Rai looked at Reuel seriously for once. "I-Im kinda sort from the truth..." She said, trying to keep lunar from falling down. "I kinda sorta have a arm from lunar... and a leg from Edward.... and insides from a lady called Izumi and many other people" She said before dropping lunar and slowly backing away from everyone. Rai began to panic. "And um, i wasnt supposed to tell anyone that... and now... oh wow look at y wrist i kinda gotta go and..... uh.... clean my house bye!" She said before running off. "Dont bother to pay me back shane, i know what your thinking and its payment for not freaking out when i grabbed your hand and giving me a few limbs..." She said before regretting her last few words.

"How exactly did you get to this world, and how long have you been here? I know somethings wrong but nothing can help without it. I know enough from my heavy studies to find a way to work out what you are exactly, there might be something beyond what you know and see yourself as." a serious expression resided on my face as I continued. "the philosophers stone, immortality, resurrection, all of it has been the root of alchemy, but the gate can't fill up forever, or at the very least, must purge some of what does not belong. So I need to know, how did you get here and how long?"

i grabed Rai's arm to stop her, "there is no reason to run, no one here is mad at u nor want to hurt, we came here to stop running from ower past and fight for wat we know is right, so please don't go." i stared at her with soft grey eyes "we all have somthing were not pride of so its ok we know how u feel inside Rai"

ow ow, that hurt you know Rai, well lets go to the Alchemy Exam *walk off but someone bumps Lunar making her Philoshper Stone fall out with out her knowing* Hey watch it *the guy pick up the stone and runs off* Streches*

Rai pulled away from shane and stood, facing away from everyone. "Being stuck in the gate isnt fun, if you have enough energy and power to live in the real world you can make it out" Rai said as she threw another vial at Shanes arm. Shane looked to see his arm skin regenerating faster. Rai began to walk off again. "Im going for exams, i need to be around some top notch alchemy to clear a clot in my veins, seeyou guys there" she said as she turned into a bird and flew off. "Im not going very well with this...." Rai thought to herself. "Whats even worse is that i have the souls of the lost too" she thought as she flew towards the alchemy exams.

claps my hands and makes my automail back to normal, if the price to feel is to hurt someone then i shall not take it, i look to the others. "lets get going the exam not gona take it self right".

"some part of the puzzle is missing, but regardless, we can talk about this a bit later, the exams close in about half an hour, best to get there now before it's too late," I continued as the serious expression left my face, "besides, the line should be gone now, at least mostly, so we can head straight in. It's so convenient the exams are right next door, the government building's there you know..."*smiles nervously* "let's just go before it's too late, make sure you're practiced!"

Oh i have, i've even know what im gonna do to try and get in, it should, its epic hehehe *runs off* LETS GO!

"well don't start without us, we'll be there soon." As i ran up behind lunar i whispred into her ear, "and don't use the stone." Returning to normal conversation, I said "and... wait, is it, yes i think tha- Oh my god the lines empty RUN!"

Rai was waiting nervously infront of central command, trying to go inside but hesitating.She had changed her dress to a light blue one and was trying to hide from the others though she stuck out even more. "Ok, i can do this" she muttered to herself as she walked in the gate finally to be run over my the others behind her. "Ouch... that hurt" she said as she tried to pick herself off the floor. The others looked down. "Sorry!" SAid lunar as she picked Rai up off the ground. Rai thanked lunar and brushed herself off. "You guys ready for the exam?" she asked as she started to walk

I stood behind everyone as took off my jacket showing my tanktop, "now for the exam, i wil give it my all and pass". I waited to go in.

One of the guards towered above us, i could hardly believe he was actually this tall. He appeared to be at least 2 metres in height, with a small amount of golden hair, brandishing menacing iron gloves on his hands. "err, should we ask to go in?" I attempted to whisper to the group. Then the figure moved as if he'd heard. "oh, so your here for the state alchemist exams are you?" his menacing bulk grumbled, despite seeming enthusiastic and happy, "go right in, i myself am a state alchemist. Major Alex Louis Armstrong! the strong arm alchemist, With artistic alchemy, a skill passed down through the Armstrong Family for generations!"*sparkles while ripping off shirt*
"ummm, that's nice... we'll just - go in now... yeah...."I replied, nothing else i could say anyway.

O.O um yeah Mister Armstrong we gonna go now ok, *Lunar starts in the walking the direction of the Exams* Thew he was scary He was Almost as tall as Alphonse

i follow keeping my gaze on armstrong, i had never seen someone so tall in my life but i had to stay focses for my exam. "i wounder what the exam gona be on" i thought to myself.

