I really hope this gets an english translation and release......
I've been playing the Japanese version and am stuck
In the battle between Ed, Al, and Armstrong the mission parameter states that you must achieve a Lv 3? (I know VERY little Japanese). I'm assuming this to mean the
'Break Combo' that sometimes occurs after an attack.
-Is the 'Break' random? Anyone know why it occurs? Whenever I have one occur the corner always says Lv 1.
-I've tried many different things but have no idea how to get
Lv 3 that is needed to finish this level. I can defeat Armstrong with no problem but always fail the mission since I haven't achieved a Lv3....
Any suggestions?
Great game and I hope to get into it further......
Anyone know if an FAQ or manual translation has been written to help out?
Thanks
Update:

Eureka! I finally figured it out and passed that level. For anyone that does not know....(it took me quite a few times of replaying that level...) here's a spoiler
Well this is what worked for me after much trial & error. When you get the 'Break' occur after an attack DO NOT hit the R shoulder button to start the combo. A dot should appear and fill in a hole on the transmute circle in the upper right corner. Continue this way until the entire trasmute circle is full (max 3?). At this point I can't remember if it happened automatically or I had to get another 'Break' to occur after an attack. But having it full started the LV 3 attack combo WHICH REALLY HURTS! Took Armstrong down in one final blow.I can't guarentee that explaination is entirely accurate. I'm still figuring things out on this game....
I think I've found out a bit more about how 'Breaks' occur as well. Here's another possible spoiler on that:
If you highlight an enemy character and check it's stats you will see certain things that it is 'weak' 'against' or 'strong'. (icons look like fist, sword, bullet, fire, ect....) I'm assuming these are like physical, slashing, projectile, fire, ect.... I was noticing that if you use an attack that a character is 'weak' against the break occured much more frequently. (I was getting it more often against Armstrong with Ed's armblade attack which is a sword/slash). I also noted that once one of these 'breaks' occured against a character the the icon with a down arrow (one of three above their name?) lights up. I think this is a disablement but not entirely sure. (when it lights up attack, speed, or defense is weaker? Hense the down arrow....) Just a guess......Anyway if anyone has any further thoughts to my explainations I would like to hear them.
Great game (hope it get translated and released NA or Europe)
If you know the story well the Japanese dialog isn't a big problem. You can figure out from the clips and graphics what is going on.
Anyone else still playing this?
