Finally, Is it me or did the art look kind of... "weird" this month? Honestly, I can't even tell if it's better or worse than usual (depends on the panel, I guess)... ;
But there certainly are lots of rare/unusual perspectives, and the characters seem "softer" than usual, they get deformed a lot...
Maybe it was done on purpose, to make the chapter look more dynamic?

Come to think of it...
running away and leaving Pride alive and free was silly.

Think of it: Pride+Kimbley got easily pwnt by PS!Al, the only one who changed the odds was PS!Kimbley.

With him out of commission it would have been really easy for Al (while in the car) to transmute a flashbang or 2 again, jump into battle, use it and instant-trap Pride again.
That much they could have done without losing much time.

But oh well, you can't have 'em all...

Although, Riza's artstyle looks funny/strange in several panels, and Roy looks so scary at the end. But, I'm not complaining.

So, Kimbley is gone (kind of.) Totally unexpected ending for him.
I thought he might put up some fight, or he might have some tricks on his sleeve.
I'm relieved that Olivier is alive. Alex is the one to save them. Nice job!!
Mei chan can fight!! Wow.
And, then Ed, Al, Scar, Mustang, Riza, & Mei run into each other.
Feels bit convenient, but I still like it that they are all together again.
And finally, Mustang learns who killed Hughes.
He looks scary on the last panel.

Yoki made me laugh so hard! That's not what I was expecting!

Way to go, May! You did well! I was worried for her, but she held out until she got away and didn't take Envy's BS...

I'm wishing Olivia and Alex lots of luck...they have a lot on their plate right now...

I'm so happy everyone's together again, too! It was so funny to finally have a scene with Roy and Ed again...it's been FOREVER...not since...well, it was so long ago that I can't actually remember.

But more than anything, I am DYING to see what happens with Roy and Envy. This is something we've been waiting AGES for. He looked so pissed...I wonder if he's going to want to fight Envy alone? I loved how they were going back and forth, too. Envy is so bad, but that's what made it so much fun to read. I'm really looking forward to that!

Oh, and just seeing Roy and Riza FINALLY in the same friggin panels again gave me a fangasm!

Damn, didn't expect Kimblee to go like that. That was a tad bit brutal. The panel with Pride's shadows over him was definately creepy. And did Pride deliberately send Al and the others in Central?

I also smell a niiice little Envy flambée next chapter XD .

Forgot to mention. The panel where Yoki run over Selim in his car is pure win. Go Yoki!

Oh shi... NO! Just when you thought Kimblee couldn't get any worse... but even if Pride takes Kimblee's body, he won't be able to use alchemy, will he? I mean, am I remembering wrong, or is it not entirely possible to homunculi to do the same alchemy as humans? Like, aside from their own abilities? I honestly don't remember.

Anyway, the rest of the chapter after that was basically one big "YYYYEEAAAHHH!" I had to stop myself from doing a victory yell at Mustang's entrance.

I also gained quite a bit of respect for Olivier in this chapter. I still suspect that she's out for herself, but now I know that she has some sort of compassion somewhere in there. The scene with her and Alex was great.

And the ending... wow, was my heart pounding! I kinda want to see a repeat of Roy vs. Lust, but 1) it just wouldn't be the same, and 2) Unless someone pulls a fast one, Envy's not gonna go down easily. He also absorbed a number of Philospher's Stones from the immortal soldiers while battling Mei, so... yeah. It's gonna be interesting.

I know I've said this before, but I mean it now more than ever: I cannot wait for next month's chapter!

Very exciting chapter. I can see Arakawa is just about done having characters asemble into groups for the final battle. I'm biting my nails thinking about what will end up happening with Father & Hohenheim.

She showed a softer side in the chapter before this one already But hey, are you kidding? You "think" she is out for herself? First everyone in this manga is out for himself, that's what make it so better than other shônen. Second, Briggs soldiers plus now Central soldiers? Yeah, she definitely has the best manpower right now She is the one who will get to the top if it continues like this



I told everyone than there was no way Envy could beat her Envy is the weakest and stupidest fool among the Homonculus (Glutonny and Sloth are more stupid than him, but hey they have an excuse, they're mentally retarded ), there was no way he could catch May who is so agile and strong for her age. Especially given that he could hardly take on his most powerful form in those narrow corridors.

Bullets work on Envy, and they are not fool enough to leave her alone to deal with him. But supporting someone else? I don't think she would be that much in danger. Envy is the weakest of the remaining Homonculus, and it has been proven countless times that he was all brag and no muscles, so there shouldn't be a problem here.

I think there's a chance she could get hurt, but she's well protected.

Also, not to sound dumb, but is there a specific scene in the manga that Roy is referring to or is he just being sarcastic?

