Lightning Flame Alchemist

ok, i was just thinking about this for the past two or three days yet i dunno why. everyone here should know that Al's soul is attached to an amour and the circle thingy is one the BODY of the armor. How come, the head can still move? it's not like, 'attached'. well, it is, but not like the arms and legs type :| so anyone got an answer?
A Pierrot's Aria

I guess it's just because it's actually part of the suit of armour. Note that when the head is removed, you can't see his glowy eyes (with lack of a better phrase!)
So, I'm guessing that due to the helmet being a vital part of that suit of armour, he is therefore connected to it- but obviously, only when it's attached.
Also, it could make sense that although his soul is bonded to the body of the armour, his soul's energy could just spread from that to the helmet, and this would be helped by the fact that the helmet belongs to that particular suit...

I want to ask something about Wrath(King Bradley)...
When he was attacked by Bucaneer, Fu, and one of Briggs soldiers, why can't he regenerate his wounds? I thought it was Philosopher's Stone, but why was he STILL wounded?

im not too sure myself, but it maybe because when 'greed' was inserted into ling, the souls used to make the stone were still there but, when they put it in King Bradley, his one soul destroyed the other ones leaving him the only one in the stone(i think).
hope you can get a better answer:| cause this is just a theory

That is exactly the reason! Ling accepted the stone freely, thus keeping in tact his own soul as well as every other soul in the Philosopher's Stone, while King Bradley resisted, thus losing many souls as they died one at a time as the stone was trying to be part of his body.

In all of the FMA versions, do we know any ishvalan names? I mean, Scar and Miles doesn't count. Do we know the names of the little boys in the ishval camp that Al roamed off to? Scarbro?
I need to know for my OCs!

I don't know how ishvalan names are supposed to sound. (OK, I already got names, but pff, for future reference.)
Also, do you think they have last names?
And, does Ishval seem like a man-dominated society? I suspect it was, but when they're in war, they had other things to think about than what women were allowed and not allowed to do. What do you think?
A Pierrot's Aria

The only Ishvalan name I remember being mentioned is in the "His Battlefield Once More" OVA. It's Heiss Cliff, if I remember correctly (it's spelled like that in the subs, but it just sounds like Heath Cliff to me.

).
He's the Ishvalan that Roy and Hughes befriend in the military academy. I can't remember the two Ishvalan boys' names...And I'm pretty sure Scar's brother's name never gets mentioned, either.

^ It sounded very much
Heath Cliff to me, too. XD And, I also think we never got Scar's brother's name.

Two Ishvalan brothers in FMA-2 anime, I think the younger one is Rick, and the older one is Leo (or Reo?) or something like that.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

I think it seemed sort of like it was, it seemed rather traditional and since traditional societies tend to be more patriarchal I get that impression.

Ah, thank you guys! Pretty normal names then. I sometimes sort of confuse Xerxes and Ishval, and think Ishval is older than it is, when it's just a part of Amestris...

Luxuria-Cat That was my reasoning too.

- Edward question (Possible Spoilers) -
Okay, so, at the end of the manga and second anime, it's been shown that Ed and Winry (Warning. End of series spoilers) ends up married but I've recently heard some thing about Arakawa confirming that Edward falls in love with another girl? It sounds like a bad fanfic to me, honestly, but I want to know if this is actually true or not? I don't know if it's a bit stupid to ask, but... well, creators can change their mind about their own canon, so I want to know for sure. ^^'
A Pierrot's Aria

I would think this to be pretty darn unlikely. Where exactly did you hear it?
It would be pretty strange and random of Arakawa to even say such a thing. LOL (
Warning.
Potential end of series spoilers)
I think it would be silly for Arakawa to end the series and wrap most things up regarding all the characters, then over a year later randomly go "LOL J/K Ed falls in love with a different girl. xD(This could probably do with being moved to
FMA Character Q&A thread later).

I heard it on a different forum, but when I asked for any links I was ignored. xD It just... seems a bit weird telling people about that of it's a lie. But (
Warning.
Potential end of series spoilers)
they seemed pissed of about Ed ending up with Winry, so it could very well be something they made up. And you're right, it wouldn't make sense for Arakawa to go "I changed my mind!" without any reason whatsoever. Besides, wasn't it stated (in the new FMA Chronicles) that they go on having several children? Or maybe I read that part wrong.

This may have been asked before, but I can't seem to make the search function work for me properly, so here goes:
What's Roy Mustang's relation to Aerugo?
I remember reading the manga intro to one of the games (Twilight Prince?) where the royal Aerugan figure heading for a state visit to Amestris was mumbling Roy's name quite ominously, but I never managed to find out anything more. Was he born in Aerugo?

Never heard that, heck Ed even has
kids with Winry. I doubt any author in their right mind would do that. Seems like a case of Fan Dumb to me.

The Gate takes whatever it wants. A limb, a body, memories, organs, a...uh, well...a certain part of the male body. It really isn't specific on what it takes (unlike what you think); just that it takes something.

Pieces of a few organs. Never specified which organs, but Father did mention that she was rendered infertile...

Thank you,
Claudius and
Pride the Arrogant for your help!

I agree, and although it's not specifically mentioned, I think we can safely infer that the gate took reproduction-related organ(s) from Izumi's body.

@
Sakuyahanabi - I don't think I've ever heard/read Arakawa-sensei saying such thing.
I agree with
A Pierrot's Aria and
Pride the Arrogant, and I think this might be the case of imagination by some fan? But, if you (or anyone) hear otherwise, with the source info that is confirming this "revelation", please bring it back here asap, and that would be appreciated!
As posted by

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, I just have a quick question. Maybe the answer is very obvious but i don't know it.
Question: What is Lust's full name
Pride = the arrogant
Greed = the avaricious
Gluttony = the voracious
Wrath = the furious
Envy = the Jealous
Sloth = the Indolent
Lust = the ____________WHAT!?
I am making a lust wallpaper and would like to incorporate her full name, thank you!

I'm pretty sure it's Lust the lascivious.
ErikH

Ah, that does sound right, and is a perfect synonym for Lust. Thank you very much for the quick response and answer.

Welcome to our board,
ErikH!
I was just watching FMA:Brotherhood episode 14: "Those Who Lurk Underground" last night on AdultSwim, in which Greed goes on to list those when he
reunites with his "kins" at Father's lair, but just missed Lust's part.

Anyway, I agree with
A Pierrot's Aria that it goes "Lust, the
lascivious" unless FMA made some deviations.
When you complete the Lust wallpaper, if you'd like, showing it off by posting it in our
Fanworks forum, or sharing it by posting in our board's
FMA Image Gallery in the
wallpaper section. If you have any questions on how to upload the images to our Gallery, our moderators would be happy to assists you.
