Plot:
Water is a precious thing.
After all most of the world is desert these days, a change that has turned the power system of countries and empires upside down. In the center of the only continent, that spans a half of the world lies a large desert, ruled by the empire of Amrun, the largest nation of all, that is deeply fractured into hundreds of sheikdoms and a few sultanates. The Sheiks answer to their sultans and the national armies answer to the sultans, but ultimately they all bow to the emperor, who sits on his throne in the capitol of Hiermband.
Yet politics in the last 200 years have changed, ultimately spawning a new phenomena that has set the desert sands in a state of unease. Former militias employed by the sheiks have become legal, semi-legal and illegal paramilitary organizations known as clans. These clans are not families related by blood, but groups related by skills and power. Every clan holds dominion over a piece of the land, bigger or small, and occasionally clashes with other, but in rather minor fights. Thus a status quo has been born where the clans run and rule the land except for the major cities whom answer to the armies yet in the end the power of the clans is a terryfying thing.
People of various talents have gathered under the banners of these clans, swordsmen, brawlers, thugs, thieves, mages, spies and many more that boast on their skills to improve their standing within the clan. However soon this fragile balance is brief at best and only a spark could set it off, igniting a civil war....
Incidentally at this time a group of unlikely brigands, opportunists and travellers gathers to serve a clan...
Concepts:
Clans: Paramilitary organizations ruled by one strong leader, but divides into(usually) five or fewer tribes that are ultimately formed out of gangs. Tribal leaders and the clan leader form the council of their clan, the highest governing body. Some clans are legal and only carry out tasks for the army, according to laws, other clans are semi-legal and they are named so because their perform minor villanies yet are not a major threat. Illegal clans involve themselves in everything dark there is and are cosidered to be banned, any illegal clan member can be killed on sight by anyone without any consequences. Each clan has it`s own symbols.
Tribe: A smaller section of a clan, usually ruling over a town or an area equal to a town`s sphere of influence. Formed out of a number of gangs, who are the footsoldiers of the clans and their tribes. Each tribe has it`s own symbol.
Gang: A group of people ranging from 2 to 20(usually) that travel the deserts or patrol their own areas in search of ruins, loot, jobs or banditry. Whatever gets them paid and brings wealth to their own tribe so that they may advance one step up the ladder. Each gang has it`s own symbol.
Symbols: People usually carry symbols in different forms (on their clothing, as pendants, on their weapons or even as tattoo`s) as a mark of their clan, tribe and gang.
Rules:
1. No post of offensive content (rascism etc)
2. Don`t kill other people`s characters without permission, curious rabble you can of course slaughter
3. Try to stay with the rp, don`t worry if others post too much, your character can always be at the scene and remain at the sidelines etc.
4. No god-modding
5. Swearing, blood, and violence of course allowed, even required, but hey keep things at a reasonble line. Keep it nice and clean, well kinda.
6. No one liners, for the love of The Insane God Of Bombs In His Holy Explosive Factory In The Sky, don`t post one-liners!
7. Try to follow the plot, I kinda have it planned, but I am welcome to suggestions and changes as you come up with them.
8. No super-freaking duper powers in the start, ok? that goes in god-modding, but to specify I`d hate to see characters turning into huge demons in the very beginning.
9. Try to be original. Magic exists, technology is still pretty medieval, demons and angels are known to have existed etc(don`t over do these ok?). Supernatural abilities? Sure as long as you can somehow explain them.... different races? Nothing ridicolous.
10. Romance will be fine by me, but... ah well ( no yaio or sexual stuff either etc, lets try to keep it clean? )

Characters:
The Creed Brothers: (Their name is a pun on their characteristics as they are greedy)
Brothers of questionable nature, quirky and cunning, they fight for their clan Sabbat and tribe Scythin (a reference to an indo-european tribe, Scythians) as a pair. Albeit troublesome and known for not paying their bills, they are a fierce and dangerous opponents should one cross them as there is more to their cunning nature than their characteristics.
Jago:
Name: Jago Creed
Race: Lizardman (Lizardmen appear human for the most part, but as their legend suggest they have descended from large desert lizards or at least are related to them somehow. Their skins sometimes are, for small parts, seen as scales and more notably they have forked, snake like tongues. Having reptilian eyes is an uncommon yet possible trait that hints towards a more savage natured lizardman. Otherwise they appear completely human.)
Age: 19
Appearance:

Hair: Spikey, Dark Brown, held up by his black bandanna.
Eyes: Grey
Clothing: Black pants, sandals, light brown cloak that cover his body and neck except his hands. Additionally on his cloak`s right chest there are his clan, tribe and gang symbols. Underneath the cloak he wears a simple, dark blue, sleeveless shirt.
Personality: Confident, cunning, careless, quirky and extremely greedy
Strengths: Sharp minded, nimble(quick) and balanced
Weakness: Blunt, straightforward, greedy
Weapon/s Of Choice: Large cleaving sword(like Cloud`s from FF7 but different in appearance), that`s tip is shaped like a sharks fin. On the back of the sword there are 4 large rings attached trough the sword in order to catch enemies weapons and disarm them.
Powers: Earth magic and absorbion powers(natural talent from their father)
History/Background(Same as his brothers): Jago and Kuzo were the sons of a famous merchant, who thrived on a wealthy silk business. Until Jago was 13 years old and Kuzo was 10 years old they lived a happi life until the death of their mother in an accident. This accident sent their father into a state of shock from which he awoke only to realize his business empire had collapsed in his absense.
In order to provide for his family their father, known as the serpent later on for his unsatisfiable greed and nature, turned to thievery and banditry to provide for his sons. He utilized his natural abilities to carry out his villany, but was ultimately stopped by a leader of a tribe from some clan and put on trial. He pleaded for his sons to go free and took on the death penalty thus leaving the 16 year old Jago and 13 year old Kuzo to fend for themselves.
In a short time the two brothers became somewhat famous and skilled, both in their own ways of fighting and joined a semi-legal clan in order to advance their own standing in the world.
Kuzo:
Name: Kuzo Creed
Race: Lizardman (Lizardmen appear human for the most part, but as their legend suggest they have descended from large desert lizards or at least are related to them somehow. Their skins sometimes are, for small parts, seen as scales and more notably they have forked, snake like tongues. Appearance:

Thin, medium length, lightly muscular. Sharp features, scaled skin(in few places, hardly visible because he is covered up in cloth.)
Hair: Long, black, reach his shoulders and cover his eyes.
Eyes: Hazel, covered by hair most of the time tough.
Clothing: Black pants, sandals and heavy dark brown robes with oversized sleeves that completely hide his hands. Additionally on his robes`s right chest there are his clan, tribe and gang symbols. He also wears three of belts, one around his chest, another around his waist and a third around his left arm.
Personality: Silent, creepy, polite and extremely greedy
Strengths: Intellegent, patient and good with money.
Weakness: Physically weak (in his human form), cumbersome(in his human form), quick to anger and greedy.
Weapon/s Of Choice: Claws, fangs, tentacles of whatever beast he can transform into(thi ability however has it`s limits and he cannot transform as he likes, his abilities are more alike to copying anothers appearance).
