"You really need to be more careful."

Atticus sighed but smiled.

"That's impossible on all accounts."

Kari replied chuckling before coughing a little more and sat on the counter making coffee,sucking on a peppermint candy cane.

"Are you feeling alright?"

Atticus said blinking as he noticed the coughing.

"Not really."

Kari admitted looking down at her ash gray legs and said coughing into her hand pouting a little

"I'm probably gonna have to take chemo today."

"Probably so."

Atticus said smiling in a giant daze, focusing on something else.

Kari noticed he was zoning out and shrugged it off drinking her coffee feeling a little better before she sighed going to her toy making desk and started finishing Atticus' present.The other present that she bought was hiding under the tree but this one wasn't quite ready yet.

"Kari...I'm going to be in town for a little while. See you later."

Atticus wrote on a note and went outside to town. "Now...where to start?"

"DAMMIT! WHERE THE HELL DID THE EYES GO!?"

Kari yelled before coughing,yup.She was breaking every rule the doctors gave her,which meant that she was running around screaming and tearing up the house while looking for the important piece in the soon to be doll.

Atticus started looking around at the Christmas scenery all over Central and then found the perfect spot. It was a small little pond, all frozen over, with really small snowflakes falling on it.

"Perfect."

Atticus said as he got out his easel and started painting.

"THERE IT IS!HA!AHAHAHAHAH-ugh."

Kari said/yelled laughing like a maniac before coughing even more as she held up the silver felt that had pupils perfectly drawn on it while she sewed it onto the finished chibi Atticus plushie,the plushie of her was done too.

"Ok...I've got the background. What do I need to do with the main characters?"

Atticus said staring at his work of art scratching his head confused. He looked all around at the scenery, then thought he noticed something, shrugged it off, and continued painting his ice skaters.

"Hm......Now what.....Hm......Hehehehehehehe."

Kari mumbled clearly thinking of something evil as she put a Santa hat on GIR before giving it strict instructions to follow Roy Mustang and L-sama all day and annoy them to death until it breaks,and off the whirling robot of annoyance went.

"There, just a little bit more purple then it'll be done."

Atticus said as mixed his paints and painted a purple and black scarf for Kari. The picture was of them ice skating like a really old 50's Christmas card. "I hope that Kari isn't doing something to kill anyone." Atticus just said out of nowhere.

((XD well L did annoy the crap out of Kari with GIR first,and Mustang constantly annoys her so it's her present to herself XDDDD))

"Waaaaaaaaaaah,I'm booooooooooooooored."

Kari whined muffled by the couch laying on her belly her face into a pillow,clearly bored to death since the plushies were wrapped and under the tree as well.

A catnip then appeared in front of Kari with a little bow on it. It was addressed to her, but no one claimed to have sent it. However, judging the little prank, you could figure out who sent it.

"Now, just let it dry and I'll wrap it when I get home."

Atticus said smiling as he packed up everything and started his way home.

Kari smiled at it and started pawing at it like a cat with a ball of yarn before just flat out going nuts with it from pawing it,kicking it,and rolling over it.It was actually pretty hilarious to watch.

Atticus walked into the house, and just stared at Kari. He then quietly moved away from her, walking up the stairs to his room to wrap the gift.

"Hehehehehehe this is funner than I thought!"

Kari said giggling like a child before leaving it alone and laying down on the couch giggling like a moron,well.....They always did say that catnip made cat's high.

Atticus started wrapping the gift in ordinary wrapping paper with snowman on it, walked downstairs, and again, just stared at Kari. He then gently put the present under the tree and went to get Kari a glass of water.

Is...my girlfriend high?

Atticus thought as he stared at Kari, blinking.

"Kitty nip love,kitty nip."

Kari replied to that thought drinking the water and pointing to the ball of catnip grinning a little

"Where did you get catnip?"

Atticus said sighing shaking his head. It was quite funny though seeing his girlfriend this high.

"Don't know.Probably Allen though."

Kari said biting her lip before cracking up giggling again.

"I thought that Allen was with Mat-Mat at the evil people's territory."

