~ July 2010 is "Hiromu Arakawa Appreciation Month" on our board!! ~

Hello fellow board members, ^^
We are happy to announce that our board has designated July 2010 to be "Hiromu Arakawa Appreciation Month" on our board!!

As you know, FMA manga has recently concluded it's 9 years and 108 chapters of amazing journey with it's final chapter on July 2010 issue of YoungGanGan magazine (came out on June 11, 2010) in Japan.

- As an interesting side note, those of you who have pre-ordered this issue of YoungGanGan magazine through Amazon.com, etc., and therefore was able to obtain the issue, consider your self very lucky, because, as it turned out, the magazine has been sold out quickly, and there is no more stocks left, and many of FMA manga fans in Japan have not had a chance to read the final chapter of FMA yet! Hence, the publisher has decided to REPRINT the final chapter of FMA manga on the upcoming September issue of YoungGanGan magazine (comes out on Aug. 12, 2010) in it's entirety!! Those of you who have missed the chance to pre-order July issue of YoungGanGan magazine with FMA manga chapter 108, don't miss this chance!! ^^

On the TV front, FMA:Brotherhood anime, the newest FMA anime series that is based on FMA manga storyline, will have the broadcasting of the series final episode, episode 64 this Sunday July 4, 5:00 PM in Japan, and for North American viewers we are expecting to be able to view the official English subbed version of the episode on Funimation site by next Thursday, July 8, 2010, and similar viewing options with varying schedules for viewers in other parts of the world (where possible) as well.

Therefore, our board is declaring the month of July 2010 to be our "Hiromu Arakawa Appreciation Month" and holding "Thank-you Hiromu Arakawa" fanart contest, "Send Thank-you letters to Arakawa-sensei, the start of "Re-reading of FMA all over again!" sessions, and other varying events. Hope you can join us in celebrating the conclusion of these wonderful series, and expressing our appreciations for this amazing author of FMA manga series!