He refers to the battle with Lust (in the same place), when Lust told Riza that Mustang is dead. Riza burst into tears :E

This chapter was even better than the last one! I love how bold Olivier is! "Shoot us and those things will eat you alive! Not even blinking when there's a gun in her face but then again no one's scared of death anymore. Mei had a comeback! She's my number 2 favorite Xingese person! Roy + Riza panels = fangirls screams which in this case I did in class and got in trouble. Roy was pure badassness His anger was ... and then the last page. He was beyond pissed I don't think I ever seen anyone that angry before. this chapter owned the last one the same way Roy owned Ed. LOL!

I totally loved this chapter!! I can't wait to reaad cap 94! The greatest thing is that when we read it the second season will have been released already!


Im so thrilled!!

I was really happy to see that this chapter had a really Royai moment, it had been a long time since the last one, even if its a tiny hint it is still treasured.

The fight RoyxEnvy gives me chills, this is Roy chance and it is true that envy has eaten a lot of philopher stones but lets not understimate Mustang, he is looking enraged. I think im feeling more excited over this fight than the fatherxhohenhiem one.

Another curious thing I wanted to point out... is that, have you noticed how every group now are going to the same path? Maybe its a clue that the manga is coming to its end but i do demand to know Roy's profile and the characteristics of xingese alchemy!

That chapter was amazing! I always tell myself to not read it so fast, because then I have to wait a month for it to come out. But I can never help myself. Now I am waiting for it to be April.

@edxwinryfan yeah, where is Winry? I know she isn't a fighter but she is the main support for the Elric brothers. Also all of the characters seem to be coming in for the final arc. Winry deserves to be mentioned. Maybe she will come in with her wrench and hit some of those zombies on top of the head.

I can't wait till Roy burns Envy to death. I think the rest of the group will move on while Roy and Riza fight Envy in the next chapter... come on, Arakawa gotta let those two fight together for the last (?) time. =3

I can't believe that Pride would go as far as "eating" Kimbley... o_o but oh well, it's Pride. Is the philosopher's stone still in Kimbley's possession...? I suppose so... Al and the others don't look like they had the time to pick it up.

Gotta wonder how stupid those soldiers are gonna get... it's either you team up w/ the two Armstrongs or get killed by monsters >_> stupid.

You know, Envy, it's .... like this that makes me wonder, "Why do people like you so much?" <--- seconded. I hate Envy the most in the series, followed by Pride (manga Pride of course). 8D

I hope Saiga Mitsuki gets to dub Olivier, now that we know she isn't dubbing Maria Ross. I can't think of anyone other than Saiga Mitsuki to be suitable for that role.

PS. Why mention Winry in the middle of a fight? That would make no sense. She can't fight. Period.

It's too bad there wasn't another beat after Hawkeye said "useless", we almost got to see Mustang growing mushrooms again XD

My only fear, now, is that they actually get to the point of trying to kill Hawkeye to get Mustang to open the portal... Just hope it won't come to that, because, if that's what's going to happen, the most logic time to do that would be... Now?

@AAbattery: I know Winry cannot fight. And it is unlikely that she will show up in a battle scene, I was just wondering if she was ever going to be mentioned again. That is all.

Anyways, I also liked Yoki's scene "I did something!"

Don't worry FMAobsessed Winry will come back because Ed said he wants that apple pie and she has to cry tears of joy and everyone has to get their happy ending well...the good guys at least. I want to know where the hell RanFan is. I wonder how or if she gets gets Ling back.

I don't think Winry will be showing up any time soon. They made a big deal about how she was going to wait in safety for now, making pies and stuff (unless she plans on throwing them at the zombies ) . There's nothing else she can really do, and I hope she doesn't do anything drastic because it'd probably end fatally for her...and I certainly don't want that!

The only reason I'd say the Riza thing wouldn't happen is because Arakawa usually does the opposite of what people predict, but there are a few scenes that came to my mind when I read the recent posts about her:

Envy likes to play dirty as we saw with what he said about Hughes' wife, so...well, who knows...it's all speculation. I'm just wondering if Arakawa would be that predictable...

I thought Wrath was meant to be the one to take care of him, but since he's MIA and Envy's right there, next to Father's lair, he might *try* to take on the job.

Which brings me back to wondering what'll go down between Hoho and Father. Will there be an epic duel? Everyone's coming to Father (or being herded to him in Al&Co's case) but what can he do if all his 'children' are scattered everywhere (what remains of them) and Hoho's kicking his @$$?

I was reading that manga TODAY! That's why my fear kinda came back. XD
But you're probably right. Roy wouldn't let anyone kill Riza. He would die before he let her get killed.
