I hate horror movies. But making one must be fun laugh.gif

The movie that scared me was A Beautiful Mind, and I'll tell you why.
It's about paranoia, schizophrenia. That must be the most scary thing in the world, when someone suddenly tells you that all you believed in, all you did and people you thought to know don't exist. When your world collapses, when you actually can't make the difference between what's real and what's a product of your imagination. That is pure horror.

Alzheimer is somehow alike, when you can try as much as you want but you can't remember things, persons.

Definately '28 Days Later'. I'm horribly terrified of anything to do with diseases and such. >.>
Of course, Cabin Fever sucked, so that was nothing.
But movies like 'The Ring' and 'The Exorcist' didn't scare me because I'm not really affected by stuff like that. But my mother freaked. Heh.

How are you people scared of that movie? I was eating while I watched it, it was at night too!
I'm not "afraid" of any movie since anything that happens in the movie is fake. The only thing that would scare me is if they made a movie where a "real" thing is killing "real" people. Then I would be scared, but if you want to throw up by looking at "real" gore then go to www.rotten.com. Only go there if you have a strong stomach! You have been warned.
Carnal Malefactor
Zombie/Gore flicks don't scare me at all.
-Zhou Yu-
Oh and on rotten.com, once your there scroll to the middle there should be a bunch of titles that reaches to the bottom. Read the titiles and click on it to look at the horrifyingly real picture. If your being a doctor its a good place to get used to gore
Quistis88
I'm not really scared by horror movies. I even saw the Japanese version of "The Grudge". Sure, it was a little creepy, but nothing overly scary. I actually laughed throughout most of it. I also did that during "Signs".
Gashole
I like Hong Kong vampire movies.

Don't double post.

I've actually never seen "Jurassic Park". Pathetic, I know.

Gashole, you're right. Chinese vampire movies were a little scary. But now that I think about them, they actually look quite humorous. biggrin.gif

There was also this Japanese movie (I forgot the title) that was supposed to be scary but made me laugh more. I think in general Asian countries suck at horror movies. Too random. Battle Royale, maybe.

@Quistis: by any chance, do you know the name of the moustached-guy who's always the vampire slayer?
-Zhou Yu-
Well they might dubbed it wrong.

Well, I had three other friends watching "The Grudge" with me (one of them was a guy; he's the one who brought it over, so he wasn't scared). The other two who were girls were very frightened. I guess it depends on the person.

Sorry, but I've forgotten by now. It's been a good decade since I've last seen a Chinese vampire movie.

The hopping is something I'll remember forever though. Simply hilarious.

Final Destination 2 is the scariest movie I have ever seen. all those people dying*shudders*

I beg to differ with Gassy... Asian horror flicks can actually scare someone crapless, for real... Philippine and Japanese ones can be freaky, no shit yo...

Maybe "The Ring" will scare me. I haven't seen that one yet.

Really? ohmy.gif I didn't think it was THAT scary. I even took a shower afterwards.
Bling_bling_Angel
ph34r.gif ph34r.gif ph34r.gif Ohhh God, where do I start? Horror movies from the Philippines incorporate some of the freaky legendary "stuff that go bump in the night"... the Philippines are rampant with all kinds of "bed-time" scary stories, such as ladies who sit sewing at night by the window... who, when the get up, lose thier lower torso and sprout bat-wings and chase the f^ck outta ya... ph34r.gif

And they've got thos old-style hacienda mansions in the provinces of the Philippines where there's those long lacy curtains that blooow in the wind... AND THEN SOME FREAK IS STANDING BEHIND YOU!!!!!! ph34r.gif

It doesn't seem as scary as it sounds. I guess I'd have to see it.
Bling_bling_Angel
You do NOT want to see it, Mommy... *whimpers*
Quistis88
It's ok, mommy's tough. People think I'm nuts because I laugh through horror movies.

Like that one scene in "The Grudge" (Japanese version) where these 3 girls were going after their friend who was still alive, and the friend runs into this room, slides the door shut, and pushes stuff against the door. The 3 ghosts pound on the door for a while and suddenly - lo and behold - they just slide the door open. Hilarious, I say, while people next to me were quite scared. biggrin.gif

They're scary in a different way. Lots of blood and weird creatures and whatnot.

It's ok. *pats Angel on the head* Next time you have to watch a scary movie, bring mommy along. smile.gif
Bling_bling_Angel
*nods head* Okay...

Yeah, and on Sunday evenings here in Japan, they have this series... it's about this lady who's a tour guide and her boyfriend the bus driver. Every tour they take--to onsens, temples, parks, ryoukans--they are haunted by $hit that juss freaks me out... like, the girl was in her hotel room, when she turned around to face the window, there was this corpse like in Scream 3 that was trying to enter in... ph34r.gif

Okay, so maybe I'm juss a scaredy cat... *cringes* It's true... my guy friends juss grab me by the shoulders and shake me till I stop screaming; like the time we went to the haunted-house thing on Halloween... laugh.gif
Quistis88
Haha. Maybe you're just naturally a little jumpy. smile.gif

I tend to scare people. They say they can't hear me when I walk and I apparently appear stealthy. They said I could be a good secret agent or something.
Lady Battousai
Ju-On couldn't be that scary...or is it?...

...

Uh...Yeah whatever...*ZZZzzzZZZzzz*
Bling_bling_Angel
laugh.gif Jumpy... yeah! I tend to freak out and scream alot, X333

Quistis88
How shall I go about it, IF I should ever do so? tongue.gif
Lady Battousai
and you just got scarier than before Quistis88. I hope you don't have a sword with you...cause it is after all heavy.O_O
Quistis88
Wait, you weren't supposed to see the swords . . .

And just to stay on topic, I guess you could describe me as a scary movie. tongue.gif
Lady Battousai
worse than that actually...

Scary movies?...there is one...not a movie but a short clip...happy tree friends. They are really scary but at the same time cute. O_O man, I;m never ever going near that website, it makes me shiver...
