"PAPER SAVIOR!"

Kari yelled happily taking the paper while handing him the right amount of money back,she knew most paper prices just by looking at how much was there,and started writing again

"You don't have to pay me back. It's the least I can do."

Allen said giving Kari back her money. He got the thing he got for himself at the store, a simple notebook that he could draw in with. He started drawing a really good drawing of the scenery around them, along with Kari in the background writing every little song that came up in her mind.

Elsewhere Naked Snake stood above a grave With Flowers in his hands. he mouthed the words 'I'm Sorry..' as he stood there. then A new figure Soild Snake. then a gunshoot

Kari was up on her feet in less than a milla-second and started running towards the gunshot,it paid to have Dare Devil like senses at times like these.

There was Soild Snake lyeing on the floor with a gun out of his hand and a Broken arm and Naked Snake standing over him. "There will be no Killing here." He said

Kari stopped to a skid,and looked at the two puzzled and sweat dropped and she said rubbing her temples taking the gun away with her tail

"Aren't you two brothers of sorts?Don't they generally not kill each other?"

"He's my Genetic 'Father' of sorts." Snake said rolling on the ground.

"That's even worse!"

Kari yelled with an anime big head and made him stop rolling around saying sighing with an anime vein

"Stop it,your going to make your arm worse."

However Naked Snake slowlly trotted away out of sight. the grave he was standing on was simplly Marked 'The Boss'. with his free arm Snake lit a Cigar.

Kari sniffed the smoke and automatically started coughing,more than normal people would from the noxious fumes,and she managed to ask in between coughs

"Please,put that out."

"Please do such. It's really rude and it's not good for you, mister."

Allen said appearing right next to Kari in a flash.

"I just got a broken arm from my enemy. Leave me alone." He said as he breathed out smoke

"Yes,but I got lung cancer and if you keep blowing that in my face your probably gonna have to take me to the emergency room from I dunno,DIEING!?"

Kari coughed/growled irritated

"And, the smell is irritating. Put it out now." Allen said as he put his hand to his face, covering his nose. "Here, let me help you out mister." Mat-Mat said with a smile as she used her alchemy to create a small drizzle above his head, putting out the cigar.

Kari chuckled softly and she whispered in Allen's ear before walking to her and L's mansion

"Good luck."

And when she got in she unlocked the door going in yawning softly,and called L's name to see if he was home or not.

YOU MEAN SON OF A B***CH!!!!! DON'T LEAVE ME WITH HER YET!!!!!!!

Allen screamed at her in his mind, knowing that she would hear it. He started panicking, and then turned slowly to Mat-Mat, nervous as ever.

"Eh....hi Madison. How are you?" he said cowering down like a scared puppy.

"I'm fine, thank you. Are you ok?" Mat-Mat asked puzzled. "Who was that guy and why did Kari say good luck to you?"

"Well.....I sort of wanted to tell you something, but first," Allen said as he turned back to the river, "I should get my notebook I got at the store, and Kari sort of forgot her paper that I bought for her."

((Kari....he's going to do something that he is going to regret or something that is going to change his and her lives forever. XD))

"Yes?" asked L sitting on a Couch upstairs with notes scribbled eveywhere

"I was seeing if you were home."

Kari said bluntly sitting next to him looking at all the notes and she asked sweat dropping picking a couple up with her tail curious as to what it was

"Geez L-kun,I really have rubbed off you when it comes to leaving your papers everywhere."

And then she heard Allen yelling at her and she sweat dropped even more and replied I am not going to fight your battles for you.I already have my own issues,just talk it out and ask her why she's upset for a start.

Fine...fine. Oh, something's going to come to you and L's mansion very soon. Don't take a peek at it at all. And don't lose it, it's very important.

Allen told Kari sighing and hoping that, well, "curiosity doesn't scare the mess out of the cat and makes her freak out."

Allen then started running towards the river, getting his notebook and his drawings and music that he did while he was waiting for Mat-Mat. "Hey," he said with Mat-Mat behind him, "I'm sorry about the fight eariler. Do you forgive me?"

"I was going to say the exact same thing. Yes, I forgive you." Mat-Mat said smiling, rubbing his ears.

A mailman then came to the door steps of L and Kari's mansion with a small package labeled "FRAGILE" and it looked extremely fancy. "These two are going to be extremely happy after this." he mumbled as he knocked on the door.

"Coming coming!"

