i do that too! i had a nasty spill down the stairs at my old house and i'm a little stair phobic now, i guess lowering my center of gravity and crawling makes me feel safer (but stupider)

The same thing a vast majority of Gaijin living in Japan do... English instructor. It's not what I wanted, but the only other position JET offers, which would've been much better for my resumé, requires a level of language proficiency that I don't yet possess.
