I hate horror movies. But making one must be fun

The movie that scared me was A Beautiful Mind, and I'll tell you why.
It's about paranoia, schizophrenia. That must be the most scary thing in the world, when someone suddenly tells you that all you believed in, all you did and people you thought to know don't exist. When your world collapses, when you actually can't make the difference between what's real and what's a product of your imagination. That is pure horror.
Alzheimer is somehow alike, when you can try as much as you want but you can't remember things, persons.

Definately '28 Days Later'. I'm horribly terrified of anything to do with diseases and such. >.>
Of course, Cabin Fever sucked, so that was nothing.
But movies like 'The Ring' and 'The Exorcist' didn't scare me because I'm not really affected by stuff like that. But my mother freaked. Heh.

How are you people scared of that movie? I was eating while I watched it, it was at night too!
I'm not "afraid" of any movie since anything that happens in the movie is fake. The only thing that would scare me is if they made a movie where a "real" thing is killing "real" people. Then I would be scared, but if you want to throw up by looking at "real" gore then go to www.rotten.com. Only go there if you have a strong stomach! You have been warned.

I'm not really scared by horror movies. I even saw the Japanese version of "The Grudge". Sure, it was a little creepy, but nothing overly scary. I actually laughed throughout most of it. I also did that during "Signs".

I've actually never seen "Jurassic Park". Pathetic, I know.
Gashole, you're right. Chinese vampire movies were a little scary. But now that I think about them, they actually look quite humorous.

There was also this Japanese movie (I forgot the title) that was supposed to be scary but made me laugh more. I think in general Asian countries suck at horror movies. Too random. Battle Royale, maybe.
@Quistis: by any chance, do you know the name of the moustached-guy who's always the vampire slayer?

Well, I had three other friends watching "The Grudge" with me (one of them was a guy; he's the one who brought it over, so he wasn't scared). The other two who were girls were very frightened. I guess it depends on the person.
Sorry, but I've forgotten by now. It's been a good decade since I've last seen a Chinese vampire movie.
The hopping is something I'll remember forever though. Simply hilarious.

It's ok, mommy's tough. People think I'm nuts because I laugh through horror movies.
Like that one scene in "The Grudge" (Japanese version) where these 3 girls were going after their friend who was still alive, and the friend runs into this room, slides the door shut, and pushes stuff against the door. The 3 ghosts pound on the door for a while and suddenly - lo and behold - they just slide the door open. Hilarious, I say, while people next to me were quite scared.

*nods head* Okay...
Yeah, and on Sunday evenings here in Japan, they have this series... it's about this lady who's a tour guide and her boyfriend the bus driver. Every tour they take--to onsens, temples, parks, ryoukans--they are haunted by $hit that juss freaks me out... like, the girl was in her hotel room, when she turned around to face the window, there was this corpse like in Scream 3 that was trying to enter in...
Okay, so maybe I'm juss a scaredy cat... *cringes* It's true... my guy friends juss grab me by the shoulders and shake me till I stop screaming; like the time we went to the haunted-house thing on Halloween...

Haha. Maybe you're just naturally a little jumpy.

I tend to scare people. They say they can't hear me when I walk and I apparently appear stealthy. They said I could be a good secret agent or something.