Well, lets go take the State Alchemist Exam, Now...OH BOY I CANT WAIT

(note: i think this is turning into an open chat between these characters and i'm the only one driving the story, I'd like to see some more detailed responses! and god-modding of npc characters is fine)

A voice called out from within the building, "Ah, more members? heh, most of the good alchemists came through already, but even then, it's going to be tough to get through for a few kids, in some of your cases." despite the lights not yet coming on I could imagine a smirk creeping across his face to match the voice. with a jolt the trches were lit to reveal a bored looking official. "take the exam and give me something spectacular, i haven't been interested all day - only gave out one watch so far," he continued, "have you got the skills to break my boredom and prove you deserve a watch?" a sinister smile crept along his cheeks.
I began to feel a little bit spooked, I'd never been in this situation. "well guys, I'll meet you outside, tell me how you went," I whispered over to the group. "hmm, you look interesting, how about you go first?" the officials words shocked me. "umm, sure, heheheh, uh okay, here goes," I replied nervously. i had no idea what to expect, and i was clearly nervous and distressed.

I stood and watch hopeing to catch anything tips on what to do, i whispered to lunar "do u know what we r to do in this exam lunar, cause i have no clue".

Rai looked at Reuel as he walked off into the room with the official. She started to shiver nervously. "Do your best!" She shouted to Reuel Nervously as the Major that they met at the gate walked over to them. He started to pat her on the back. "DONT WORRY! THIS BACK PATTING RELAXATION METHOD HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THE ARMSTRONG LINE FOR MANY GENERATIONS!!!" Shouted the Major. Rai was surprisingly relaxed while everyone stared at the major after his outburst.
"Thankyou Major" Rai said, still shaking a tiny bit. "Do you guys know what we have to do at all?" She asked Lunar and Shane. Rai looked towards the large establishment and wondered on the progress of Reuel when he emerged. "Reuel! How did you go?" Asked Rai happily

"eheh..." I started, an uneasy smile growing across my face, "I kind of, uh, failed." I revealed the sheet with the note written in bold red ink 'not battle appropriate'. "next up -" the official from within stated plainly, "- Rai, I believe. Please enter and take your position for the exam." now it was my turn to be worried about someone elses results. "good luck," I called out to Rai as she entered the building, no disappointment from my results evident in my voice.

Rai shook as she walked, each step misplaced and swaying from side to side. The Call of encouragement from Reuel made her feel a bit better. She looked up at the official taking her to the exam room. "Is The test hard?" Rai asked nervously. The official looked down on her with a wicked smile, "Depends on your skills" He said, not having answered Rai's Question the way she had wanted. Rai and the official kept walking until they reached a large room. "Welcome new alchemist, do you have what it takes to be a alchemist like Colonel Mustang?" The Voice rang out as Rai looked at the official, clearly taking pride in the words of the voice. A Figure emerged. "So young alchemist, your first task is to impress us with some type of alchemy, then if you can do that..... we might have ourselves a battle" Said the person. Colonel Mustang saluted, "It would be a honor to battle Fuhrer King Bradely" He said, Rai shook again, "A battle..." She thought. "I cant do a battle can I?" She continued as the colonel pushed her forward. "Go on, impress me" the colonel said.

I waited for turn, I still didn't know wat the exam were about but i had to trust in my skills. I watch the time past by hopeing Rai was doing good, i had to admit i was alittle worry about her, I took out a little black book and started reading it to find somthing to get me through the exam.

Rai emerged from the Exam room, still shaking. "I half passed..." She said as she tried to keep her footing. Colonel Mustang continued to escort her out. Rai held out a sheet of paper that read "Is able to be used as a backup state alchemist". "It means I can be a state alchemist if needed, but its also a fail" Rai said as she managed to stand up straight. Colonel Mustang turned to face Shane. "Your Turn" Called the Colonel to Shane. Rai sat over next to Lunar and drew a transmutation circle in the ground. She forced her palm into the circle and started rapidly transmuting the ground into various things. She had made a doll of Herself, which she then deconstructed and used to make dolls of everyone else, deconstructing and reconstructing several times. She finally settled on a doll and duplicated it. She stood up and handed a copy of the doll to Shane before handing them out to Lunar and Reuel. "Its a good luck charm, it hasnt got alchemy in it but itll keep good luck with you. Lunar looked at the doll to see it was a doll of all of them altogether.

