I'm apologizing in advanced. I don't know where to put this i usually don't make these kind of posts. I found this new image for a book I thought it was really awesome. Is it for the book with chapter 101? Or is this some random magazine scan. I know it belongs in manga. And I know this post will be moved but where does it go? thanks for the help

Looks like it's the cover of the December issue of the Gangan mag. I've seen the commercial last week during the live broadcast of ep. 28, and I've been searching for that pic since then, so thanks for finding it! ^^
But I think it's not the monthly Shounen Gangan, which has the FMA chapters.

@mandymtt - That magazine is called "Fresh GanGan" and that pic is the cover of the current issue on sale in Japan (though it is called Dec. 2009 issue. ^^)
The magazine is from the same publisher that brings out "Young GanGan," the one with FMA. But, unlike Young GanGan, Fresh GanGan magazine usually carries one-shot comics from up-and-coming manga artists. It says they have 16 of such one-shot comics for that issue.

And, it looks like they also have FMA bonus gift (FMA pin-up poster) and giveaways of some FMA merchandise, and hence the FMA cover. And, it's in conjunction with some giveaway merchandise for "To Aru Majutsu no Index" comic series, and that cute girl next to Ed in the cover pic is the main character from that comic. It may have some FMA color pics and such inside also, but I can't get a good connection to clearly read the cover. Anyway, that's what the pic is. ^^


And.. the best place to post this kind of question:
Depending on the stuff in question, I suggest posting on either FMA merchandise or FMA official news around the web thread. If it's a magazine cover or scanned pages of some article, and you would like to know the content of the article (more likely they are in Japanese, right?) then post that on FMA official news around the web thread, and hopefully, I, or someone who can read Japanese can help out. Or, if you just need to know what it is, like this case, then FMA merchandise thread should do, IMO.

Really? I thought the girl in blue was Winry. It looks like Ed, Al, Winry, and Pinako are all dressed in costumes for Halloween.

@kkg22104 - Yeah, I think you are right, and it's probably Winry. I still can't get a good look at the pic, but upon some of the better try I think I see the blond hair (and blue eyes?)
So, I think it's more likely Winry, and I'm editing my previous post accordingly. ^^

Even more specific, they're all dressed as character from The Wizard of Oz

She also has Winry's earrings in so I would guess it is her, also because she looks as if she's being carried by Ed rather than just standing next to him.
