"Thought you said that it wouldn't be him." Isaak tensed up, his body getting ready for anything that Scar might throw at them (metaphorically speaking of course.) Isaak readied his gun just in case.

"Guess I was wrong. But something ian't right." Alice growled back as both she and Mustang tensed for what was to happen next. Scar's face was a expressionless mask as usual as he stepped clear of the last of the smoke. "More military dogs?" he growled. "You shall pay for you insolence and foul ways." He growled lunging at them.

"He does seem a bit different..." Isaak said, ready to fire. "Should we attack long or short range?" He had to think quick if it was short range since he was an alchemist of Poison.

"It would be tricky if we decided to do both, but we have no choice. Even if someone will get hurt, we have to take the risk. I don't like the options but we haven't got much of a choice right now." Alice grit her teeth as her mind spun with numerous possiblities. Her body tensed further as Scar slowly made his way over. "Damn," she cursed. "Nightrow, come with me. We're doing close range. Mustang and Sawyer, cover us. You two are the long reange. You know our orders take them down no matter what. If you have him in your line of vision, don't hesitate to shoot." Alice stated, before stepping away from the group.

"Alright." Isaak nodded and readied his gun quickly. He looked at Scar and then at Alice. I'd think it would have been better with Wilson as long range. Mustang and Wilson both have alchemy that can go with long and short range while I can only go short range with my Poison unless it's for a specific area. The butterfly alchemist is good as she is right now anyways...

Alice grit her teeth when another idea popped in her head. "Hold up, Sawyer, take my place, u'll do better because of your alchemy. I'll stick with Mustang and we'll cover you. Take him down no matter what. Those were our orders." She stated, stepping back to join Roy and allowing Isaak to step up.

"Seems like great minds think alike." Isaak smirked as he put away his gun and stepped up, readying for his alchemy. "Two poison alchemists, side by side, with the Shadow and Flame Alchemist as back up. This'll prove interesting."

Alice's teeth clenched as she watch Scar slow but steady advance. Something wasn't right. Scar wasn't himself. It was almost if, someone was in control of him. But who? and what? A small feral growl ripped from her throat as she watched Scar stop in his tracks and stare down at the four of them. Something definintely wasn't right, but she couldn't shake it off. If only there was some sort of sign.

"We have clear shots and we're not shooting..." Isaak looked at Scar. "And the reason is why?" Isaak narrowed his eyes wondering why they were having a staredown. "Why is he just standing there?"

"Your guess is as good as mine." Alice stated, confusion flashing through her eyes as she watched Scar's movements cautiously. "Why isn't he attacking?" She whispered more to herself than the others.

Isaak frowned a bit as he looked at Scar. Something about his appearance didn't make sense. Was it his hair? His arms? His eyes? What was it that was out of place?

The silence that dragged on was disturbing. None of them had moved an inch in past few moments and time was dragging steadily on. 'Why isn't he attack?' Alice wondered. "If he won't make the first move, then I will." She stated and flicked her wrist. The shadows sped straight towards Scar who was motionless as he watched the oncoming attack.
