Just heard snippets of every song. Not quite as good as the first one, perhaps, but it's still nice. Maybe some tracks need to grow on me. Much more piano stuff than orchestral, more than I expected of this soundtrack anyway.

I'm still listening to it right now I really love the more "angsty" feel of this one, and the sad tracks, but it misses the more millitary tracks of the other one. Those were my favorites

And I don't quite understand all the hype about the "Dante" track.

Why?

about the Dante track: I guess its the mysterious tone of it that's so attractive. Something about it seems to be suspicious but its too pretty to be the outright "baddie" theme.

Its also one of the few theme tracks from the FMA osts that doesn't make want to break down and cry (Thats a plus)

Thats the one thing about these osts, the music to me is really powerful, so I have to skip the really sad ones quite often to avoid the water works XD

In the FMA OSTs, I find that it's usually the happy tracks that make me cry.

God damnit. Still doesnt have the song Ive been looking for. It's a piano piece played quite often, and the earliest time I know of that its played is episode 2. I got excited when I heard Kuukyo with the same first note or two, but no, wasnt it. Even went back and double checked OST 1 to see if I missed it. I'll find some places where its played and make another topic about it.

But anyways, on to the good. Lot of piano pieces, which I like. Both versions of Brothers are awesome. Overall: 9/10

well. the OST is good, but I think the only really good one is Dante Theme, everyone waited for this. instrumentary version of brothers is cool too, but the rest... I miss the "pinted-size alchemist" version which was first played on the island, the episode with chibi-ed and chibi-al surviving for 30 days... the OAHYAAAAaaaa~ and so on .. XD

too bad it's not on the 2nd ost... T_T

oh, and the roy chara cd sucks. the riza one is nearly the best of the cd, because the seiyuu of riza sings pretty well ^^;

Well, there's still more soundtracks coming. It'll be on one of those ones. I'm surprised they didn't put the TV versions of the OP/ED themes though.

The main reason I really wanted this OST was for the Dante theme (and all its variations)

But now, I'm loving much more all the "finale" music....by that I refer to the first two tracks. (and the similar) It just makes me think about the end.....

track 6 is from the scene when Ed flashbacks to the time when he and Al got into a fight and Al was by the river side, angry at his brother. then Ed comes alogn and says, "Al, let's go". remember? I believe it was Episode....i dunno, but the name of that episode was With the River's Flow.

oh, and about the Dante song, isn't the woman just chanting Hohenheim over and over again? sounds like that to me at least. like...Ho-HEN-HEEIM, wooah woah woah? does it ring a bell?

Lol! If that is so, then that explains why the same scene pops in my head every time I hear it.

What I wanted to say is that I can understand people who download the OSTs and burn them on CD to listen to them, but I can't understand people who want it to look like the original one, with extra cover and so on. fuck them >:(

hey!! wait a moment, the only reason for me to ask for a cover is to have some kind of identify, in order to know in the moment,for example, what contains the cd case over my table, so i wont need to open it and read the name.I only put covers to music cd's that i really love in order to find them quickly in my room.
And for some people burn mp3's in a cd is the only way to listen some kind of music, for example to listen a japanesse soundtrack in spain (europe) because i'll never buy anything from that far in ebay (i have some really bad experiences) and i can't understand japanesse to make an order in sony music japanesse shop...
So please for the next time don't fuck anybody until you know why they are asking for.

Anyway back on topic. What an excellent OST this is. This OST is ALOT better then the first OST. I love how it is more Orchestrl then the first OST and more dark then the first OST. This captures the sense of FMa alot more then the first OST in my opinion.

I have to say Greed's theme and Dante's theme are the best in the OST.

Lust's Theme was actually . . . quite nice.

Does anyone know where I can find the translated titles of the songs? Anyway, I like "Yuukoku," "Greed," "Dante," and "Myakudou" the best, in that order, but the various versions of "Dante" are nice, too.

I also find that "Homunculus" is one of the better variations of Dante's theme. And as for "On'Ai" I love it the most cause its just takes me to those most dramatic scenes of the last episode (sniffs)

Um i have a problem and i dont know why

i got the OST 2 track downloaded with bit torrent, i tried to put it onto my playlist (by dragging it) for windows media, i got all of them on, but after a few minutes they end up with exclamation marks beside them and windows cant play it

any thoughts?

I have a small problem with track 23 "Kenran".
Where is it from? I can't remember hearing it in an episode.
Please help me!
