I get the vibe that Ed is a bachelor type of guy. He doesn't know much about romance, and is much more focused on his goals to let girls distract him. Which is fine with me, I mean, it seems like the Who has a Crush on Whom hierarchy is far too dominant in manga and anime. Without it they can focus more on the action and suspense, without considering the Who Likes Who part of it- like in Naruto. We'll get to see more of their true personality.

Hmmm! EdxWinry is good pairing, but I don't like Winry. Ed x Lust could be a wonderful pair too. I love them!. Ed and Al is cool too, but they are brothers. EdxEnvy is my fave yaoi pairing!

When it comes to yaoi pairings I can't say that I don't like them, because that would be a huge lie XD

It just depends on anime/manga characters. In FMA I don't support any male x male pairing. I like Ed x Roy, Ed x Al or Ed x Envy but in fact I support Ed x Winry. They're like OTP in this series, just like RoyAi and nothing is gonna change it

I hope Ed will end up with Winry (however, I don't like her very much XD) because they complete each other very much~!

Winry, definitely. It's almost auto. Even though in the anime they look like siblings, still, in my mind when I saw them in the manga, it's like "ooh such a cute couple" and I can't help myself.

I am usually not a shipper, but EdXWinry is quite obvious. They would be a good couple and people in that thread have posted some stuff that can prove it.

Also, all those EdXRoy, EdXAl stuff sucks. FMA is not yaoi and it's definitely not incest yaoi. I've read some terrible EdXRoy fanficition in which Ed appeared to be pregnant ;c . Also, how do people imagine Al having sex with anyone? He is armor :< .

I know that EdxWin is the most obvious one... but, at least in the anime, Winry and Ed seem to me more like siblings or childhood friends. I kind of have a hard time imagining them loving each other like... that.
But in the manga it leans more towards EdxWin.

Well, the first anime was much different from manga, which was the original storyline. In Brotherhood, EdXWin is suggested.
