand, the socks are warm. biggrin.gif
