Wait.. maybe that was Scar.. that would make a little more sense.. gehh!! I'm so confused.. @_@.. I think I'm gonna wait for the translations and ignore everything that I just said.. ^^;;

- at first i thought i was strange that barry was still alive... until page 9 where Breda is actually retelling the story of how Mustang "supposedly" killed maria ross and how they planned the whole thing to Ed and the others... hehehe, ROY SO COOL!!! XD i'm guessing that armstrong is more loyal to mustang now than before... and it also means that havoc is still paralyzed.

- from what i understood in page 5, it also looks like mustang wasn't sure of ross' innocence. breda was supposed to kill her if he found out that she really did it. well, i'm not sure about this one... but from what little i understood from this page, breda kept asking her if she really didn't do it.

- ah, Ross isn't just staying in the borders of Xing... she's actually going to the country itself. Fu-san is going to look after her. although, why fu-san readily gave up his duties of protecting his young master to help roy is beyond me (maybe it was explained but i just didn' get it)... so maybe the reason why armstrong took ed with him was either to show him that mustang isn't really a bad guy who would easily kill someone, or just give him a chance to say good bye to ross who had become a friend to the brothers.

- about winry's parents... page 36... the ishabarites told ed that they were killed by an ishabarite whom they tried to help. and it doesn't seem like it was scar's brother who was the culprit but it was Scar himself! notice in page 37 that the face of the killer is also covered and if you look closely, the tips of an x-shaped scar surrounding the middle of the face is apparent... haha, what a huge coincidence if scar's brother also had the same scar on his face as his brother.

- OMG! OMG! WHAT AN ENDING TO THIS CHAPTER!!! CRAP! one month before we get to see the next chapter!! crap! crap! craaaaaaap!!!!

ross is leaving the military?

Because of Ed's hot tempered personality, i'd say that Ed's gonna kick his dad's ass. What to you guys think?

frankly, i'm not surprised that Ed and Hohenheim bumped into each other... the question is, why did Hohenheim come back to rizenpool in the first place?

but i am pretty surprised that it was, possibly although not confirmed, scar that killed winry's parents. i wjust hope she wouldn't jump into the action like she did in the anime.

Actually, it looked like Scar killed Winry's parents, and maybe he put the bandages on to make people think it was his brother, since he hated him and he killed her parents because they were alchemists.. Or it was Scar's brother, and he didn't want people to know it was him and since if he left his right arm uncovered, people would think he was a warrior priest.

What an interesting chapter. It was surprising that so many people came up with such accurate guesses about how Roy didn't kill Ross. It was cool to finally find out what really happened after months of debating. ^^; And yes, May "Bunny" forever be remembered.

Is it just me, or was that the first time someone ever called Ed a bean and got away with it? O.o Then again, Breda looked about ready to kill.

By the way, when Ross said she "looks forward to the day when she will be welcomed back into her country," I got a strange impression. My guess is, judging by the type of story Arakawa tells, that it will never happen. I have a strong feeling she will die for real this time, perhaps before or after everyone finds out that she was innocent.

Yes, it was Scar who killed the Rockbells. (My oppinion of Roy went up two points! Not only did he save Ross, but he had nothing to do with the Rockbells' death, unlike what happened in the anime.) I have yet to figure out why he'd kill doctors who were HELPING his people, and who were NOT, for that matter, alchemists, but I'm sure it was him. He had a bandage over his forehead, and the Ishvar people said he had "a tatoo of the Ishvar Warrior Priests."

The manga never mentioned anything about Scar's origins or anything. In the anime, he was a major character, but in the manga, he just vanished without leaving any sort of explanation or anything. I assume the anime added the whole thing about the arm and the brother. Also, since nobody ever made a big deal about the Nina incident in the manga, Scar never really messed with Ed's head much. If Ed finds out he killed the Rockbells, he'd probably get that whole revenge tendancy thing again. Either way, I'd really like to know more about Scar.

I LOVED the way Arakawa drew the last scene. In the anime, it took Ed a total of five seconds to recognise his father, call him a bastard, and beat the crap out of him for flirting with Ross. I love the sense of depth the manga created just then as Ed remembered the pictures of his father from when he was young. The anime rendition was a bit unconvincing; all Ed did later was sulk around. It never captured how pained Ed felt since Hoenheim's disappearance was one of the main indirect reasons he and Al went through what they did.

Anyway, unless something extreme happens to Winry and Al or one of the Xing characters suddenly becomes the focus of attention, we will find out how this plays out next chapter. Here's a prediction though: The next chapter will start out with a flashback of some sort.

Yay for Roy! It wasn't just that he didn't kill Ross, he obviously hasn't killed Winry's parents either! So it was Scar then... makes me wonder WHY WHY? Felt a bit confused for a second. Sometimes I'm not sure what happened in the anime and what in the manga... . But I'm starting to prefer manga Roy now even though they're the same person... oh well.
I liked the whole flashback thing about "those events". Hmmm... so now I know what "that thing" was! I had been wondering about that for some time. Surprising that Barry grasped the clue so quickly . Barry=Bunny ... I miss that character... *sniff*.
I hope that Ross won't be gone for good That scene was so touching! [/SPOILER}
