Although I still like Inuyasha, I think it was maybe a little overated. But Naruto - my lord, people never shut up about it. And it's not that great to me. All it is is more fighting. Wow, an ANIME centered around FIGHTING?! What is this?! They've never done that before!
Inuyasha is a bit overrated, I admit, but I also still like it to some extent. I'm a bit lazy to follow the episodes, but I pretty much get the gist of the plot even just from watching the four movies. Some inside jokes (such as Kagome making Inuyasha sit) are too classic to get old. XD
But Naruto? When it came out where I live, people started raving about it like it was the Holy Grail. It was everywhere, everyone talked about it, and when I decided to see what the story was about, I wasn't too impressed with the storyline and the art, and was much less impressed when I realized how many episodes it was. You could say I was partly traumatized by overenthusiastic fans, and I was a bit disappointed when it didn't meet my expectations, seeing as everyone praises it.
