Pretty nasty, but nothing I can't fix. *mei leans her staff against the wall to free her hands, then brings her palms together. When her hands separate, they glow in a bluish-white light. Xith looks anxiously at the white magic.*

Don't worry--it won't hurt, even if you're a demon. Well, it won't hurt too much.

*she brings her hands near the largest wound, hovering over the bloody mass. The blood begins to glow an orange color even as the wound seals. She does this for each of Xithion's wounds, and soon there is not a scratch upon his body.*

Whew. That was more tiring than I thought.

*right as his words finish, the king is back at his desk. theres a noise behind him, he turns around just in time to see an energy ball flying right at his head. he ducks just in time, and returns fire with a beam of energy right between the eyes of the demon that attacked him. proceeds to walk out of the room, but stops as he walks in front of a mirror. looks right into the mirror.*

*reaches for one of her hidden daggers as the faint shadow appears and moves towards her*

*sigh* Alright, you guys. Go return to the other villagers and defend them. *turns to Chiarys again* Where did you send them?

Chiarys: Our restaurant. Where else?

*FM holds his forehead in his hand* You gotta be kidding me...

*blip* ! (right...) You guys. Get a move on! Now! *the militia men run off toward the castle. FM types up a message and sends it to Coffee*

Do NOT give them any alcohol until the fighting is over. I don't want any drunk idiots fooling around while potential enemies are still lurking around outside.

Chiarys, go to the town entrance to the castle and wait there. If any potentially hostile demons try to enter, stop them at all costs. I'm gonna hang back here and see if our demon friends from outer space want to join the party or not.

Chiarys: OK boss, but are you sure you'll be alright on your own?

Yeah, I'll be fine. I've been in hard spots, you... erm, yeah, I'll be fine. Now hurry up, you'll need to set up defenses. Take these. *gives her a large box of strong charms* Now get going!

*as he is running, the king feels a sharp pain come from his wedding band. when he grasps it with his left hand, he sees a slash on his left forearm appear for an instant before fading away*

*starts to run at flash-like speeds, with his eyes closed in concentration*

*his eyes open wide, glowing with an intense light*

*begins to move at even faster rate*

*a hulking wall of a demon pops out of nowhere, right in front of the king's path*

*the king simply runs through the demon, which explodes as the shockwave from the impace rips through his body like a knife through poorly made butter*

*high-pitched metallic clangs ring throughout the dead meadow; the queen is still standing, a dagger in each hand*

*the shadow's attacks become more powerful and she is knocked down, landing beside the glowing stream; the thing swipes at her head with an unidentifiable limb*

It's . . . damp. Hmm . . .

*gets up quickly to run a little ways upstream, jumps into the river and begins to head upstream, walking against the current; the riverbank soon disappears to give way to towering, rocky cliffs on both sides of the river*

I do hope that whatever this liquid is, it is similar to water.

*the creature jumps into the river as well and gives chase*

*in haste, she carves an array on the side of one of the cliffs with one of the daggers and performs a transmutation; the liquid freezes, and neither the creature nor the queen can move*

Well, at least I should be safe for a while.

*finally reaches the meadow just in time to see the shadow creature free itself from the ice.*

oh hell no....

*blinks out of existance for a brief moment only to reappear right in front of the creature. CLAP!!! a blinding flash of light explodes from his hands, the creature jumps back ten feet in pain, and a little bit of fright. as the light is fading, the king seems to grab the light itself and, in one deft motion, molds the light in the shape of a sword. tosses the sword to quis' feet, freeing her from the ice.*

HERE!!!!

*turns to face the creature*

*assumes a stance clearly designed fo iaijutsu*

*the king's body starts to glow, his form slowly starts to turn in to pure glowing light*

*as the creature charges, the king draws his sword and slices it in half; only to have the shadow reform. the battle goes on like this for for while, the king hacking the creature only to have him regenerate. though no permanent damage is being done to creature, the king is clearly dominating the duel.*

TELEPATHIC MESSAGE TO QUIS: do that ice transmutation again, but this time make the water explode and cover everything first. i need a layer of ice over EVERYTHING....

*Looks over himself.* Thanks Mei! Though I don't know which was worse, the pain from the wounds or the pain from your magic? Oh well at least I'm not bleeding anymore!

