My first manga was Sailor Moon. :3

It was my first anime, too.
Luxuria-Cat
^ Same here! Although I think my first manga could have been Tokyo Mew Mew...it was a long time ago...
Winter Phantom
My first one was DNAngel. A friend in 7th grade presented me the manga and its characters.
Pyroclasm
Chrno Crusade. After hearing that the manga had a different ending from the anime, I wanted to see what happened.
baquira
SlamDunk it was on sale back then. I watched the anime maybe ten years ago and thinking about it makes me reminisce the animes that i used to watch waaaay back then like Yuyu Hakusho and Detective Conan. good ol' animes thumbsup.gif
FirstMoon
Vampire Knight.Still ongoing tough...
Kiwi-Kins
Hmmm...the first manga I ever read was Cardcaptor Sakura biggrin.gif
Ha~ good times in grade 5...
My favourite manga has to be Fruits basket, ...or Black Butler.. It's kinda hard to choose.... dry.gif

But the last manga I read was Black Butler >_<

(BTW, the swear- censer thingy was blocking Kuroshitsuji, so I said Black Butler )

<Yes, that swearing word is on the list and hence Kuroshituji normally gets edited. Sorry about that. And btw, welcome to the board. ~ Board staff>

First manga I read was Dragon ball (then DBZ) my cousin lend me.
That's fun, first manga I bought was the one-shots collection "short stories" from Toriyama.
Althought I don't like DBZ a lot, I rather like dragon ball, I'm fond of Dr Slump, and I like very well the characters of him (Arale, Piccolo...), and plots.

Letīs say that there were two first mangas o_o
FMA of course, and Shaman King.

I started to read both of them, then quit xDU
After a few weeks, I took FMA manga and finished it smile.gif
Once I finished, I did the same thing with Shaman King
Dark-Winds
Detective Conan when I was in middle school. I loved that series.

What's funny is that I watched the anime first on Adult Swim, and commercials for FMA used to come on. And I thought it looked really scary and weird. I never would have imagined it'd be my favorite series years alter xDDD

Detective Conan for me too. My friend (Dark-Winds *points to the person above this post*) let me borrow some random volume of it so I could observe something specific in it for artistic purposes. Since the volume was sitting around, I ended up reading it, just cause I had never read a manga before. After that, I was hooked and borrowed all of the volumes from my friend before I finally bought it on my own.

When I was in middle school, I read some chapters of various manga here and there. My favorites were Shaman King, Rurouni Kenshin, and really anything in Shonen Jump. Ahh... Shonen Jump... *reminisces* happy.gif

But the first manga that I really got into was Death Note in high school. It was also the first and one of the only series that I actually read in full. I never even got close to finishing any of those other series ^^;
EdokunEdo
I read Fruits basket first, i went to the library and looked at all the books kinda "meh" when i saw them then i borrowed Furuba and i got hooked on all sorts biggrin.gif
Lucky Lucy
I remember when I was four or five, my mother came home and gave me the first volume of the Sailor Moon manga(it was translated in my language, though) and I was so happy when I read it! I mean when I was a child all I did was read, but only normal books and when I saw the manga jawdrop.gif I kinda died of happiness! laugh.gif I think that it might have been destiny for me to fall in love with manga again, right? biggrin.gif
AlchemistPrincess
Neon Genesis Evangelion (and it's still not complete!)
