True, but I didn't realize until just ten minutes ago. In other words, until you put it that way.

How do you sleep ON Christmas? You can sleep ON a holiday?
Maybe you meant in it in a figurative context.

Yeah, interesting, isn't it? Whose side would you take?
GuestHole
Dec 9 2004, 01:14 AM
Side? Tough. I personally think it's wrong for the wife to have a plastic surgery, but then the husband is also narrow-minded. Both are shallow, undoubtedly. I'll take neither's side. I'm just going to laugh at them.

Yeah. Shallowness on the man's part. False advertising on the woman's.

Dec 9 2004, 01:27 AM
oh man, what a dumbass. i feel sorry for the woman -- she must have hated how she looked and spent all that money to become prettier, only then have some idiot who only cared about her looks to fall in love with her, then divorce and sue her. that really, really sucks. hey, when i get older i may do some minor plastic surgery to my chin because i bashed it in when i was young and it's very un-prominent

I like the way I am. Ugly or not...I don't mind..,
xrninja
Dec 9 2004, 01:35 AM
i don't love the rest of my face, but i was born with those features and i'm fine with that. the chin was a product of falling face first off the monkey bars in preschool and it not only messed up my teeth and subjected me to 11 years of orthodontics, my chin got bashed in and the tip is about an inch farther back than most people's. which does not make me happy.

Dec 9 2004, 01:38 AM
Ouch...but you don't look bad when you posted your picture...
xrninja
Dec 9 2004, 01:42 AM
my mouth was closed and the picture was taken from the front

and i was young; my chin seems to be retreating as i age, God knows why. but i'd never completely change my looks like the lady in the article probably did, or what those people on that show "the swan" do. i'm okay with the people on extreme makeover, but the people on the swan weren't really ugly to begin with and don't really need the surgery.

Big-people scissors (the kind with pointed blades) that can be used as razors. Just a suggestion, for those FBI agents who're monitering public forums like these....

I think it's silly. It's not Wal-Mart's fault that Evanescence had a profane word in their songs. It's not like they can listen to every single CD they sell to make darn sure that those words aren't in there.
People who sue for reasons like these are not rational people.
Take a look at this, kids. Think again before buying a laptop.

I've heard of this story, too, but this is the first time I've read the article...
So does it only affect guys? I mean, you know, since they only metioed...well, whatever. In any case, I've also heard it affected women, too, but I'm not sure.
In any case, let's just all leave it on the desk, please!
