Now the prison awaits a generous charitable, but completely unrelated, donation from the Hilton family or one of their associates.

I bet Paris's "medical problem" was her boobs started to deflate, and plastic surgery was in desperate need after wearing no makeup for three days started melting her skin.

I heard this news a few hours ago and I'm STILL pissed off >_>' I was so happy when Paris was arrested.

What Boobs? tongue.gif

Reporters say she left appearing slightly choked up and rubbing her throat as if it were kind of tender. They also saw what looked like cough syrup on her chin.*

"Making Paris unable to leave her house and not going shopping is a TRAGEDY (expensive brands do not sell most stuff online). While most people don't care about going shopping everyday. To Paris not able to make premiere appearances is a huge deal, to most people it's nothing."

A friend and I have decided that such a premise will make the HOTTEST military themed yaoi evar.

Seriously, though. It's silly and simply one of those "LOL, Government!" moments.

Another interesting news item is one I shall relay by memory, as I have no link, and I read it in a National Geographic cleverly titled "Norway's Ark".

In Norway a concrete radiation bunker has been constructed under the permafrost layer, in which to store approximately three million seeds from the world's staple crops. The seeds are donated from local farms.

A good backup in case the very worst happens, eh?

Edit- here's an older page with a paragraph or so about the plans for the building of the seed bank.

In the 70's, I think so-called "middle-class dream" .. that "if you work hard long enough, your life will eventually improve." kind of thing was still generally true, but I don't think that holds true that much any more. It's a very UNsecure world now in the U.S., IMO.

Now I'm more freaked out by roller coasters...

I'm amused by how they won't give us the spoilers in the article. rolleyes.gif Booooo.

(although I do have the link to the 'spoilers' if one wishes XP That's where this news really gets whacky, because this "Gabriel" is apparently one of those religious folk who think the books corrupt children. The Pope even comes up in his reasoning for doing this. XD)
QUOTE(The e-mail)
Yes, we did it.
We did it by following the precious words of the great Pope Benedict XVI when he still was Cardinal Josepth Ratzinger.
He explained why Harry Potter bring the youngs of our earth to Neo Paganism faith.

So we make this spoiler to make reading of the upcoming book useless and boring.

The attack strategy was the easiest one.
The usual milw0rm downloaded exploit delivered by email/click-on-the-link/open-browser/click-on-this-animated-icon/back-connect to some employee of Bloomsbury Publishing, the company that's behind the Harry crap.

It's amazing to see how much people inside the company have copies and drafts of this book.

Cell phones are way too easy to get hijacked. I think if you know what/where to look for, you can order the equipment to hijack cell-phones through electronics catalog (tho, of course they probably don't list it as the cell-phone hijacking equipment.. ^^) For the security around the house, I agree with Mini-san. Security cameras, and getting a dog should do it. smile.gif
