I think everyone can guess my name or have seen in it on the newcomer post lol. If you don't know, lets just say the name is on Scooby Doo, and its the girl with the orange hair, after you find out who that is, then you will know my name which is spelled the exact same way and said the same way as it is on the show...lol

My name is Cassondra. My mom was really close to just naming me "Sondra", apparently.

I like it; it's good for formal occasions, while I use "Cassie" and "Cass" for everyday life.

I've heard that it's Greek for something like "one who enflames the hearts of men with love", but I'm not sure how true that is. (Certainly not true in my experience, in any case. )

As the ancient story goes, Cassandra was the Trojan princess who could see into the future; she foretold that Troy would be destroyed, and was locked up in a tower because everyone thought she was nuts. Ha! Well, I'd say that it's going to live long and prosper. But that's not a very impressive prediction, especially considering how may members there are, and how many have been joining lately. I think the numbers are going to keep shooting up as more and more episodes of FMA are shown in the US. But over an extended period of time, I think the number of active members will wane a bit.

That's generally how it goes; a great anime is dubbed in English and becomes really popular. Then HotTopic starts churning out the merchandise, and the forum numbers explode. But over time, the fan art and fan fiction slows down, and people aren't as active. Sure, they may still be big fans, but they just don't participate like they used to; and the people left behind are the "hardcore fans", I suppose.

Like I said before, my predictions aren't very impressive.
