Please post your Anime Expo, stories and reports (from any year) and discussions here! happy.gif
Hey guys! I've been working on an indie film starring some anime voice actors which is nearly completed filming. We will be having a panel at Anime Expo this year, Friday at 8PM. Vic Mignogna, Cristina Vee and others will be on the panel. I'm in the film too and will be present to support it. smile.gif

In addition to that, my DJ group, Tune in Tokyo, will be playing at Club Nokia on Saturday night. I'll be sure to play some FMA music! If you're in the area, come and check it out! biggrin.gif
@allykatty1 - How was the panel discussion at Anime Expo? And the DJing?
Got any pics and reports you can share? biggrin.gif
Sure thing! I've been so busy, it completely slipped my mind until now. smile.gif

Here's a link to the Broken Spirits panel, which is split into three parts on YouTube:

Vic Mignogna, Cristina Vee, Richard Epcar and Steve Weese appear from the beginning and later on they invite Kyle Hebert, Peter Bohush (director), Robert Amico (actor/producer) and myself up onto the panel as well.

If you're anywhere near LA, here's the link to my DJ group's FB page (Tune in Tokyo): I try to play as much FMA music as I can get away with!

And here are pics from our event at AX:

I'll attach a couple of my favorite pics, for good measure! I'm the one on the far right. happy.gif
Thank you, allykatty1!

Those two pics look great, and judging from that video everyone seem to have had a great tie at the panel discussion! biggrin.gif

(The Facebook link for pics says "this content is currently unavailable"... I will try it again sometime later. )
Hey guys! I’ll be participating in the Anime and Manga Studies Symposium at AX, where I’ll be presenting and talking about an article I wrote entitled “Fullmetal Alchemist: A ‘Western’ Story Influenced by Japanese Sensibilities.” It will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, in Live Programming 4 / LACC 411 and will be one part of a two-part panel called “Borrowing and Changing: What and How Anime Takes from the West.” You can find out more under Academic Lectures on the AX website. happy.gif

There will also be a 20-minute Sneak Preview of Broken Spirits. It will be at 12 noon on Sunday, July 7 Video 1 / LACC 403, following by a Q&A.
