my queen, the invading army has been....neutralized. i have used part of the energies from thier souls to construct the wall to shield our nation that we have spoken about. this will hopefully prevent, or at least impede, future attempts of hostility upon our lands. unfortunately, this also traps any remaining hostiles within our borders. suggest that these people be found and sent back to thier king, in pieces.

as for the village of daruni, the biggest issue there now would be to dispose of the remains of the mercenaries there, what little that is left that is. ii have ordered the troops sent there to remain in the village and help the with rebuilding/cleaning/whatever as well as to keep the peace there.

now if you don't mind, i must find a medic and some supplies to take care of my careless mistake.

*rises and looks to the arrow. fades outs.*

*quitely walks in, overhearing the trail end of the converstation between the Queen and the Grand Vizer. He watches the Grand Vizer vanish and shakes his head a little.*

*walks over to the queen, a determined look on his features. He bowes a little, thwen looks back up to the queen*

My liege...I realise now that I have been rather selfish to just sit back here and bicker with someone over your daughter's approval as well as your court's. there is no need for a medic any longer. i grew impatient, so i removed the arrow and bandaged the wound myself. in these times the medics should have thier talents put to better use anyways. we should send them into our lands to help the people.

But I am happy that you have made a decision on a suitor. When the Prince returns, completes and passes his test, then he is permitted to propose. Until then, please remain here at the castle, for the Prince wishes to speak to you about certain matters when he returns.

20 Ways that I Would Improve the Queendom
A well thought out paper written by Prince DefiningMind (with some advice from Mistress Aya n_n)

This my friends is a list of things that I would do should I marry into the royalty of this fair queendom. Enough with the intro, here goes;
1. Get a good name for the queendom.
2. If a form of educating the younger masses has not been established (meaning school..), establish one.
3. Instate that a morning prayer would be said in these establishments every morn. The youth don't have to believe in Chirst if they wish not to, but the prayer would help them to realize that He is there...
4. Reform the law enforcment so that there are several different sections of such throughout the land. Each section would report to the Grand Vizer and Chancellor, whom would then report to my wife and myslef.
5. We will make full use of residential, commerical, and industrial zones. The residential area being on the outside of the lands as with the fields that need to be tended. Commerical zones woudl be placed wihtin the residential and industrial zones. And as one migt have figured, industrial zones will be placed within the center of the lands, but the castale will be away form them mind you.
6. Slaughter houses will be banned wiht the exception of aniumals used in everyday consumption (ie. beef, pork, chicken, etc).
7. The common public will be given the rights to bear arms. Given they will need to be fully-licensed to in order to bear arms and carry them with them. Royalty will be no exception to the licensing requirement.
8. Special routes will be provided to each end of the lands for miltia use only. Though other thought out routes will also be used in the case of an enemy invasion through the walls.
9. A means of public transportation will be introduced into the queendom/kingdom.
10. Fish Friday will not be just restricted to Fridays.
11. Criminals which are captured, or any citizen shall be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
12. The queendom/kingdom should consider seeking new foriegn policies.
13. A system of medical offiecs shall be put in place with fully-qualified healers at each establishment.
14. Slavery will be abolsihed. People may still have servants if they wish, but they must provide proper housing, food, payemnt, etc. for their services rendered.
15. Sunday shall be considered a day of rest. Those that must work (such as law enforcment, healers, some of the royal council) will work in a rotation between halves.
16. International trades will be set up with foriegn countries.
17. Outsourcing will be limited so as to keep jobs, industry, and the economic infastructure secure.
18. A declaration willbe made up so that citizens will be made aware of their rights.
19. War will not be declared until motives of the enemy are recieved.
20. The freedom to worship whichever deity one wishes to will be set up into place.

Those are very fine methods of how the country can be ameliorated, although point #20 somewhat contradicts #3.