Atticus said blinking. "Is there a way to not make you this high? Sooner or later, you'll start singing The Beatles' songs." he added laughing.

"I dunno,somebody sent it though and I'm happy with it."

Kari said before sitting up calming down and said blinking

"Aparentally that there's some weird chemical in they're brains that reacts to cat nip that make them go high and it only lasts for a couple minutes and it takes 1 to 2 hours for the chemical to replenish so I'm not high....For now."

"For now. I guess I'll scratch that off your Christmas list."

Atticus said jokingly. "Anyway, just popped into my head, have you seen Allen or Mat-Mat or even heard from them yet?"

"Unless you count the catnip then no not yet.Been running around like an idiot but haven't heard or seen Maddie and Allen yet."

Kari said sighing a little

"Well...I guess we'll just have to trust them to be alright."

Atticus said looking up at the ceiling.

"Well,Maddie can fry them all and Allen can rip they're throats out so I guess so..."

Kari mumbled patting on the couch next to her for him to sit down with her

"True. Those two are pretty much an evil couple, so I guess they'll be fine."

Atticus said shrugging as he sat down next to her.

"Mmm let's hope so."

Kari mumbled leaning her head against his shoulder comfortably

"Well...besides all the bad news, how have you been today?"

Atticus said smiling warmly.

"Been running around trying to find an important piece to one of your presents."

Kari said truthfully with a sheepish grin,dammit doctors.MAKE A CURE FOR CANCER ALREADY,would be what she was thinking right now.

"Ok. I thought you were doing chemo today, though."

Atticus said with his head a little cocked.

"........It's my birthday tomorrow,I don't want to be in pain and sleeping for all of it."

Kari mumbled as an excuse with shifty eyes,i.e:she didn't want to do it.

"Kari.....are you just making an excuse just so you don't have to do it? You can tell me the truth now."

Atticus said grinning.

"Yes yes I am making an excuse not to do it since a whole part of my brain is dedicated to making up excuses."

Kari said sarcastically but truthfully rolling her eyes

"Eh, fine by me."

Atticus said shrugging and smiling.

"YES! NO SCOLDING!"

Kari said cheerfully giggling like an idiot

"Well, it's your decision, not mine. The doctors aren't going to be happy though."

Atticus said blinking at Kari's giggling.

"They all hate me anyway."

Kari said with a simple shrug and to his 'what did you do them' look she said sweat dropping

"It's not my fault that when I'm in the taboo place I tend to....Sleep strangle." i.e,she almost killed most of them.

"I don't think anyone can hate anything. They can dislike something so much that they wish that it would burn in the 7th sector of hell, but never hate."

Atticus said smiling and blinking. "Besides...wait, how do you sleep strangle something?" he added.

"Well,if your having nightmares and something comes to change your IV for example and if your like me with reflexes to rival a lions then obviously you could grab somebody's throat without realizing it."

Kari mumbled sheepishly with a small smile

"....Ok."

Atticus said with anime sweat running down his head. "Remind me to never wake you up when you're having a really bad dream."

Kari pouted and said in defense

"That's cruel,your supposed to wake me up if I'm having bad dreams.Just not by shaking my shoulders,if I get bad dreams then rub my belly instead.Then I won't strangle you,I told the doctors that a lot but it wouldn't get through they're thick heads."

"Ok. If you don't mind me asking, why do you want me to rub your belly?"

Atticus said nodding his head and blinking. He was really scatterbrained today.

"Kitty girl remember?Kitty's like belly rubs and so do I,so if I'm having a bad dream and you have to wake me up without being suicidal then rub my belly and I'll wake up and probably be too busy purring to even think about strangling anybody."

Kari said sweat dropping rapidly

"Uh...ok."

Atticus said blinking. "So....."

Kari mumbled sweat dropping but cuddling closer to him and asked r@ndomly to change the subject

"Non Christmasy movie?"

"Sure, why not? Do you want me to pop the popcorn?"

Atticus said smiling.

"I'll get the movie and the pillows and blankies."

Kari said happily getting up and going to get the pillows and blankets.