I took the doll and place it in my pocket, "thank u Rai" I said softly, then followed Colonel Mustang into da room. Afew hoours had pass when i walked out da room with my tank top riped and blood on my face, i tried to find place to sit fast but fell as i tried to walk out da door.

Rai looked to Shane and ran over. "You ok?" She asked, trying to clean him up. She pulled out a piece of cloth and began to clean him off a bit. "Mr Mustang, He'll be ok yeah?" Rai asked as she stared up at the Colonel. He ignored her and called for the next person. "Lunar, your turn" He said as he walked past Shane and Rai over to lunar. Rai grabbed part of shanes shirt and begain to fix it. "You didnt do anything dangeous in there did you? And most importantly did you pass?" Rai asked with earnest.

I hand her my paper saying pass on they very top of the page, "i showed my skills and I had a little battle but I lost the battle" I said in tired voice. "I didn't know Colonel was soo strong, my training has nothing on how he trains, maybe i should try and gets some training tips from him it might help me improve" i said to myself.

"Geez, brother," Alphonse sighed, footsteps clanking alongside Edward's as they approached the gates of Central Command. "Count on you to get us lost. It's called 'Central Command' for a reason, you know..."

"Oh shut up," grumbled Ed. "I just...felt like taking the scenic route, that's all."

Al snorted. "Sure. Whatever you say."

The vast, cool shadow of the building fell over them as they passed through and Edward shivered...though whether it was from the cold or the horrible what-ifs that had suddenly risen in his mind, he couldn't tell. He stopped in his tracks just in front of the stairs, chewing slightly on his lower lip, and stared at the towering doors up ahead of them. The doors that held their future.

It wasn't the thought of being the military's dog that held him back. He'd gladly chain himself to anything if it meant there was a chance to restore his brother. But everything rested on this chance. He couldn't stand the thought of failing the exam (failing Al, again) and wasting more precious time studying up to retake it (as if he hadn't wasted enough already). He couldn't fail. He wouldn't.

But what if he did?

"Al?" His tone was small, questioning, like a nervous 12-year-old boy who wanted to know if everything would be alright.

And Al understood. His echoing voice was warm and calm and filled with unwavering certainty.

"You'll pass. I have faith in you, brother."

It was all Edward needed to hear. Inhaling a deep breath, he climbed up the stairs in firm strides, with resolution in every step and the reassuring clattering sounds of Alphonse following behind him.

When they reached the top, Edward caught sight of a brunette girl in a blue dress, fussing over a young man with striking red and black hair. He vaguely remembered seeing them both on the train earlier. Are they here for the exam, too? he wondered, flesh and automail hands stuffed in the pockets of his leather pants as he stopped next to them. Guess I'm not the only kid crazy enough to try it...

His train of thought was instantly lost when he noticed the blood on the young man's face.

"Whoa. What happened to you?"

My college classes are getting really intense again, and I feel bad about not keeping up more with the RP. >.< So I'm going to leave with this and let a more competent person pick up Edward and Alphonse from here. "Did you get into a fight?" He asked as he took a cloth from Rai's Hand. Alphonse stared at Shane with worry. "Is This what Brother will have to go through?" he thought as the cries of Rai and Ed Arguing filled his helmet. "He Keeps Bleeding!!!" Rai shouted in anger. She suddenly facepalmed. "Ow...." She said as she moved her hand off her face. She took the pin from her pocket and pricked her finger again. She took a drop of her "Blood" And placed it on Shane. "Is it working?" She asked.

To answer your question, EdokunEdo is asking you to post part of the RP story (what the other participants of this RP have been posting so far). As in, just place your character into the story and keep the story moving along. I believe EdokunEdo is saying that you should keep in mind that this RP has been going on for a while now; while you're posting, just be be aware of what is happening/what has already happened in the RP (so that you can help everyone with moving the story along too) and you should be fine.

I walked on the rocks along the side of the river, which flows right next to the forest. I watched the fish swim through the crystal water, and jump out and back into it. "I wonder where I'm going to find myself today." I said to myself. When I walked, I always ended up somewhere. Either bumping into other travelers, or finding myself in another town.

(Thanks Razzy for clearing that up, you got my idea Scarlet just keep in mind we have ben doing this for a long time and you will understand the story better if you reread the story from the beginning)

Rai stood up and took a step back from shane to give him some breathing space. "Lunar!" She called, "Quit spacing out and go with the Colonel!" Lunars attention snappedback into place as she walked off with the Colonel. "Good Luck! And dont die please!" Rai called. Lunar span around and stuck her tongue out at her. Rai smiled to herself as Lunar entered the large room. "If You die, try to keep the mess small" Rai caleed again Jokingly. "Shut Up" Lunar replied, sticking out her tongue again.