*Pulls out the box and sucks up the mass of demon pieces left behind* Believe me, I have other purposes for this besides clean-up. *Stashes the box back into his pocket*

Shardy, stay where I can see you. *Pulls out his fist dagger, grips it with both hands and begins to pull, splitting it into two halves; one purple and one green.*

*Screams at four nearby demons in a hellish language. One of the larger demons walks up to him boldly, and they both begin to talk in an aggressive tone. Suddenly the demon takes a swing at Xith, only to be blocked by one of his daggers.*

So you don't want to say eh? Then taste my blade! *Brings the other blade around and takes a slice out of the demons abdomen. The cut begins to boil and a green liquid leaks out. He looks up at the demon and smirks* Poison, scumbag! *The demon falls over and it's eyes roll back. Soon it is dead.*

*Glares at the other demons who are still staring.* What's the matter? Are you afraid? Your all scum, just like him. *eyes shoot in the direction of the dead demon* Not even worthy of being called demons!

*The three remaining demons glance at each other, then lunge at him.* Till the death then! *Braces himself and begins slicing as the demons collide with him. Soon the demons have small cuts all over their bodies. Their wounds also begin to boil in green and purple, and one after the other they fall over*

*Peeks back at Shardy who is standing as close to him as she san, yet strangely far away from the demons* Are you okay?

Hmm . . . how to make the water explode . . .

*runs further upstream, looks around and spots the top of the cliffs, then sees a small deposit of deep water, resembling a small lagoon*

*draws a circle and a flash of lightning collides with the cliff tops, splitting the cliffs; as gigantic boulders and rocks tumble into the lagoon, making waves nearing the size of a tsunami, she presses herself against the side of the cliff and rapidly carves another circle*

*a bright blue light envelops the surrounding area and as the waves fall upon everything, they are frozen into crystalline sheets*

I hope that is sufficient, my king.

*steps into the throne-room...*

*takes a knee and drives his katana into the ice at his feet. all the light from his body flows through the katana and into all the ice in the room; basically creating a gigantic wraparound searchlight out of the room. when the light fades, the creature is nowhere to be found. sheathes his sword, walks over to quis, and give her a hug.*

*The airship finally comes to a stop over the royal courtyard. DM tightens his gauntlets as one of the crew members comes running up to him*

CM: Sir, we plan to lend our services and attack the airiel fleet after you and the princess have left the ship.

*nods slowly to the crew member* Well it seems like she's already beaten me in getting to the castle. In any rate, good luck.

*with that the prince flings a rope over the port side of the airship, then quickly slides down the rope. As soon as his feet set down he's off and running towards the throne room. He wasn't exactly sure what kind of force had built up here, but he wasn't going to let it tear apart the Queendom he had so come to creish.*

*dashing into the throne room he sees Bling standing there, in full battle gear. Without any hesitation he runs over to join her* Sweetheart, I'm glad to see you're alright... *he gives her a quick kiss* Have you seen your mother or fatehr about?

everyone else? honestly i don't know... i was.. well actually... i kinda swore to keep that part a secret... not that you'd believe me if i told you....

i have no idea where this place is... i don't remember this place being part of the layout that i learned when i became vizier. i just knew you were here....

*pulls out his headset*

*just as the princess utters those words a large runic circle forms a few yards away from them. The intricate patterns of the circle begin to rotate faster and faster until finally it widens. A hoofed, musclar leg steps through, followed by another, then the whole large, burly beast of a Minator steps through, wielding a large, six foot great axe. The towering creature looks at both Bling and Dm and narrows it's blood-red eyes.*

Unfortantly i don't think we'll be getting the time to look for them, love... *he reaches into his pocket and grabs one of the small orbs which FM had given him as a wedding gift.*
It's time to see if these will work their magic.

*with that he places one orbs on his open palm. With a bit of excruciating pain, the orb sinks into his hand. As soon as the searing pain dies down, he senses a new energy coursing through his veins.* Alright! This is it... *he says before placing the other irbs on his oppisite hand, producing the same result*

Edit - *after the pain dies down in his left arm, he explains to his wife* Well appearently the castle has come under attack by demons, as you very well can see... *gestures to the Minator standing before them.*

*senses a flicker of high level energy*

He's at it again, huh... (but how'd he get so damn strong so quickly? Must be that fairy juice he drank... And why so fast...?)

*blip* Hm? Well, that's quite a drop in altitude. What are they planning...

*the ground begins to rumble and the building he's on shakes*

!? *looks around at the ground* (Where is it?) *he can feel the floors below him being smashed* Below, huh. *readies his new katana* Party time...

