"The biggest little state in the union" - Kinda funny - I can't get it out of my head.

RI's a decent enough place. It's or at least used to be the second most densly populated state in the country. Everything is nearby regardless of what city you live in. You're not far from Boston nor NY and Providence has picked up in its culture. The former mayor of Providence is currently serving jail time and a former governer is also serving jail time

My ex was from Providence... she couldn't wait to leave.

Most people who grow up in RI hate it. I don't mind it. It's got Newport for historical sites and providence has some culture. Really the best part is that it's cheaper to live in RI than in Massachusetts and you're not that far from the same cultural center - Boston.

And yeah.. I too have had to live with being the shortest person in my class. I really liked it when I was younger... but later... iIwas the "undeveloped" one. I also ended up shorter than estimated. I was supposed to be 167...(sorry that I talk with centimetres, but I don't know about feet and inches) all my training must have made me shorter ...my Dad and brother tower over 180cm... scary..
Yeah... Europeans tend to be taller.. but even that depends. In the Mediterranean they're shorter than in Finland (I'll blame my heritage! ) which is why...I'm pretty short around here....

Hi everyone. I'm soooo happy that the chibi club's such a hit!!! We have like... what, 30 members now... Gotta work on that list...

Btw, I was one of the tall people in 6th grade. I didn't like it. Well to my favor (Or not), I stopped growing while everyone else got taller and taller... I don't think I grew an inch since 6th grade. On the bright side, I can fit into all my old clothes and shoes from elementary school.

To tell the truth, I'm still glad that I'm short. I think it's because you can walk through a crowded room without everyone noticing you. And there's something else... But I can't explain it. I still get all the teasing and stuff from my friends, relatives, (Not my classmates though for some reason), ... They rest their elbows on my head (Ninja and Ailuro ), they call me names, ... And even though I tell them over and over again that I like being short, they never believe me.

Hmm... I also used to get teased for being short
especially in my training group. Everybody were early developers and above all I was the youngest! One guys was always teasing me.. calling me dwarf and giant and talking about places I wouldn't be alowed to get into because of the "height limit".
I actually didn't mind that kind of teasing... It was funny in a way When we got into a fight it wasn't about that...

My wife is short and my daughter is (obviously) short . Ah well, as a barbarian, I will enjoy the tall ball and hope that I don't get ostracized too much by the mighty short club .

@Kihaku: Yeees~ I've got the curse of shortness by Asian heritage. I got my growth spurt early though. I remember being extremely sick for a couple of days... Ugh, bad experience but it gave me these precious couple of inches I wouldn't have otherwise. My sis and brother still haven't gotten theirs'.

My heritage is both Asian and European. >_< My Mom and I are short. My Dad, younger brother and younger sister are all tall....

... oldest of the siblings, yet the shortest I am.... *mumbles* ¬____¬
