Oh, oh yes. the story of Prétear in the manga is very different. I now manged to read it.. Takako was just mentioned. Also.. But Sasame is much more of a playboy in the manga So maybe it's just his actions that speak against him. Oh and I wouldn't be so sure about Himeno either. She seemed to have feelings for both guys
There weren't really much twists in general.. There wasn't really much action, and it was kind of cuter.. I don't know. I liked the manga, but I must say I liked the anime more (that rarely happens. FMA is the other exception) . More twists and surprises. Those previous ones were pretty obvious. It seems to be the with the same chracters, same idea, smae themes, but sort of different story... also Himeno préts with all the knights...(I think they left Shin out in the anime... but he didn't have the summoning thing to do in the manag)

Kei.. well he didn't strike me as much of a narcist, but maybe that's because I'm used to the other one? He's more of an intelligent know it all . But that's cute. I like him more in the manga. About Sasame I'm not sure... I like both versions. And he's not a pushover . Mayune (that's who you mean, right?) dragged all the older boys to the bathroom.. so... With Takako.. okay maybe a little.

When everything "finally ends" Go is with the kids, Hayate with Himeno (duh) and Kei and Sasame are futher away(all the others, besides Shin are where the "action" takes place) at some place where Kei can make Sasame's voice ring everywhere Also he looks at Sasame in a way that could mean anything the time when he's talking about love and regret (that's then at that place... drat.. what place was it... the studio?).

Go and Mannen.. I believe that Mannen refers to their argument as a lover quarrel Or something or other...

They seemed pretty much to agree on everything, although of course Kei wanted to tell Himeno about the past, and Sasame didn't. Kei won in the end (meaning...) but when Sasame wanted Kei to take over the airwaves (in the end) so that he could broadcast his voice, he agreed anyway even though he thought it was dumb.. Kei has the amazing ability of keeping Sasame's "angsty side" down. When he got close to that, he slapped him .. (I can't believe I never mentioned that before).. would have done him good in the anime .
I have to rethink... mangawise Kei and Sasame are the semes, but maybe Kei would be more.... ( I can't get that slapping image out of my head )

Yup, I read the manga, twice actually. And I really liked it the second time more. I like the two individual stories... the idea what could have happened if Sasame got the chance to fix his mistakes, but also the part about how some mistakes can't be corrected and you have to move on...

really? i actually don't, renji-rukia is just a friendship to me, and i see ichigo/rukia as much more canon and they just click so much better, and they have more potential for romance. rukia shows a lot more affection for ichigo that could be interpreted as "romantic affection," in my opinion

I actually like the two storylines. It's like they show two different ways how the events ould have occured. The anime shows what would happend if Sasame got to fix his mistake... In the manga it's moving on.. (I like that more kind of.. because of the SasamexKei possibilities... but I still like the anime more)
I usually like the anime and manga to be the same, because I get all confused otherwise.. the manga is the "real" version, but I like to think of the anime as one too. I don't know any other anime that changed certain characters so drastically
I like manga Kei more... Don't know.. maybe it's his compatibility with sasme and narcists scare me.. but appearance wise... he doesn't have to look so much like Sasame

Hehe, Photoshop's a program like Paint and Gimp. It specializes in image-editing. Well, anything to do with images really. Most people use it because it's much supeerior to Pain and/or GIMP, but it's tough to use and costs plenty.

My friend just finished the volumes and she didn't even notice any hints. I was apalled! When I said that Sasame and Kei belong together she was shocked, because she thought that all the knights were brothers.

Yeah, Kei has to care otherwise he wouldn't be Leafe Knight. And since he's based on the manga version, I know he is like that. The only difference is that he likes himself a lot more (compared to the manga). And in the manga he's very caring.. Especially towards Sasame (the kiddies get on his nerves there too). Like the time when Sasame was sick ... also he was mad at the "brats" for leaving him unattended (yeah he was worried about Sasame, although it could have been also that he was just mad at them for disobbeying orders)
I also like the way he says things like they are. It's better to spare people from suffering in the future and just get it over with.

I like the battle outfits in the manga more.. I don't know why... I can't remember the other clothes... I remember paying attention to how well designed they were. I wish I had such imagination.
