I don't think a manga picture of a disgusted Roy Mustang is all that much proof - it was SEWER WATER, after all, and his gloves were wet.

Of course Roy can swim? what kind of alchemist would he be if he couldn't? btw, i think he can use more types of alchemy, he just prefers fire. And Roy and Ed are pretty much equal...so.. yeah, roy probably can use pretty good alternative alchemy. And about the driving...he can drive..just not very good XD

Yeah, the rain really doesn't have much to do with swimming. I don't think Roy swims in puddles so it doesn't really matter. I think he probably can swim because he's in the army and if her had to fight in a war and during battle somehow had to swim, he wouldn't do so hot if he couldn't swim.

i wanna point out that the only reason he is useless is because he cant make a spark. and he holds his own very well even when his gloves are wet... as shown in the manga so yes... i'm very sure he can swim.. since that has nothing to do with his alchemy.