Kari yelled flickering down the stairs,tripping and falling down most of them like always,before answering the door and she sighed signing for it and shutting the door on the mailman before putting it on the table,trying to resist the natural curiosity about what the heck it was and why Allen didn't want her to look.

"Hey, Mat-Mat....have you ever had an urge to do something that it almost killed you?"

Allen asked, drawing them at the river.

"Yeah, many times, but I always back down. It's too hard to do it."

Mat-Mat said staring off into space, watching Allen draw. He always had a knack for it. "Why?"

"Oh....well, I've been meaning to ask someone something and I may get the chance today." Allen said with a smile.

"Thinking about stealing Kari away from L?" Mat-Mat asked sarcastically. "Hmm...not really, sounds fun though, huh?" Allen laughed.

The package was the size of a really thick book, standing up and as wide. It was white with "Formal Occasions" written at the top of it. It was really elegant, and everytime you shook it, you could hear a small box inside of it. It was tearing at Kari's curiosity, until she couldn't take it anymore.

"GAH!SCREW IT!"

Kari said finally giving in to her natural gene curiosity and opening the box,the saying really was true for this cat.

Inside of the package was a lot of papers, saying congrats and such, but the thing that stood out the most, was a small black box. Inside was a ring, an engagement ring, the size of Mat-Mat's finger, and with a small diamond on it. It was beautiful, and on the top of the box in sort of small writing was, "I love you Madison, Love Allen." Obviously, Allen goes all out with something like this.

"What.....THE HELL IS HE THINKING!?!?!?!?IS HE INSANE?!"

Kari yelled looking at the ring in shock and she yelled at him in his head

ARE YOU INSANE?!NORMAL PEOPLE DATE FIRST THAN ASK MARRIAGE A YEAR OR TWO LATER!YOU'LL FREAK HER OUT AND MAKE HER RUN AWAY STUPID!

I'm not normal. I have wolf ears at the top of my head, most people run away from me at first sight. I'm really not giving up this. And I've known some people to marry as soon as they meet. It's called "love at first sight".......and I'm not proposing to her tonight. Later, or should I?

Allen said to her calmly while drawing his work. He really didn't want her screaming in his head now.

"Hey, is something wrong? You seem tense."

Mat-Mat asked worried.

Oh like I'm normal too,I got the same issues with the ears,AND A TAIL I MIGHT ADD,and love at first site....Heh.Sometimes that doesn't exactly cut it and I would know.This Juliet's Romeo is an idiot.And I guess if your gonna do it then hell do it.

Kari said back grumbling something about something or another about men being idiots before re-taping the box so it looked like she never opened it,with practiced ease,before setting it on the table and sighing rubbing her temples.

"I'm fine, don't worry." Allen said while saying to Kari, You don't have to tape it back like you didn't do anything. I won't propose to her now, I don't have the time to run over and give a good explaination. I'll just tell her I love her tonight, and see how she feels about it. And the only reason you're not in a good working relationship with L is that he's too oblivious. You're a wonderful person, Kari.

"Hey, Allen, can I ask you something personal?" Mat-Mat asked looking up to him with her gray eyes.

Very helpful,it also helps that the man in question can break his spine just from having papers fall on him.Imagine what actually telling him would do his blood pressure.

Kari said sarcastically as she sighed and walked over to the grand black piano in the corner of the living room that she had made with alchemy such a seemingly long time ago when she moved in,she absolutely refused not being able to have a piano so she made one,and sat on the stool,with obvious hesitance,and just stared at the keys.

"Uh...yeah, I guess." Allen said as he looked up from his drawing at her. True, oh so true. Hey, I've got a new sheet of music that I was wondering if it sounded ok to you. I'll drop it off when I come for the you-know-what.

"What if I told you that I....I was in love with you?" Mat-Mat asked as she hugged him. "If you don't feel the same, I still hope that we can still be friends."

Kid,do us all a favor.Do what Disney says and just freakin kiss the girl.

Kari told him smiling a little as she looked at her piano with an odd mixture of happy yet sad look,she loved the piano but she was 'eccentric' and refused to play it when other PEOPLE were around,and the song in particular that she wanted to test would embarrass her for life if 'Romeo' heard it upstairs.

"You...YOU DO? I was going to say the same thing. I guess great minds think a like, huh?" Allen stammered as gazed into Mat-Mat's eyes. Who? Well, I guess so. Allen told Kari as he leaned in and kissed Mat-Mat. "I can't think of life without you." "Same here." Mat-Mat said smiling and blushing.

"Well,least 6 out of 8 are happy....."

