Forsaken Love
^ in reference to that, do we know yet what hoho was doing when he ripped open his chest and parts of the philosphers stone dropped on the floor? Maybe the reverse circle was been made right under fathers nose and requires that energy from hoho's stone to activate and ruin his plan at the last second. I think its probably got a good year left, theres so many loose ends yet to be explained, im betting 108 chapters, i'd be very surprised if it was less than that.

ditto. Forsaken Love: some good ideas here. i think we may be able to bet on a few more chapies though. i always thought ed would fight the farther and that he would free the souls from the fathers body and sacrifice the father for al's body. anyways. greed v brad. okay. we are about to experience arakawa at her finest in years so this had better be so ***cking awsome that i will actually eat my own head or else i may actually become the next gordon brown. god forbid that happeining. can't wait anyway. woot brotherhood episode with ling for teh first time tomoz!!!!!!!WOOOOOOOOOT.

One can actually argue that the Homunculi needs Bradley more than their master. His destruction is the mortal wound to their authority and control of humankind (At least, that's true in Anime1).

I dunno about that to be honest. Bradley is important, very important, but I think you're forgetting he's only been around for sixty years. The Homunculi have had their plan in action for centuries. I'm not saying Bradley isn't important, probably the most important to the plan of the seven Homunculi, but to argue they need him more than Father is going a tad far in my opinion.

I've been wondering the same thing. I think that the reverse circle is a distinct possibility, would explain why Hohonheim insisted on going to a certain place. It's also the only thing I can think of him actually having done.

I dunno about the series lasting a year more, I'd say a good sixth months tops. BONES wouldn't be doing Brotherhood if the series wasn't coming to an end soon. As many loose ends as there are, I think they could actually succeed in tying them up satisfyingly in that time.

what about their quest for Rentanjutsu? You know - the reversed transmutation circle that Al came up with?

Why am I thinking that the ending could be a cliffhanger....

Al didn't come up with it, he just found something that was already done by someone else wink.gif Plus the quest for Rentanjutsu, which is something I never believed in, was cut short the day Alphonse proved unable to learn it and May unable to teach it laugh.gif I think the difference in culture is too high, that kind of stuff comes naturally to a Xingese, but to an Amestrian like Alphonse, I think it's too hard without clearer explanations.

Bradley is certainly the most important of the Homonculus, that's for sure. He was charged to find human sacrifices, finish the circle with some wars, etc. He isn't more important than Father for the plan, but I stay on my position that he is the true main villain of the manga, because Father is too far from the action to be called such.

Agreed that Bradley is the most important of the Homonculus, and he's definately a very important villain, but I think that you have to remember that without Father, none of the events of the manga would ever have even happened. That being said, Bradley has probably had the biggest presence of all the Homunculus (with Envy coming a close second)

Hi everybody!

I don`t know if someone knows me but whatever...

I just wanted to say how awesome the series is going and despite it is closing to the end I will apreciate it as much as those lst few buckets of gas one may grasp once petrol is over.

Anyway father`s true form or maybe the first of many (Final Fantasy VIII anyone?) is awesome! This is the sort of freakin aberration the big bosses always turn out to be near the end of the game and that is always the best part.

I mean it was pretty odd Hoho beating up Father like he had total control then BAM time for the real show.

Yesterday I had a dream before seeing this chapter that if Wrath was alive then Greed would end up fighting him.

At first I thought he would face Sloth but since Izumi popped up with her awesomeness I was wondering what then?

Well it kinda turned out my vision was right and Wrath and Greed will have their awesome fight.

The best of it is the fact both fighters are made through a very similar process, Ling had a Philosofer stone injected into him and so does Bradley. That makes room for those huge psychological confrontations we die to see in any series.

Ability wise they are kind of matched since Greeling is virtually indistructible but Bradley can predict movements ahead of their execution which makes him arguably unscachable.

This is up to Arakawa`s madness to put things up.

I don`t care if neither Ed or Al showed up because the whole chapter was already full of awesomeness and ya don`t need POP brothers to hype up sales when things are going well.

As for Envy`s death two chapters ago I can`t complain since it was a damn way out for that SICKO we all loved. He lossed most of his power when Marco drained his stone (arguably way beyond what he could regain absorbing zombies) and nuff said avenger Mustang is unstoppable. Moreover blasting his own stone and giving everyone a huge "..CK YOU ALL" was a nice farewell sign.

As for Sloth I can say it couldn`t have gone anyway different, he wasn`t very intelligent or at least was too lazy to try any strategy and holding up against the armstrong brothers, even making them need help from those poor canon fodder soldiers, was something remarkable. But the Curtis are well... YEAH! BABY! YEAH! In other words he was doomed.

Now what really bugs me is what Pride is up to. Alphonse made a damn rush out of there but that sneaky ice cold killa mentioned something which make you thing no matter what the heroes do it will always end up into a "CURSE YOU VILLAIN CURSE YOU".

Right now, I'm just kinda like.... get to the end already. I don't know, I feel like somehow they're stalling. I mean, I thought it was close to the end, like, 10 chapters ago. I don't want this to be another Naruto or Bleach or Dragon Ball... or any other never ending manga. I hate to say it, but I want a final battle already.
P.S.
I want more Winry.

@Hagaren_4ever - I moved your post to How many more chapters does Manga have? thread, since I think your post may be a good fit for that thread. ^^

Nice episode it was. The war is just beginning, Hohenheim gets awesome and (I hope that) it isn't going to end soon. But one thing: where is Ed? I really like all those new chapters, but I'd like to know how the story of Elric brothers will develop. Hiromu, don't forget about the brothers biggrin.gif
