Large roles:
(Click on the icons for larger images)

Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric

Minor roles:
(Click on the icons for larger images)

Winry Rockbell, Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Alex Louis Armstrong

The movie has a very few FMA characters... only Ed & Al in larger roles, plus Winry, Riza, and Roy in limited roles, and we see Alex in a very brief scene. There is no "FMA manga/Brotherhood anime"-only characters in the movie, nor any reference to these characters in the movie. Most of the story in the movie centers around the movie-only character, Julia, but there are plenty of action scenes with Ed, and Al, and action scenes in the movie are very, VERY dynamic.

New, movie-only characters:

Julia Chrichton

Info from the official site, translated by Tombow here:
"To bring back the country, we need great power." (Note: There is no explanation for the quote, but assume this is Julia's words.)
A 16 years old girl who was born in the area used to be called "Milos," situated in West part of Amestris, between Amestris and Creta. She carries a sad past, of her parents being murdered when she was young. ( Bambi xP) Has a strong wish to re-establish her home country of Milos, and works as a core member of a resistance organization called "Black Bat." While in Table City for a secret mission for "Black Bat" she was caught by Amestris army, and held in the facility for illegal aliens, but she manages to escape, helped by the group members from "Black Bat" and Al.

Info from the official site, translated by Tombow here:
"You, ... you have put your hands into God's territory, haven't you?" (Note: There is no explanation on this quote, but assuming this is Melvin's quote, and guessing that this is his words to Ed when he runs into Ed and saw his automail, and possibly Al's condition.)
A jail-bird serving the 5 year sentence for robbery at the Central prison in Amestris. (26 years old). His parole was coming up in two months, but something triggered him to attempt to escape from the prison. During the incident (his escape from the prison) he run into Ed and Al. Ed and Al found that he's also a very skilled alchemsit, and the Alchemy he used during the escape from the prison was something they haven't seen before. After shaking off Amestris army, he heads straight to Table City in Milos. Interested in his powerful alchemy, Ed and Al decide to head to Table City after him.

Other movie-only characters: (shown only some of them here. There are other characters, but you have to see the movie for those ^^)
(Click on the icons for larger images)

From Left to Right: Wolf Chimera, Miranda, Alan, Tony

Story-line Time period & Relation to FMA anime/manga series:
The time of this story is set sometime during the period for FMA manga chapter 45, or around FMA:Brotherhood anime episode 20.
...Al is already able to perform alchemy without the alchemy circle, and Ed & Al, Roy & his gang are still in Central, and this was shortly after Roy and Havoc had a big "encounter" with Lust. (i.e. this is NOT post-series-final FMA:Brotherhood/manga series movie.)

HOWEVER, except the brief moment of reference to certain element in Brotherhood anime/FMA manga, the movie is pretty much "stand-alone" story (although the story is very much within FMA universe, with the use of Alchemy, etc.), and the movie is produced to be enjoyed by ALL FMA fans, including FMA fans who have watched FMA-1 only. (Although, there are some things that are "similar" to what we see in Brotherhood anime/FMA manga, though not completely same/or called with some different name, so the Brotherhood/manga fans may notice the similarity, and these could become discussion points for Brotherhood/manga fans after watching the movie, but FMA-1 fans may not notice. ^^)

Place/Story Location:
In the far Western region of Amestris, border of Amestris and Creta lies an area that was used to be the land for the now-lost nation of Milos, and in the center of the area stands a place now called Table City, so named by Amestris after it's occupation.

There are 3 informational (anime) videos that provide us with enough info about this region that will help understand the movie's storyline, and we highly recommend checking these videos (or screencaps and translations). Scroll down toward the bottom of this post for the links. smile.gif

Production Staff:

Original story: Hiromu Arakawa
Except providing the original design of some of the movie only characters, Hiromu Arakawa was said to have stayed away from any involvement in the anime production.

Screenplay: Yuichi Shinbo
The writer of the screenplay of this movie is also known as the author of several Japanese mystery novels (although he has written screenplays for other movie/anime movie also) and the story of the movie very much has a mystery novel "touch" with twists and turns.

Director: Kazuya Murata
Character Design & Chief Animation Director: Kenichi Konishi
Unit Director: Shingo Natsume
Animation Director: Kiyotaka Oshiyama
The above four were the main core of the anime production of the movie who decided on character expressions and moves, etc. Two main staff, director Kazuya Murata and character design/chief animation director Kenichi Konishi worked together in Studio Ghibli, and hence the movie may reminds you of other Ghibli movies.

