I would suggest waiting until both of you are out of college. She would have schoolwork AND a wedding to juggle and that might prove to be a little too stressful.

hm...traits i look for in a guy...? lessee... i like a guy to be easy to talk to, that's a big must-have... it's no fun to hang out with guys who are afraid to talk... also, i like them...well, i guess sensitive isn't exactly the right word, since guys seem to be frightened by that word, fearing it takes their masculinity down a notch...but my guy would have to be able to express himself in ways that didn't only involve grunting and breaking things... i love a good sense of humor, and an intelligent guy is totally sexy. but i guess more than anything, common interests are what is most crucial... after all, even the perfect guy is really of no use as a partner if you have nothing in common...

personality is a lot more important to me than looks, but if i get a choice, i prefer dark hair and blue eyes... i like him taller than me (but that's nothing too difficult), and a nice smile is a big plus. double bonus points if he's got a cool accent. i get all woozy when i listen to australian guys talk... ~o~

i swear you guys post that six or seven times every day

for the guy:
- taller than me (so taller than 5'8")
- in pretty good physical condition
- cute (is that a given?)
- asian
- sweet, like "will give me his coat on a cold day" sweet, etc
- funny, can stand/get my sarcasm
- relatively good grades
- nice, calmer temper than me so we don't get into a lot of fights because i argue a lot, can sort of keep mine under control
- doesn't mind taking a few hits. as in, i'm the sort of girl who shows her affections by punching lightly/not so lightly, etc ;; (remember that friends episode where the girl joey dates was like that?) yeah, i'm weird. my guy friends go through this all the time
- has some interest in anime or at least doesn't diss it
- if he has artistic skill, isn't competitive about it with me. two of the three or four guy's i've had crushes on in the past have been really talented artists, but really competitive and nothing got anywhere because they were being frustratingly competitive about art.
- cares about his appearance and dresses well
- can balance time with me and time with his friends
- has nice friends
- doesn't smoke or do drugs
- polite, isn't really obnoxious or a jerk
- repects my religion
- is satisfied with who i am
- can listen to me rant and explain things i don't get
- doesn't mind spending money on me (i snack a lot and my wallet is forever sad and empty)

it's always nice to see a guy who takes time to make himself look nice. casual clothes are great, too, but the shabby ones who take no pride in their appearance tend to turn me off at first glance... scruffy, i go for...sloppy, i don't.