*but before the one below attacks, a giant white red-headed demon worm lunges at him from behind, mouth gaping open. he notices just in time and jumps, only to be caught off guard yet again by a similar worm. before it tries to eat him, he pulls out the half-edge and uses it to smash the worm in the head, pushing him even further up into the air. the two worms below him clear out of the way, revealing the third worm that was coming up through the building. he is caught off guard again, and the worm manages to catch him in his mouth. the worm begins to fall back to the ground, but before it lands, a blue beam blows open a hole in its underside, with FM following it out. the worm crashes and lets out a howl of pain. FM notices that the wound is slowly healing. before he can do anything, the other two worms attack suddenly out of the ground, forcing Fm to run. as the worms take turns attacking, FM can only dodge each attack*

Better hurry before the other one joins in...

*a worm lunges at him. he jumps high enough so that the worm barely misses. FM takes hit opportunity and plunges both swords into the demon as it goes past him. the demon crashes into a nearby building. FM follows it in and finishes off by slicing it from top to bottom. the other worm attacks before he can finish. he holds up the katana and supports it with with the half-edge. the worm collides head-on, getting split into two halves*

(Where is the third?) *a crash is heard near the entrance to the castle* Damnit! *he runs off toward the gate* (I hope that girl can handle herself...)

Yes, at the moment, the war above certainly has more priority. Are you able to teleport us to a location that is close to the battlefield? Preferably somewhere relatively safe, where we can see everything first before deciding on the next course of action.

Oraa! Allow me to aid your attack, Falling-san!

*brandishes PVC pipe and runs after Falling-san to the gate*

*looks worriedly at the Prince and at the Minotaur...*

*puts palmns together, and radiates a bliding light*

umm.... the bay windows in the throne room would work...

*wraps his arms around the queen. the royal couple fade out and reappear in the throne room. unfortunately they reappear at the very spot where the minotaur's axe is about to land. the king quickly picks up the queen and rolls the duo out of the way.*

*pulls out his handgun and unloads three shots into the minotaurs groin, dropping it to its knees screaming*

happy birthday... ya axe wielding, bull headed bitch...

*the minotaur is muttering some insults at the king in tauric through his pain. BANG!!! another shot to the groin. turns to the minotaur. put a finger up to his lips*

i really don't see what the big deal is, he's not dead... also there are WAY more demons outside for you, if you really want.

*arrives at the front gate to see the place unscathed. he notices Chiarys beating down the demon with her bare hands. her sword is still in it's sheath*

Oh. Right... *chucks the katana at the demon, piercing it's head. it begins to burn away. at that moment, he finally notices that the airfleet has begun it's attack*

Nice diversion. Chiarys, go assist the castle residents. I'm going to see what I can do about the fleet...

Chiarys: OK. See you later. *runs off*

*under his breath, he says* Don't die on your warm-up, little sister...

*he grabs the katana in his left and takes the half-edge in his right, then flies up into the air to survey the battle*

Hmm... they only have three attacking. Where are the other three? *he sees shots being fired from up high* Bingo... *flips out his laptop and sends a message to DM*

Have you ships eliminate the enemy ships attacking the castle directly. If any damage on the ship reveals something akin to blood or internal organs, it's only an armor-plated flying demon. Hit those as hard as you can. If it's just more metal, bring out heavy artiliary for those. Those are the demon-machines. Shouldn't be too hard to deal with. Have fun with your wife on the battlefield. You two should make quite the duo.

*he tucks away the laptop and flies further into the atmosphere, to the other three ships*

*Quickly forms two energy blades and takes the opportunity to press in on the attack*

*he then slashes through the Minotaur's jugular vien and leaps up onto it's shoulders. With another slash he severs the creature's spinal cord, causing it to become limp. DM jumps off the beast's shoulders as it falls to the ground. Deftly setting down, he loks up to the Queen and King, a smile coming across his face*

*Suddenly 12 foot cat demon jumps off the castle wall and hurls itself at him. He turns around just in time to block its teeth with his dagger* Good kitty…. *The cat begins to slash at him with it’s claws* You really should cut those! *Headbutts the oversized cat, rolls backwards and hurls it into the fountain.*

And to think, I was thinking of skinny-dipping in that! *The cat emerges soaked and all-around pissed off! It runs at him, but he quick-steps and slices the cat down the side. * Got you…*The cat’s wound begins to boil and the cat to licks the gash. The boiling stops and poison has no effect.*

What the…*The Cat then begins to circle him. Pacing and Growling as if it was about to have dinner a bird dinner*