Music: Taro Iwashiro
He is a veteran composer for many movies and epic TV series.

Art Director: Kazuo Ogura, Tomoaki Okada

Mechanical Design: Shinji Aramaki
Art Concept Design: Tomoaki Okada
Color Design: Fumiko Numahata
Director of Photography: Yoshiyuki Takei
Sound Director: Masafumi Mima

Theme Song/ED: L'Arc~en~Ciel
Opening Song: miwa

Animation Production: BONES
Distributor: Aniplex, Shochiku Co. Ltd.

Character Design:
Pre-production, original character designs (settei), including the design for Julia were sent by Hiromu Arakawa. The final charcter designs in the movie are neither FMA-1 anime nor FMA:Brotherhood anime. For example, Ed has lemon-Yellow colored eyes in the movie. XD And, in general, characters have proportionally longer legs than the counterparts in FMA-1 or FMA:Brotherhood (except Al who has "hefty" looking armor and smaller head). Also, often the ending of hairs are drawn uniquely rounded.

VA Cast:

Japanese VAs for the original FMA characters are same as the cast of FMA:Brotherhood anime. And, unlike some other Japanese anime that often use pop singers, etc. for main roles, real professional actors/voice actors are used for movie-only characters (except the cast of "Black Mayonnaise" Japanese comedian pair for two very minor roles with one line each) so the Japanese VA casts in this movie are generally good and done professional jobs.

Edward Elric: Romi Park
Alphonse Eric: Rie Kugimiya
Winry Rockbell: Megumi Takamoto
Roy Mustang: Shinichiro Miki
Riza Hawkeye: Fumiko Orikasa
Alex Louis Armstrong: Kenji Utsumi
Julia Crichton: Maaya Sakamoto
Melvin Voyager: Toshiyuki Morikawa
Miranda: Sakiko Tamagawa
Lieutenant Colonel Hershel: Hidenobu Kiuchi
Alan: Takanori Hoshino
Tony: Shinji Kawada
Santos: Kosugi Ryuuichi
Carlos: Yoshida Takashi

Finally, the forbidden story of bond is told.

It ended in June 2010 and the accumulated total of series was over 50 million copies, "Fullmetal Alchemist" drawn by Arakawa Hiromu.
Elric brothers who committed a taboo, the original manga which depicted their pitiless journey and the whereabouts of their soul on on a magnificent scale called forth an echo.
Also, TV animation which was aired in accordance with the ending of manga is still fresh in our minds.
That "Fullmetal Alchemist" appears on a screen in summer 2011 again.
The director, Kazuya Murata (The series of "CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion") and character designer and chief key animation supervisor, Kenichi Konishi ("Tokyo Godfathers") are received as the new staff, in addition, the movie brings in Yuichi Shinpo who is the novelist and known for "Whiteout" etc as the screenwriter.
Studio Bones engages in creation of anime as well as previous series, and "Fullmetal Alchemist The sacred star on Wailing Hill (Miros)" will be delivered with the scale just like the movie.
Edward Elric and his young brother, Alphonse - they were still on the middle of journey with being tossed about by fateful waves...
The story of bond which is finally told rises the curtain here now.

Hiromu Arakawa's comments on the movie as shown on the Official Movie Website
(Translation of the comment by Tombow here)
From beginning to the end, the movie is filled with one action after another!
And, along with these action scenes, the powerful and dynamic main storyline advances tightly and superbly,
that is sure to deliver everyone a rich movie-going experience!
Yes, I tell you, I really enjoyed these numerous action scenes that are taking advantage of the unique geographical formations of Milos that allowed the action movements to leap in every which way! I had a fine time!
Hiromu Arakawa

Note: Our board staff strongly recommend NOT to read movie story spoilers (except the info shown here) for this movie. We understand that can be said for any movie viewing, but we strongly believe that it is especially paramount for the complete viewing experience for this particular movie. However, those who are curious, reviews with mild spoilers (covered with spoiler covers) written in English by those who had already watched the movie are available here. smile.gif

On the other hand, we strongly recommend reviewing the following movie "bonus" material BEFORE watching the movie:

"Teach Us, Instructor Roy!" videos:

Special additional videos on the movie's official JP site that show additional information for the far Western region of Amestris. The movie's storyline is based on the complicated history of the region with 3-way power struggle among Creta, Milos, and Amestris. This is partially explained in the beginning part of the movie in the form of dialogue between characters, but because the dialogue is spoken fast many audiences seem to fail to catch these explanations fully. Therefore... is it highly recommended to view these three videos (or screencap & translations as linked below) PRIOR TO watching the movie

We can watch these videos on the "special" page on the official movie website. The videos as shown on the website (from left to right) cover "History", "Culture" and "Power". Overall, with these videos we can get essential information regarding these aspects of Milos.

