Whoo! It has Al and Al's body and the Doors... I wish that the cover, when we get a high-resolution version, has a clear image of Al's Doors, because... I want a clear image of them.

And this cover is totally, utterly spoilerrific (although it can also be quite misleading), ESPECIALLY if someone was reading all the volumes at once, and had them all, and saw the covers before having read the earlier ones...

^I think pretty much ANYTHING that happened in chapters 100-104 would be spoilerific on the cover.

I must admit I'm a little disappointed the cover doesn't feature hints to some of the other epic events in the chapters but I should applaud Arakawa for going the more subtle route. It could've been a packed image with hints to Mustang's blindness, Scar vs Wrath, etc, but she chose a more simple approach, which I guess is nice.

I wonder who's on the spine this time?

This is possibly the penultimate volume, so this could be the second last volume cover ever!

Amazing cover! I love it! If I hadn't already read far into the series and saw that cover, I'd definitely be wanting to read on to find out was was going on!

^To me the images on the Viz covers look exactly the same. Aren't they? oO

This might be a bad example, because I find Viz's cover design/layout to look pretty good in this particular picture. But I generally prefer the black, subtle designs, that other countries have, they feel more "mature" and less cartoonish, as opposed to Viz's.

I think that a lot of characters have possibilities of being on the spine. So many things happen during chapters 100 to 104

WOW~! that could be one of my favorite cover!! it's really simple but for me it has deep feeling of something... GREAT!

Ohh, I really like the simplicity of it, it isn't too white or too crowded. I wouldn't say it's my favourite (yet (at the moment, vol 10 cover is my favourite)) because I haven't seen it in HQ, but from this glimpse it looks awesome.
And yeah, I really prefer the black theme to Viz's one, the red/white really, well.. kiddifies it.

Exactly. I failed to express it in a clear way me thinks XP You said it a lot better. Viz's design makes it look really kiddish. It looked pretty good on the first three volumes, with the darker red and shiny silver. But then they had to go and change it...

^^ Things like that really annoy me, especially when there's no basis for the change. All they had to do was to switch the japanese for english, right? It's like when philosopher's stone was changed to sorcerer's stone. It's beyond me :/

Love the cover for vol. 25. Very simple and it was definitely the moment I'd been waiting for to happen in the manga.

So does volume 25 just go up to chapter 103?

If it does I guess 26 probably wont be the last volume after all...unless it was going to contain 104, 105, 106, 107 and the potential 108...but these chapters are all huge in terms of page count (so far up to 106)...surely there wouldn't be 5 chapters all with 50+ pages.

I've had this prediction for about 4 months now. That the last two volumes would have Ed and Al on the spines. Al being on the second to last as !human and Ed being on the last being the older manboy he is now.

With !humanAl on the side of 25, I'm not sure that guess will be right O_o There's no way chapters 104-? will fit in one volume. Especially with the page increase. Unless it's a HUGE volume.
