I almost died of laughter when I read that. So true about a shounen winning a romance contest! I bet half the fans will find this hilarious and the other half with grumble and say, "This proves FMA was too mushy at the end" (when in fact it's just a story that explores ALL aspects of growing up and being human but oh well I won't start a rant here)
Though it did annoy me that some comments were complaining about the meaning of the quote. He was talking about equivalent exchange because he's a dork, not trying to half-arse his marriage proposal. I think it's the funniest and most adorable proposal, which is why I love this article so much!!!!
