Well, then why is there still under age drinking and drunk driving? What most government agencies fail to realize is that parents many times have almost no control over their kids.
Now there, forbid driving under 18 too. That'll be good. I mean, why do you even want to drive if you only have to go to school?
EDIT: Bacon, that is so true. It's really sad actually. This whole world is.

sorry to burst your bubble, but no law is 100% effective. you can put up as many laws as you want, but stupidity will always win.
who cares about parents? Any mortal should know that b/c of their irresponsiblilty someone dead is wrong. hmm. maybe i'm expecting too much.

Only when it's pretty ugly. But things are usually very ugly, anyway. *shrugs*

Really? The gap must have been huge before. All members should just get up and vote for all polls on this forum. We're still missing more than 1000 votes here.

9 more and it's a tie. Deja vu.

I voted a long time ago (but never posted)
I think my username is sort of girly so I figured most people would correctly assume I'm a girl.
Then again, I always pick guy themed decorations: avatar, sig.

That's because you were conceived by a brain in a vat on a desk from a mad scientist.

You

I so love to be able to confuse the masses. But it's all too apparent whenever I open my big mouth, I think.

(I thought it was natural to have an avatar featuring a male when you are in fact a woman

)

well, the mad scientist has programmed the computer to make me believe I'm a man, but I really don't know. Considering all I am is a brain, I imagine that I'm genderless technically.

I always knew you were you were a girl, your pic of Ed is soo feminine, I always think that picture is a girl, especially the deep green eyes lol

What colour eyes does everyone have by the way, mine are greenish/brownish

I think it's much better to be genderless on a forum. Message boards are the great equalizer. Regardless of race, age, sex, etc...you can contribute and if you contribute well, you are accepted. Nothing on the outside matters. Of course, we unfortunately don't have nice genderless pronouns that don't dehuminize at the same time (it isn't very nice is it)

arche: You poor poor pink/greyish mass, you.

(You don't even have eyes so discussing the next topic will be hard on you. Poor thing)
@
Aqua:

Spoilsport. Hmm, eyes. Interesting~ Mine are green/brownish as well.

Although it's more... light-brown than green. Got a green veil sometimes, but that's it.
EDIT: I've already figured out my next angst-topic.

It isn't very nice, no. That's why I always say 'their' instead. I thought it was also common you called someone you don't know the identity of in... plural... blah, my English isn't advanced enough to topple this sentence.

That and I'm tired already~ It's only 9 PM!

Jan 22 2005, 01:10 PM
I think you're right that you should use plural. YOu can technically get away with using masculine gender, but it's more and more being considered offensive to listeners. In other words, it's grammatically correct, but not necessarily socially correct (try explaining that issue on the Random Speech Therapy topic

)
The mad scientis has made it appear that I have greenish eyes in my delusion.
Aqua_Alchemist
Jan 22 2005, 01:19 PM
Heh green eyes are (imo) the best coloured type of eyes, nice and mysterious, and they are pretty rare as well (brown in the dominant allele).
I like to reveal my gender on a forum, that way if I do anything stupid, I can blame it on my blunt male instincts (LOL)

Female, yes I supposedly like the color pink do anything to get a guy and can't play sports and can't listen to rap or rock. That's a stereotype at my school 0_0 most are sexist I actually yelled at a guy who was. I was pretty mad he was acting like girls couldn't play sports. On the topic on forums I find the forums pretty fair in opinions (for example) compared to other forums. I visited the Naruto forum and there was so many debates and battles not to mention people use bad grammar. I don't know I find it so wrong, because of the forums rules over here and Quis, Xrninja and Zio sig.

Technically all brains... yes, true, but science has proved female and male brains to be different...
I've got grey-green eyes, but they're too small, and very narrow when I laugh. I always look like my eyes are closed on pics >_<
Yay, my topic has been revived! *does happy dance*

On most forums people tend to think I'm a woman. That's probably due to my coherent sentences and ability to communicate well