However, videos are in Japanese, and therefore, we made translations with accompanying screencaps.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. finally. and judging from, er, Ed's appearance I guess we can safely say it's a midquel.

Did I understand correctly that there'll also be a trailer?
QUOTE (Riza Ayano @ Nov 12 2010, 10:54 AM) *
New journal from amber1003:amber1003 journal

It's about the title of the movie~ biggrin.gif

Fullmetal Alchemist "The sacred star on Wailing Hill (Miros)"?

Finally, at least a little -something- about the film!

Hopefully some of our friends in Japan will be able to give us a nice little rundown of that trailer in a few days? wink.gif
^ Thank you so much, Riza Ayano for bringing the info!! happy.gif Also, thank you, Amber for the news! ^^

This is the Gyao site that will show the 31 seconds movie promo starting Nov. 15, 2010. (And, yap, only people in Japan can view the promo vid. T.T)

According to the site, Japanese title of the movie is "鋼の錬金術師 嘆きの丘(ミロス)の聖なる星"

tentatively, I'm translating it as..... "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of the Sorrow Mountain (Milos)"

(I assume the Sorrow Mountain= Milos here. ^^)
...I see Amber is wondering about the spelling of "ミロス" also, and tentatively I'm going with the English spelling of "Milos," as in "Venus of Milos." And, "嘆き" can be translated as "sorrow" or "grief," or it can be " walling" as translated by Amber also. Just because the title starts with lots of "s" sound in "Sacred Star," I'm choosing "sorrow" here. XD And, "丘" is usually correctly translated as "hill," but I think in one past episode of Brotherhood it was once translated as "mountain," and just because IMO "Sorrow Mountain" seems to sound better than "Sorrow Hill" I'm using "mountain." xD As I said, this is a tentative title, and we have to wait for the official translation. ^^

Ed in promo pic looks little different from Ed in both anime series. unsure.gif
Anyway, from the title and from Ed in promo pic, assuming this will be a midquel.

So far that's the only information there is on that site. smile.gif
Wow both the title and the image are little strange.

Yeah, we can assume it's a midquel and that it is not connected with Brotherhood (promo art).

I hope it's an original story written by Arakawa.

Waiting impatiently for the trailer. The fact that only japanese can watch it bugs me a little, but I bet we, non-japanese, will get a hold of it sooner or later.
Finally we have some info about the movie! biggrin.gif
The title sounds interesting, and the image is different from the previous artworks. We'll see more in the trailer, hopefully someone from Japan will share it with us. ^^
Misty- Nala
So that's what the movie is supposed to look like... To me, it's like a panel from a Spiderman comic book. I don't know if that is only a rough picture and the movie will look different. Gues we'll have to wait till the trailer. But the title sounds promising. I do hope we get Hughes but I guess it's no use to hope for that to happen.

Is there any info about the voice actors? Will Romi Paku return to her role?
Yay for anti-climatic-ness!!!!

I hope it gets better than that weird name and weird picture 0_o
lol, yeah, that's a little weird, both title and picture, but I'm glad we have something about the movie!
Also, may I remind you all that the first teasers for FMA:Brotherhood weren't all that great, everyone was complaining about Roy's looks, and some other little things with all the other characters... and, afterall, it got better. smile.gif I guess those promos just aren't their strong point, eh? ^^
True, Roy looked terrible and it all turned out all right XDDD
Ah, finally.
Well, it looks like a filler/midquel, considering Ed and Al's forms. Even though it's that, since it's full-length, I'm hoping it'll be promising! And I'm wishing really, really hard that Arakawa-sensei had SOMEthing to do with this.

I hope it has Xingese characters...I want more Ling!

Ed DOES look kinda different...he looks like the Ed in the manga more biggrin.gif I wonder if it'll have a new animation style?
I agree that the title & image are strange. I doubt the image is what the movie will look like at all.

