I just told you, a TV show. It's on MTV. It's about parents who dislike their offspring's choice of mate, and pick out 2 new ones for them to try, and in the end they choose either one of the two chosen or their old one.

"What is it?" is an awfully vague question. Rather, he could have said "What is is about?" in the first place. If someone said to you "What is it?" wouldn't your first response be to tell them what it is? For example, I say "Siamese Breed (Cat)", and you say "What is it?" That makes you sound an awful lot like an idiot, does it not? Rather, the correct response would be something more like "What is that breed like?"

Yes, of course all that makes perfect sense. If you understand and speak the english language. Perhaps you could take into consideration that maybe not everyone on this forum is born and raised speaking english. Even though this site is based in the U.S., there are a lot of people from around the world hanging out here. I for one only speak english in in english class at school. That's it.

Being prejudgmental about people being idiots is easy, considering how many idiots there in fact are. But lacking language-skills is not the same as being an idiot. I wouldn't call you an idiot if you tried to speak my language, and didn't quite manage to make full sense, or sound like you had spoken it since birth. The same'd go if you'd be suffering from dyslexia or something like that. I wouldn't point at you and say "gee, what a dumbass". Simple manners. You don't always know the reason behind people not always expressing themselves clearly.

In this case; I have no idea where Lunneth elric is from, maybe he masters the english language just fine, just didn't think his answer through 100 % before posting, or perhaps he thought you'd understand what he meant and wouldn't get hanged up about what words he used. I can agree about him being a bit unclear, but I also see why he felt like you were a bit aggressive towards him. Which is fine, everybody has bad days. I just think that you should put into consideration that not everyone who doesn't master the language to an extent that satisfyes you, are idiots. Simple as that.

(That being said I do think that people who speak the "internet-lulz-icanspellbuttoolazy"-language should be banned and have their computers burned. Annoying as hell when poeple disregard normal writing rules just because"it's the internet, who cares?" )
