L6 - Black Hayate and Scar (I disagree, Scar wouldn't be able to fight a cute animal for his life XD ).
L7 - Jurii... Julie? I seem to recall some middle aged woman with a bulldog at some point in the manga...
Oh, at Rush Valley XD (see also, forget EvilGenius' naming BS)
Also micro-organisms (bacteries and such) and Roy Mustang XD
L8 - Ed and Yoki
L9 - Heynckel and Darius. (Why? They can't fight "fellow" animals? )

I must know where did this pyramid come from. XD

Nah Scar had a soft spot for all cute things. Look at how he reacted to Mei and Xiao Mei. Of course like Ed he could have mistook Xiao Mei for a cat.

Sensenic I think the Pyramid is from this new character guide only. I certainly have not seen it before. Either way it is not part of the Vol. 22 Omake.


I love how Arakawa puts Roy & Ed towards the bottom of the pyramid. But hey Roy should feel better although he never beats Ed in a character poll he is above him in the animal pyramid.

I am a little surprised that Heinkel & Darius are so low. But whose pyramid is this? Or is this just the general pyramid for all animal thoughts?

@ Kale: If it's not too much trouble, could you scan some of Mei and Ling? I want to know more about Xing Thanks a lot!

I love how a bunch of the Omake this time are based on old fables. Arakawa you just continue to impress.

I have to admit, that working in San Francisco has it perks as Japantown (and by extension Kinokuniya Bookstore) is just a bus ride away so I have the luxury of checking out their new stuff on Wednesdays... (since all their stuff is airmailed - they arrive on the same day or close to when they're released in Japan so not much waiting)

As for the scan for Ranfan, sure I'll scan it this evening.

It seems tinypics have shrank the omakes and they aren't perfectly readable ;_; It's kinda too blurry to be scanlated... Those 1022 x 820 are all kinda too small (Winry's experience record, and the omakes) so if possible, can you upload in 1599 x 1295 like the rest of them are? Thanks =D

@AA battery I normally use Photobucket - tinypic is my backup - and a strange thing happened when I was uploading...the scans were flipped, even though I had rotated and saved them in landscape mode when I originally scanned them.

I'll see what's up with the pics once I get home before rehosting on Photobucket.

@Cece For both Winry and Ranfan, I just picked those pages because they were more interesting to look at (to me at least) but I'll scan the actual profile pics tonight.

Thoose first few pages with then homunculi seem to be a sort of a character test. If anyone could translate it I would appreciate it alot. Think what Envy has to say about the other characters would prove quite amusing XD.

I just noticed that each character page has English spelling of the character name as well. I see Ranfan is spelled Ranfun...

Anyway, that means... we can have cannon spellings of all the minor characters' names!!!! Yay!!!

Not everyone in the book has an English spelling of their name, just most of them do. For example, Yoki doesn't have his name spelled out in English, but Who (aka Fuu) does.

^ Oh... Mr. Fuu is spelled "Who" ? I think I need to get used to some of these spellings. XD

Time to get used to 'Solf J Kimblee' then as well.

Actually, those names were in Perfect Guidebook 2 as well (which I bought). I mentioned them in the forum a long while ago but no one seemed to believe me. =P If you look at posts from over a year ago you may find them... xD