Lunar and Roy Mustang Emerged from the Exam Room, Mustang Carrying a piece of paper. He waved it above her head, teasingly. "Come on Miss Lunar, If you cant reach this, how can you become a state alchemist?" He Said as Lunar jumped higher. "Hand it over!" Shouted Lunar as she jumped again and again. Rai walked over and Leant on Lunar. "Geez, so short, Its not hard to reach that paper" Said Rai as she reached her arm up near the paper. Lunar looked at Rai. "Can you pass me the paper?" She asked, starry eyed. Rai looked at lunar kindly. "No" Rang the answer, smashing Lunars starry eyed gaze. Rai began to pat Lunar on the Head and reach for the paper.

I stayed where i was, stared at the paper still not believing that i had pass. I a smile crept on my face "i finely did it, no more studying" i said to myself. I stood up and walks outside into the cool air and breath softly.

Looks/Appearance: has dark brown hair that is a combed back but still puffs out a bit (making him look like a mad scientist), blueish green eyes, and a rugged beard/mustache combo. Wears a long, black trench coat (think a mix between Equilibrium with Christian Bale and Vash the stampedes), a grey Fedora and black, circular, wire rim sunglasses (think John Lennon and Ozzy). Under the coat is a dark green shirt and grey pants, held up by a brown belt. between the shirt and the coat is a shoulder holster. on one side is a 44. magnum revolver and on the other side is two speed loaders. he knows how to use both very efficiently. as for footwear, he wears simple shoes, which he transmuted to be tough and have a large amount of traction. his hand to hand weapon of choice is attached to his belt: a special straight razor (barbers knife) that can be swung to open and locks in place to be used in combat.
Personality: He is kind, and understanding in both logical, and emotional reasoning and will choose whichever suits the situation better. Some call him insane because of his looks and his maniacal grin, but will always do the right thing. All that needs to be done is to ask him for help, and if it is not asked for, he will do it anyway without anyone even knowing.
Extra Info: Is very proficient with his sidearm but prefers hand to hand. His specialty in alchemy is sound manipulation through the vibrations of molecules in the air.

ENTER: *as i walk down the hallway towards the examination room, the hallway primarily empty* great...i'm already late for the show...i was really hoping to see Mustang knock some heads around today..oh well, i'll just have to settle for whats left. *i round a corner to see a small group around Colonel Mustang. I reach my right hand out of my pocket and raise it as a signal to him* Hey Mustang! did i miss anything good? *i say in a calm voice, my eyes hiding behind my sunglasses and my face stoic except for the half grin on my face, only putting my hand back in my pocket when i reach him*

"Damit roy" I Said jumping up to try and grab the paper "give it here" Roy Taunting me with tha paper lowering it then quickly bringing it back, i manage to touch it a few time then Grab it "yes i got it, Rai i got it without your help" I Yelled As i Poked my Tounge out. As i go to sit down i slip and land on my Butt, still holding the Papers "Ow, i hate when that Happens."

Rai picked up Lunar by the feet and dangled her upside down. She looked over at the newcomer who had called to Roy. "Hey There" She said as she waved, dropping lunar on her head. Rai began to introduce herself while avoiding a flurry of alchemy and kicks and punches. "I Am Rai, the person failing at beating me up is Lunar, we have Reuel over there as well as Shane" Rai said as she pointed over there. Lunar landed one punch on Rai. "Reversal!" Rai shouted as Lunars fist came flying back at her face. Rai did a tiny victory dance then went back to helping Lunar. Rai ran straight up to the new guy. "Come! come take the exam! We all did!" Rai said enthusiastically.

"RAI YOU LITTLE GRRRRRR" i Said as she was rubbing her head "That hurt" I finley noticed the newbi " Huh Oh Hey there" I said as i walk over to the Newbi Smiling " dont mind me im not always so mad, Rai just droped me on my head" i said as i looked at Rai. "Rai Say your sorry" Looks a little sad " Please say sorry it would be nice an would make me feel better."

*let out a small chuckle, my smile widening across my face* well i would, but you see, i past the test last year *grasp onto the state pocket watch with my right hand as i pull it out, stopping just outside of my pocket, the crest displayed upwards as it rests in my hand* Allow me to introduce myself... I am major Nathan Mordecai, otherwise known as the silence alchemist. Not that you HAVE heard of me...few people have after all. *I place the watch back in my pocket*

I placed my shirt on and walked back to the grouped and looked at Nathan, "i heard of u, aren't u the one who took out a group that was going to blow up central last month?" I stood and waited for an answer and fix my mess up black and red hair.

