Well, I dunno. I'm sure Hito is prepared to defend this place to the death. Considering this is his castle. I would use trans-possession with someone like back when we faught the against the other castle. The only thing is my current situation has my abilities...umm....I don't really know them. I dunno if Black/Chaos/or even White Magic will work. It's kind of wierd though, I still feal something sleeping inside.

*the king wakes up in a sudden jolt in the royal chambers.*

At this rate, it will take another decade just to scan through everything. Almost every book I've gone through has been too general . . . says the same things and nothing much more. Perhaps I should search elsewhere . . .

*walks into the library, just as the queen is about to leave. sneaks up behind her and give her a hug.*

*walks over to a table and grabs a piece of paper. transmutes a symbol on it. the symbol appears to be an intricate rune depiciting a phoenix with an eye in the middle of it, the design of rune itself is akin to some of ancient runes of the queendom*

I can't say that it doesn't look familiar, but I cannot recall where I might have caught sight of it before. Perhaps in a reference book? But I've seen too many images as of late and have trouble keeping track of them all . . .

well.... i'm guessing that if you know about the merge, alarin told you about why we humans are here. the god that brought us here is named auron, apparently he was once a mortal man born on another world. the fairies don't know much more about him, but supposedly when he brought us here he hid a message for our people in one of the books in this library...

*looks around at the thousands upon thousands of books in the library*

now we just have to find the one book among these that carries that symbol...

*her eyes dart about the library and lands on the symbol on the piece of paper again, looking at it intently*

Ahh, just a moment now . . . I think I saw this . . . yesterday?

*taps her chin with a finger in thought, her eyes closed*

*retraces her steps and walks to a corner of the library and looks up at the shelf*

*scans the spines of the books and after a minute, extracts a book from the collection and flips through it, and finally lands on the page with the symbol alongside rows of small text; smiles and turns to the King*

*takes the book, shocked that the queen found it so fast. kisses her*

*starts to flip through it, notices thats it nothing more than some childrens stories*

*says what sounds like a prayer, in a some strange tongue. the words and images in the book change to reveal the real text*

huh.... it seems its not so much a message, but rather the mystical theories behind the principles that allow the chamber to work. very handy, though very hard to fully comprehend at the same time

*sits down and begins read the book*

*smiles at her diligent husband and retreats to a corner while the King is reading; an end table lies in the corner, with a small pitcher and cups sitting on it*

well it looks like some kind of rock but I've never seen anything like it before I can feel alot of dark energy in it...I think I'll take it home to study it

*Enters the courtyard to and begins to stretch. Without warning, a darkness stretches over the sky. The castle is shrouded in the same artificial night that he observed in the mountains. His attention darts to the army. In an attempt to get a better visual of the surroundings he shoots a few hundred feet into the air.*

Hmm… They may not be here yet but they are making good time. I guess I’d better check on our enemies location.

*Launches off to the north at immeasurable speeds. About a 200 miles out of Queendom he sees the army marching over the horizon.*

Dam, at this rate they’ll be here before tomorrow. I must report back to Queendom!

*Changing his course he turns and rockets back to Queendom. Without changing speed he blows through the courtyard, hallways, and into the throne room. There he lands and walks quietly into the library.*

*walks into the library* My Queen, I need a job

*looks up from his book to notices dragons04 enter the library*

*points to the sign next to the door*

*puts down his book, turns to face dragons04 and lights a cigarette*

*Walks out to the throne room balcony. Gazing at the sky, a fiery light can be seen glowing beyond the horizon. No doubt, light from hundreds-of-thousands of torches.*

DAM! We need more time. Just a few more days would help. I wonder if we’re going to have a meeting?

*Holds his hand out and lets a small amount of raw magic hover above it. The magic then begins to shift colors from yellow, to black, to red, to white, to blue, then back to yellow. He then closes his fist then absorbs it.*

*Begins to talk to himself*
So many different types. I can’t wait to show Mei. She’ll be amazed…Few can use raw magic, yet alone manipulate it. I don’t know how long it’ll last on the battle field though. Considering the fact that it burns off so dam fast! But then again that’s why I have this. *clutches a small cube in his hand* Maybe I’ll just absorb all of it……or die trying?

