Too bad I can't read the chapter title. ^^

ETA: The pic of the chapter title page is kind of small and the letters on chapter title part is hard to read, but thanks to the phrase in one of the pages from additional preview pages posted by Paca, I think I know the chapter title now. This month's chapter title comes from one of Fu's dialogue, and, tentatively, I'm translating the chapter title as:

Chapter 99: "The final farewell" "The Final Leave"

Although, "the final farewell" sounds bit misleading, like as if Arakawa-sensei is signaling the message to readers that the end of the series is here... (though we can all sense it that the end of the series is just around the corner... T.T) So, I might change it to something closer to the original meaning of the words. This chapter's title is coming from Fu's dialogue in the chapter, and the phrase he used there is customarily used when a servant or a person with the similar status is addressing to the master that they are "taking the final and eternal leave" i.e. they are leaving the servitude, and th ephrase is usually used with the fond sentiment for their time they spent serving the master, and much respect to their former master. IMO, it's perfect for Fu to use this phrase. With the extra touch that this is such an old fashion way of saying good-bye to the former master, and the phrase fits Fu's character so well. Anyway, that's where this chapter got the words for the title from, and I like the Japanese title of this chapter very much. ^^

ETA: Still contemplating.. XD But, I think I change my tentative translation of the Chapter title, to "The Final Leave" for now.

"Chapter 99 Preview Pics: Caution! Full Spoiler Pics On The Second Post!" is a pretty clear indication that there's spoilers in here. If people read through and find things they didnt want to hear yet, I'm pretty sure that's their fault. Then again, there's always people coming to discuss yet dont read spoiler tags and spoiler pages which I find confusing.

He hasn't open the portal, yet, so he's still just a candidate, but not a actual sacrifice.

And OMG!! Fuu!! I can't say I didn't see that one coming, but it still makes me sad...

Wow! This is something else! I didn't expect it to come to this so quickly. I assume the forth sacrifice is Hohenheim. Maybe the 5th is a surprise since Roy was not confirmed. Also, where is Doctor Marco anyway? I thought he was with Al.

Well, Arakawa is wrapping up the story and there's too many things to get settled. She can't postpone anything, now. XD

I still think that they will make Roy open the gate, one way or another. I refuse to think that this scene http://www.onemanga.com/Full_Metal_Alchemist/40/09/ will simply become a plot hole. I don't know how they will make him do it (I know the theory of killing Riza, but there's other way, you know), but the bad guys have to at least try to make him open the gate. It's too much big scene for it to be ignored later. This is also the reason why I want the Greelin/Wrath fight to finish soon, I want to see some Roy/Wrath interaction.

As for the fifth person, I think there might be someone we don't know yet.

And for Hohenheim? I don't think Father wants to use him for that, he might have other evil plans for him.

i couldn't help but glimpse some of the thumbnails, im gonna try and not to look at all the spoilers in full xD leave some surprises XD but omg my heart's beating, this chapter looks absoloutly completly epic and im so excited for it!

lol ok never mind i couldnt resist temptatition XD I'm assuming hoho was def gonna be one of the others in the 5, since I thought he was one of the confirmed sacrifices on Father's alchemy board thing with the little figures representing sacrifices. I'm sure Hoho's was standing up, not lieing down, however he's currently in the centre of the circle with father right? Also I allways assumed that the sacrifices would have to stand on the edges of the country-wide circle, as in the places where the crests of blood are, since only 3 of them have been taken it might not nesscairly mean their role as sacrifice is been fufilled yet, maybe they're been taken to whereever they need to be or somethin...mm no thats kinda odd gaaaaaah i dunno! I guess actually them been on the edges of the country was just an assumption, it just never occured to me they would be needed on a smaller circle nearer to the centre but actually that kinda makes more scence xD lulz and whats father and hoho doing I wonder? as for the last sacrifice, I agree , I can't see how the Roy thing would simply just become a plot hole and yeh where is marco? is he with Al's group? *shrug*

OMG! Who's inside the circle?! Quick! Dr. Marcoh, Hohenheim, Mei Chang, Alex Armstrong... you pick your own sacrifice there... The picture with Izumi scared me beyond belief. At least we know the sacrifices which were taken away by The Truth are unharmed *for now* because Dr. Creepydude paid the gate toll with the lives of those guys in circle he activated

Good god this is going to be another AMAZING chapter! Poor Fuu! What a brave man!! And the part where all the confirmed sacrifices are taken away really got to me... it was so shocking, seeing them disappear like that. Especially Izumi, for some reason... maybe it was Olivier's face and Sig's reaction.. and then seeing her disappear like that. Wow.. this chapter is going to be awesome! Can't wait to read all of it!

Holy crap, man. O_O I was hoping spoilers would be out by the time I got home from school but I wasn't prepared for the epic awesomeness of the chapter! Fuu was so brave T_T So it's obvious that Ed, Al, and Izumi are going to be sacrifices, and there's also Hoho Papa. Hmm...I think the 5th one might be Marcoh or Mustang XD

Royai fan that I am, part of me is happy that nothing horrible has happened to Roy and Riza yet, but the rest of me is mourning Fu, scared as all-get-out for Ed, Al, and Izumi, and cursing Dr. Creepydude back to the black pit from whence he slithered.

This chapter is going to be probably the most intense chapter, or at least it will be WAY up there after the story's come to an end. I'm sure that this is the setup for a couple of very (in)tense chapters ahead. Though, even just reading the preiew pages, I'm just going, OhcrapohcrappleasenothisisNOThappening!" and at roughly that pace. Even nearly started crying!

I seriously want Hoho to be the one to save them all, though. IMO, somebody's gotta destroy this thing from the inside out, and Hoho's probably got the best working knowledge of any sacrifice (potential and confirmed) at the moment. Then again, with that knowledge, he could probably orchestrate a take-down from the outside, as well... Hmmm... Anyway, my bet's on Hoho being the main player when it comes to averting total, complete, and utter disaster, as something tells me it's too late to avert disaster altogether.

SO EPIC!!!! Next month's chapter is going to be soooo good! And also terribly hard to wait for. Man, I really really want to know what's going on with Ed, Al, and Izumi, but I'm sure we won't know until next month. GAAH! And I'm hoping they'll reveal who the other two sacrifices will be if not next chapter, then really soon after that! I mean, I think that Mustang is really likely for one space-- I'm just unsure about how they'll get him to open the gate. The only theory I've heard is them killing Riza, but I'm skeptical. It's waaay too obvious.... (and Riza is one of my favorite characters, so I'm trying not to be so pessimistic about her chances of living.....) and I think that Roy knows better than to try.

Fuu.... That makes me very sad even though he's not really up there in my favorite characters. He died very bravely.... I bet Ran Fan will come in soon with a vengeance. And Greeling too. I can't wait to see more!