*My smile faded quickly as i turned my head towards the one called Shane, my eyes glaring at him over the top of my glasses* I have no idea what your talking about....besides, even if i did, i certainly wouldn't be talking about it now.... *I push my glasses up with my right pointer finger* lLet me give you a little bit of advice...when you've done things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...do you understand me? *i stand there, my finger still pressed against the bridge of my glasses looking to see what the groups response would be*

Rai looked at the two, swappign back and forth between the two as they had a stalemate. She Clapped as an idea came into her head. "So... Any tips on how to study for the exam Nathan?" she began to ask before realising that she had starped a transmutation, only needing to touch something. She Ran around in circles. "Crap! Find me something to transmute Lunar!" She shouted as the two of them panicked. Everyone stared at her with a "Transmute the floor doofus" Look on their faces. Rai tried to hit herself in the head for an idea. Lunar quickly shoved a stick she found right infront of Rai's Forehead. A Alchemic reaction occured as her hand came into contact with the stick. Rai fell to the floor and looked at Lunar. "Have I Ever told you how awesome you are? Coz if I didn't, you're heaps awesome!" She said as she ran up to Lunar for a hug, Sticking herself to Lunar.

*I take my hand down from my glasses and place it back in my right pocket, my eyes glaring behind the dark shades* I don't give tips.... besides, with that childish attitude, i doubt you'll even have a chance, even though you can transmute without a circle. Now, continue with your exams. *i say straightening my back and holding my head up high*

Rai began to drag Lunar further away from Nathan. "Put me down!" Lunar whinged as she squirmed. Rai stopped a long distance from Nathan. "Cold, Cold man" She said as she stopped at a comfortable distance. Rai sat down for a small amount of time befre shouting "Think fast Nathan!" She threw a Knife at Nathan. As the knife went whirling towards Nathan the ground also began to move upwars in a spike, following the path of the kinfe.

*I pull my left hand out of my left coat pocket, revealing that my hand was made of automail, and there was a transmutation circle on the back of it. I quickly aimed the palm of my metal hand towards the spikes and the knife and smacked the back of my automail hand with my flesh hand, causing the tuning fork hidden inside of it to vibrate, and also causing the circle to activate. A shockwave of sound, directed my my palm, blasted out , knocking the knife off of its course and away, and the ground spikes disintegrated as they encountered the shockwave. When the sound dissipated i stood there, still holding out my hand.* don't trifle with me... my title may be silence but i assure you, i can be quite the opposite *I reach back, holding my arm straight up, my hand at eye level and the circle on the back displayed* Would you like to know how my alchemy works? are you intrigued with its power?

Rai smiled "Good to see that title isnt just making mountains out of molehills, you have some skills on you" She said. She walked back over to Nathan and grabbed his automail hand. "Iv seen a lot of stuff, but this is still cool" She said as she examined the circle and pulled out her knife. She toyed with his automail, trying to figure out what it consisted of. "Say, would you do me the honor of granting me a battle?" She asked as she showed Nathan her pass sheet. "I Passed the exam but just barely, I wanna see if i can make a better impression in a battle" A Smile crept onto her face while speaking.

*speachless* "Uno He is Scary Rai" Walks over and looks at his automail, "who is your Automail Machenic" I said as i pull up my sleave on my right arm, I turn back to face Rai "HEY RAI!!!! COME OVER HERE, HES NOT THAT SCARY UP CLOSE!!!!" i yelled "Hey you seem like a cool guy, i hope we can be friends, Hmmm Ah" Puts on Neko mimi And A tail "Hey Rai" Runs over a puts Neko Mimi And Tail On Rai " hehe Now we're both Neko, Nyah!"

*my cheeks puff up holding in my amusement for a moment until i break out laughing, bending over forwards. after a few seconds, i stop and stand up a bit straighter.* well, to be honest, my mechanic past away last month and i haven't been able to find a mechanic who understands the particular assets needed to maintain or replace it. you see, its a purely custom design. here are the schematics *i pull out a large folded up piece of paper from the satchel that hung on my side* i keep them on me at all times in case i find a mechanic... thank god i've been taking extra good care of my hand, otherwise, i wouldn't be able to perform my particular alchemy *i say with a slightly happier tone*