Are we sure this is reliable information?
Okay...I was a bit excited about this movie thing, but after seeing the title and that weird-looking poster thingy...meh, I dunno. Not to rain on anyone's parade or anything, but it sounds really, really weird...and I'm not thrilled that it's filler. I was hoping we'd get a post-Promised Day adventure. =/ But I'm not going to make any firm judgments on it until we get more info, obviously. It's not fair to cut it down before at least giving it a chance.

Just to let you know people, I was just watching Star Driver broadcast on TBS and after the preview for next episode there was the a short promo featuring FMA movie. I can confirm from ....ty keyhole Ed with red coat, some weird winged fellows, and slightly different art , I guess that pic from a few hour ago wasnt that wrong.
Stay alert to video sharing webs if it is uploaded.

EDIT: Managed to get screencap from StarDriver's 2ch thread:

Also the official website is on:
Thanks for the news, RoytheFlameAlchemist! biggrin.gif

The trailer looks nice, but the character design is different from Brotherhood. It's closer to first anime's design.

The VA's are also up on the official site, and I think they're the same as in Brotherhood.

Now we just need to know the story. happy.gif

EDIT: Here's an ANN article about the movie:
I just watched the trailer.
I'm a tad disappointed that it's not post-series, but I'm sure it'll be great. and Ed's eyes are like two different colors at the same time. 0_0
And speaking of an FMA live-action, it's kind of why I'm still even trying in film school. I'm one of those kids with big dreams of making it to Hollywood and it's the first thing I want to do. I honestly think it's all about how you market it. Present it in a Harry Potter like fashion and people won't really take bias because it was an anime at one point. Or at least I'd hope not.
But getting back on topic, I know that I'll love it. It's FMA. Of course I will. And i really want the phone charm that's advertised on the website.
Thank your for the information RoyTheFlameAlchemist! So it does look like the artwork on the GYAO site was indeed original, as it is appearing as the background for the official movie website. I am pleased to read that Paku Romi and Kugimiya Rie are resuming their roles as Edward and Alphonse. I watched the rather brief teaser trailer, and I am intrigued to say the very least- I would really love to get a brief synopsis of what in the world the story is about. The animtation looks like some straight out of a comic-book panel, yet it appears as though Bones is still the studio behind the animation according the staff list.

I still really wish that we had a prequel to the series, what with the back-story of Hoenheim, but it will be curious to see how in the world they are going to handle a "midquel."

Oooh, just noticed that they have Kenishi Konishi from Tokyo Godfather's for the character design I am not terribly sure about the director though...Lelouch of the Rebellion..eep
Wowowow O_O The artstyle looks AWESOME! It's like they crossed the first anime and Brotherhood artstyles.

I'm so happy that the VA are returning for their roles!

I'm not sure about the plot yet, that flying woman (?) looks disturbing.

Awww colored sleeping Ed from Arakawa's artwork <3 And looks like he's gonna get some surprise but**** XD
Hm. I'm not sure how I feel about all this.

Let's start with the art style. It's certainly different. I mean, it's not quite like Brotherhood's, but also not exactly like the first show's. I'd have to see more to make a real assessment about it.

The stuff in the trailer? We have some alchemist who uses electric alchemy and water alchemy, some giant monster wolf chimera, and some armed people on what I can assume are gliders.

The director is different and the script is by a different person.

At least Paku, Kugimiya, and Utsumi are returning, among others. I wonder who's doing the music?
I'm not disappointed,I was expecting it.But I'm upset.(I throw up my anger in another places)
Fact: I'm not excited, story is obvious and it's nonetheless.

Oh poor Roy's opponent is OBVIOUS then.
Talking about jokes, movie will have an amount of them. (old-Edward,Armstron and Roy are in the movie)

You guys are very happy with this so I can only say have fun to you.
I'm so confused, especially the bat-woman with a gun flying and shooting mellow.gif
The art is good, and the music is awesome but...the director...Well, at least he won't let the main characters die (?) like Code Geass.
BTW, the begining of the trailer makes me scared. shock.gif It feels like Ed is going to be kidnapped or something...
Maybe this new alchemist character is a pal of Isaac's.
Woah, woah. I've been out of touch with FMA for a few months, and when I come back, THIS much news pops up! O.o

Anyway, love the art style. It's like the first anime mixed in with Brotherhood, and I like it. And seeing Ed in that outfit again... ah, nostalgia~
Hmm, Edward and a werewolf, Meyer strikes!