No, as we have not had much need for a royal seamstress. If the Queendom is victorious in the upcoming war, though, perhaps you could set up shop in the village square.

Before you do anything with a sword, please learn some self-discipline. You cannot yell like that in a library. Do you not see the sign? Our soldiers undergo strict training, and if you cannot even follow the simple instructions of a sign, then you would not be fit for the battlefield, or anything for that matter.

Do we have any word from Hito or DM? If there's a plan of attack I'd like to know about it. I would set up a barrier but it would be a waste of energy, one of the generals would just knock it down.

*the four beings and the king all look to the east at the same time. a gust of wind blows through the room. alarin walks out to the balcony and opens his mouth as if to yell; but what comes out sounds like the howling wind during a winters night more than words. soon five thousand fairy troops materialize around the castle, another five hundred fairy wizards appear in the courtyard. the king walks out to the balcony and smiles at this sight*

*the speech continues for another five minutes but in the fairy tongue. it seems to bolster the spirits of the fairy troops tremendously. Baelmus enters the throne room.*

ALARIN: Baelmus, go see to the men. I want the fortifications setup by noon, and shelter setup by nightfall.

major, help the fairies settle in and fortify the grounds. use whatever resources you need. oh and major... these beings were nice enough to help us and they are far more versed in the arts of magic and war; i will not allow anyone to give them grief while they are helping us. if anyone tries to even look at one of the fairies funny, i want their head on a pike. is that understood?

You really shouldn't be so sad that our enemies are degraded. The only one's here who could take a Demon of Pure Blood would probably be the Queen or King. Haven't you felt the power that shoots from King Hito? Those are just minor energy spikes. If he were to unleash, we'd all need to get a safe distance away.

*Looks out a nearby Window.*

I wouldnt worry about your challenge. These demons are about 10 times stronger than the last ones we fought. They are the "High Ranked Demons" of our world. Lucky for us the the King has friends in other dimensions and worlds.

*Points to the Demon General Alazgore who can be seen marching miles away. Huge Horns bulge from his head and a strange red glow surrounds him.*

He's mine! I dont care who takes Rakshasas, but Alazgore is mine. Don't interfere. I need this!

Well, I wouldn't worry to much about them. Plus you don't have much time to train. The only thing they have over us is numbers. As long as we take it seriously we'll be fine. That is.....Unless theirs something much, much darker at work here. Why else would the King call in such High Beings to defend us? And why would they help if they placed that burden on us? Well..........I suppose we'll find out wont we...

Numbers wouldn't be a problem if we had explosives of a sort that had a wide explosion radius, minus the effect of a nuke. 'Course, I could wipe out a thousand plus with this... *points to the half-edge*

Part of the reason we have those faries here is because they can help us with that super weapon we've got tucked around here somewhere... If they can figure out how to get that working soon, we'll have nothing to worry about...

Do you think the demons that fairy Alarin spoke of were what we'd call ancient demons? Or maybe they're slightly younger than that? Meh, who knows? If there is a dark force behind all this, let's hope they're just more demons...

I'll think I'll play with the Alchemic Freak. To me Alchemy is a scientific branch of Magic. Maybe my logic is flawed. Doesn't it seem that they take advantage of elements and use magic to turn them? Just a thought.

Yes, the fairies may be here to work on the weapon.....or they may have alternative motives. Not diabolical, they just know something we dont. That's the vibe I pick up.

As far as the weapon goes. I just don't want it to rip me apart again. It shouldn't this time.....considering I've changed alot. Atleast I hope it doesn't target me.

Since there is now a potential plan in progress that could make things work in our favor, we may not need to evacuate after all. But the people should probably leave the general vincinity of the Queendom at any rate, so as to prevent unnecessary casualties. They will likely have to be directed to the Persimmon Lands, and if you are able to help out, then by all means, you have my permission.
