Okay, this may be an obvious question, and I'm just missing something, but I'll ask anyway. What's up with everyone adding exclamation points to adjectives? Like Manga!Ed. And Trauma!Ed. And Nerd!Winry. I don't get it, what am I missing?

Anyway I found myself saying, "That's what I thought when I saw that!" Other than, "That's so funny!" when I saw this round of Kit-chan's summaries. But hey, I don't mind that.

I actually found the pink for the character cards to be awesomely hilarious, as only true manly men can rock the hot pink!

I too was also surprised that Eclipse decided to sub it as that, but then again, it was kinda easy to go with the obvious joke. I'm betting though that Funimation will probably have it as 'useless' in their subs...ah, once again we're illustrated with the fact that translations are subjective.

Another thing that struck me while looking at the caps (both these & the hi-res ones) and then flipping through the Ishbal War arc in the manga was how young Roy looked in the Ishbal flashback. He looked as old as Ed in the shot, and it kinda hit home how young they all were during the war.

...I'll probably fiddle around in GIMP and make an avatar or two.

The eyecatches are really neat, i love the images but the English guy saying "Fullmetal Alchemist"...Gah...XD It's so wierd...and kinda funny XD.

You know what, i didn't even notice the pink background until i came across eiliem's captions XD and saw the eyecatch. I think while i was watching the episode on stream, i wasn't paying attention XD.

I'm still not over the fact that the character chards in episode five, made Scar's and Roy's backgrounds bright pink! I so thought that they would save that color for Armstrong! Armstrong and pink sparkles go together like..... well... they complete each other!

I've been writing papers and finishing reports all week this week, so I can very much relate to being "lack of humor," and that panel with Winry after her over-night works. Just like the episode itself, the capsummaries were on the nice, quiet side. Short, but there wasn't really much going on in the episode so there wasn't much to comment on.

I feel really stupid for asking this, but...what are doujinshis? XD I can kind of infer basically what they are from Kit-chan's caps, but I'm still not sure...

@kkg22104 - "Doujinshi" in this context is fanmade manga with characters based off on the original manga or anime such as FMA. It's like fanfic (the one with many chapters) but in manga form. Usually it runs in many chapters with some long running storyline. Like, this one (unfinished) by one of our members, Reika.


Yes, Kit-chan's bits about Sheska talking about doujinshi is funny. ^^