In all seriousness, I don't want to judge based on what I have seen, but it seems peoples theory of it being almost like one of the "game stories" is most accurate. In the middle of things, disconnected from the greater story.

All in all, I'm not sure I'm all too fussed about seeing it.

(I found the teaser on YouTube; bad quaity, no sound. Saw the pics from RoytheFlameAlchemist, thanks!)

I've always prefered Brotherhood-style, so meh. But Riza loos better like this! Not the gigant eyes anymore, and more slanted! Actually, the second she is on screen, is like the best part pf the trailer! XD And Ed's "I'm the Fullmetal Alchemist" speech in the end, his eyes look great! But his hair is like the first anime!! D:
Although a bit part of what I didn't like with first anime's style was the low-positioned mouths, and how far apart the eyes were, and I don't see much of that in the teaser, so yey!

But, yeah, werewolfs? o.O

Gonna miss human!Al, but I suspected that we were going to get something from the years they searched for the stone, they creators get a lot to play with. Ed's gonna be short again!! laugh.gif

And they're not gonna release it the 3rd October?? I thought that was such a good opportunity...
Anomia Grey
Werewolves? Well, that's still better than vampires biggrin.gif Or maybe we'll get some of those too? Judging from the randomness of CoS, who knows, but I say that's a good thing.

Also, making a midquel is very smart marketing-wise, since it would also appeal to fans of the first series. I wonder if they weren't specifically aiming for that with the FMA1-ish character design.

I'm astounded they've worked so fast. It took ages for anything at all to leak out on the Trigun movie.

I quite like the Babel-type building. Funny that apart from the balloon in CoS we don't see the Amestrians possessing any kind of flight technology, and the first thing we get is....girls with batwings xD
They look like the wings are for gliding. I doubt there's any propulsion going on. Hopefully not, anyway. It's a little much for Amestrian technlogy.

I agree. And, to be commercially successful, I think the movie also have to appeal to those who have not seen FMA anime, neither the first series, or Brotherhood as well. As much as I would love to see more FMA manga specific contents, if this movie can be enjoyed by FMA fans from any series, as well as non-FMA fans, then that will be good to see also. smile.gif I just hope it has a good story! ^^

QUOTE (Anomia Grey @ Nov 14 2010, 09:49 AM) *
I wonder if they weren't specifically aiming for that with the FMA1-ish character design.

Possibly. I noticed that the Japanese "Fullmetal Alchemist" logo for the movie is more closely resembling to the logo for the first series/FMA manga than to FMA:Brotherhood logo.

(Maybe it's kind of hard to see unless you can read Chinese characters, but anyway, these are the logos... ^^)
FMA Movie "Sacred Star" logo: (It looks close to FMA manga logo...)

FMA-1/FMA manga logo:
Saw the trailer.

The new designs are going to take some getting used to. I'm so used to the warmer, rounder style of Brotherhood; this harsher and more angular look is a bit different.

Looks like it is a "midquel"; I was looking forward to more of a postscript a la CoS (but better than CoS). The flying army at the end looked cool but I'm not sure they really fit in the world of FMA.
The new animation style looks like a mixture between the first anime, BH, and the manga. Which I can get used to, I guess, but I've always liked BH/manga style...meh. I'm not liking Ed's dirty-blond hair color too much (ugh).

But Ed's eyes are very pretty! smile.gif

There ARE more characters than just the ones listed for the voice actors...right? I mean, the characters that we already know from BH aside from the ones listed...

I'm hoping it's not the predictable type of movie that's just action-based and that it is heart-warming as well and actually sends out a message to the fans. ><

I think the art style is very similar to the manga, and I like that. I don't think it'll be hard for me to get used to. As for its status as a filler, well, that's okay by me. I, personally, was very satisfied by the ending of the manga and I was hoping it wouldn't be a sequel; there's no real need for one.

As long as the story has some depth and isn't just a whole lot of action and Nazis, I think I'll like this movie. I'm definitely looking forward to watching it.

It's actually kind of interesting that it seems to have no ties to either's like its supposed to be a movie for the manga itself.

