*upon hearing the movements of the bandits/slavers, pops his katana out of its sheath. catches it between his palms and transmutes it into a silenced assault rifle. fires seven shots, five figures fall out of the trees dead. twenty more begin to converge upon the royal couple. *

this ought to be fun....

*transmutes the rifle back into a katana*

*looks down at the flame array, and charges towards a oncoming group*

Ah-ha! Some long-awaited action!

*ducks to avoid an attack and unsheaths both daggers, proceeding to throw one at the closest attacker; the dagger finds it mark and the bandit falls*

Ahh, wonderful. These travel through the air quite well, it seems.

*pulls out the dagger from the bandit, who emits a painful cry*

Let's see . . . *scans the area* Ahh, many more to go. At least it will keep us entertained for a little while longer.

*runs through a group of bandits and slashes at opponents rapidly, but suddenly feels a jolt of pain on her arm, which is now marked by a small red line*

They've managed to scratch me. Hmm, now they're getting somewhere.

*while charging a group of bandits, sheathes his katana. right as he is within reach of them, he blinks out of existance for half second and appears behind them. slices all five of them to shreds in only four movements. as the tiny bandit chucks fall they seem to ignite and reduce to ash before hitting the ground.*

so thats what it does....nice...

*turns to check how the queen is doing. sees two bandits sneaking up on her, from two different angles no less. blinks behind one, pulling out a handgun from under his robes. kicks the bandit in the back of the knee and finishes him off execution style. turns his attention to the other bandit. drops gun, which disappears as it falls. moves towards the other bandit with blinding speed. leaps the last ten feet of the distance between them, draws his sword midair and impales the bandit as he lands. continues to push the bandit back another five feet until they crash into a tree. the bandit turns to ash and is blown away...*

*raises an eyebrow at the scene that had unfolded* Ahh, very impressive array. Is that all of them?

*looks around. pulls out the same handgun from before and fires three shots in some bushes. a bandit falls out of them. *

thats all of em....so.... town then?

*puts away his weapons and picks the bags back up*

*wipes off the blood on the daggers with some tree leaves and sheaths them*

*the royal couple finally reach the town shortly before nightfall. pulls out two hooded cloaks from one of the bags. throws one to the queen, puts the other one on.*

here, put it on so we can just blend in.....

*puts on the cloak*

I wonder what sort of things we will find here . . .

*looks around and sees a modest little town. points to the local inn*

perhaps we should find a place to stay first...

Ahh, yes. It would be nice to have a place to put down the luggage as well. I do hope this inn is secure.

Oh really? *grabs sword and blue aura appears, then pokes ship. gets electrocuted, but it doesn't really hit him.* Come on...
*rockets fly out and hit 'em. smoke clears. stands unscathed* *glares at ship*
Pathetic. *giant laser fires at him, followed by a shocking taser and a shiny blazer.* (this could get serious...) eh, Ok. Let's try this again...
*lets go of the sword and aura dissapears. pokes ship again and gets FRIED*

i should break your arms and destroy your sword... but i am in a good mood today...

*looks down at the note*

*pins the note to the battered warrior and teleports him back to the castle. his body appears midair within the throne room and just plops down on the hard marble flooring with a loud thud.

the king then teleports back to town and walks back to where the queen was waiting*