Same here. I'll like the movie as long as the story is good and the characters are IC. Also, was thinking the same thing in that this seems to be a stand alone story of sorts, which is fine as I would like to see some side adventures the brothers went through.
Though I'd like a little more information, I have to say that I loved what I saw in the trailer, and that I am really, really excited. Maybe I'm all alone in my boat, but the wait for next summer is going to be a long one for me. D:

The trailer looks okay. It's very difficult to tell anything since it is so short. Art style... I dunno. It's not Brotherhood. Maybe more like a mix between the manga and Anime 1. Anime 1 is never a bad thing happy.gif

Despite what was shown in the opening, I don't believe Ed is going to be kidnapped. Of course, the fan girl in me would enjoy it tremendously but I don't think the writers will go for it.
Yet, if that "forbidden bonds" is a correct translation then it can very much be about Ed being kidnapped. Maybe it will be a Roy/Ed parental *shudders at the mere thought*. I really don't want to be forming any theories on the limited basis we have. I'm only happy to say Romi is going to be Edward once again ( she is never going to able to wear off the mark of being Edward Elric, poor girl).

I just hope this isn't going to be a major let-down like Brotherhood was.

I admit that I was a little disappointed at first, since I was hoping for a movie that tied into the manga somehow, but now I'm thinking this kind of stand-alone story is probably the better way to go - this way it can appeal to fans of any adaptation and even non-fans can see it and not be spoiled or confused.

Personally, I'm not a really big fan of anime-only fillers, since this can sometimes lead to things that would not be really possible in the FMA universe or just things that don't really "fit". Don't get me wrong though, I'm still excited and I'm hoping it'll be great. I agree that as long as there's some depth, scenarios that fit into the FMA world, that it's not just about the action, and everyone's in character and all that, I think I'll like it.

For a minute I thought that this would take place in the anime1 universe, since the style looks a lot like the first anime, but it also looks a bit like a blend of the manga/Brotherhood too. I guess it's another way to appeal to the fans of both, to make it look like it could be a part of either one.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but does anyone know what the text under the "Introduction" on the official site says?

Here's the translation:
My most honest opinion: I love how this movie looks.

Yeah, it's not what we expected, but it's not bad either. I mean, Yeah there's been like 6 versions of the same story already but having a spin-off/seperate series wouldn't be bad. And who knows, remember this? CoS kinda looked the same.

His Name is Unknown
Just finished watching the trailer.

...can't say it stuck me as either horrible or exceptional, despite the fact that unlike some posters on this thread, I have no objections to a midquel plot line. Honestly, my enjoyment of this movie will depend almost entirely on its execution. We all know the source material is worthwhile, but if the feature film continues the jokey tone and (to me) jarringly vivid art style of Brotherhood, I will be disappointed.

I loved the anime one and CoS for their beautiful, minimalist, art style and mature direction, and while I continue to hope for a return to form with this film, my excitement toward the project has reached an all-time low. Gone are the days when bearing the the brand name Fullmetal was a guarantee of quality and depth. Brotherhood, and to a lesser extent, the end of Arakawa's manga, have inflicted irreparable harm to my perception of this series and its characters. As such, my expectations for this project will remain low. sleep.gif
I thought the trailer looked interesting. But I want more information. I do think a midquel has potentail. Especially if the writer and director are passoniate about the project, and not just making the movie for money.

A characters section has been added to the official site:

I hope a new teaser/trailer would be released soon. I'm hoping for one on Sunday (a month after the first one)

A Pierrot's Aria
Thanks, hilary!

It's looking pretty intense! That must be L'arc en Ciel's song playing in the background. laugh.gif

|/ETA: Yeah, the trailer didn't reveal too much, and the beginning did look strangely reminiscent of the first episode of FMA:B. And I'm the last person people would ask to stick up for L'arc en Ciel, but I'm withholding judgement of the song until I hear a clear, full version of it. And judgement of the movie will obviously wait until I've watched that, too. xD

Both trailer and song are just meh. They don't encourage me to watch the movie too much.

The plot reminds me of the first episode of FMA:B and first PS2 game mixed together.
Finally we have new trailers! I agree that the plot seems to be similar to the first episode of Brotherhood and the PS2 games, but I still hope that we'll see a good movie.

And the website now has the official spelling of the new characters' names:
Julia Crichton and Melvin Voyager

A Pierrot's Aria
That's a brilliant image, Michiyo-! Thank you for sharing it! tongue.gif It seems like Roy is the teacher, which reminds me of the recent duscussion in the HawkeyexRoy thread. laugh.gif Looking at Ed and Ling reminds me of when I used to sneak a quick bite of food during class. (Although they're both being pretty obvious about it!) laugh.gif
HERE IS THE NEW TRAILER!!! *-* I can't wait!!! ohmy.gif