Kari mumbled sighing a little and started playing the piano,just pressing keys in an odd tune before singing softly,in Allen's head as well by 'accident',smiling a little

Allen started to blush, embarrassed. Thanks for the music, Kari..... he grumbled to her as he ruffled Mat-Mat's hair. "So, what now? You're more experienced at this than I am."

"I've only been with a guy once, and I didn't like him. I guess we can make this anything we want." Mat-Mat said happily, then sadly, remembering a good friend, "I wish some others could feel like this."

"Yeah....let's go visit her." Allen said as he started running towards L and Kari's mansion, with the paper she forgot.

((Mat-Mat and Allen,Rosi and Red-chan's people (4 of 'em or more I can't remember if it was more than 8 people total) and then of course,the would be couple Kari and L XD))

Anytime Allen.

Kari responded with a chuckle as she put the lid back over the keys,resisting the urge to play a different song,and went over to the door knowing that they were coming,sucking on a lollipop.

((Okey dokey. XD I's got to go now. Band practice.))

Allen and Mat-Mat were there in no time at all. They knocked on the door, and waited for Kari to answer.

"You were talking to Kari the entire time for advise, weren't you?" Mat-Mat asked smiling.

"Close enough, you caught me governor, take me to jail, I'm beggin' ya!" Allen said laughing.

"Yeah he did,gave me a heart attack in the process too."

Kari said yawning as she let them in knowing L was busy with all his paper work,god knows what it was about,so she pulled the snack cart over into the living room and grabbed some candy canes and lollipops that she knew the stupid-genius loved and said bluntly before heading up the stairs again,tripping up them multiple times,going to the L inhabited room

"I'm gonna go give him some snacks,he's bound to be hungry."

"Ok. We'll wait down here."

Mat-Mat said as she waited patiently in the living room. Allen kept messing with her hair, ruffling it and teasing in what not. "How long has she known that you're were going to do this?"

"Hmm....since about this afternoon. It was right after we had the fight. I really needed someone to tell me how to impress you." Allen said as he hugged her when he said 'you.'

"Can't....breathe...Allen."

"Sorry. Anyway, do I need to change anything to make you happy?"

"Just don't go all fancy and be a total gentleman, and you'll be fine. And...no more name calling."

"Aww...not even to Kitty-Lady? And to think I was going to be a complete gentleman for you." he laughed as he kissed her on the forehead.

"I HEARD THAT WOLF MAN!"

Kari yelled from the stairs with an anime irritation mark on her head as she knocked on L's door waiting for him to answer

"I'm the only one who gets to call him that!"

Mat-Mat shouted to her as she slightly giggled. "No. You'll end up getting killed by Kari, and I can't have that happening to you, now can I?"

"True, oh so true. Anyway....there was something I was going to do tonight, but I think I'll wait."

Allen said as he kept Mat-Mat in a hug. He then got out a piece of paper, and wrote something down for Mat-Mat to read, saying So, how are we going to get L and Kari together? We got to do something that won't hurt either of them. She just shrugged wishing that there was a way they could help.

"Duh!! There is were cupid enters" Jillian said appearing infront of them. Alexander trowed pink/red confeti on top of everybody's heads a "Someone-kill-me-please" expreccion in his face. "Pleasure to meet you Mat-Mat, Allen happy to see you again" She said as she smiled. "Now a little birdie told me you guys need help" She said "And cupid is here to help" She said, she then took a deap breath "Now excuse me for a minute" She said and turn around toward Alexander "How was it? The entrance and all, and be honest" She said, he shighed "It was a good timing, better than the other time, but the trademark phrase still lacks something" He said, she groaned "Really?? I really thought I had it" She said "No, it dosent work" He said as he shook his head, she poked her own forehead "Dammit" She cursed.

"Uh....we're fine. We're already together. You're about ten minutes late."

Allen said with an anime sweat drop coming down his face.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, and you're names are?"

Mat-Mat asking looking at them with a 'what-the-hell' look.

Jillian went anime white as her eye twitched "W...what?" She asked, Alexander snorted and then started laughing, clearly enjoying the cupid's suffering. Jillian was too busy anime crying in a dark corner.
Alexander smirked "I'm Alexander" He said as he made a theatrical bow "My area of expertise are love issues, creating love issues in fact, people call me the "anti-cupid" He said. Jillian pushed Alexander aside "I'm Jillian. My area of expertise are love issues, fixing love issues, I would be the "cupid" She said. She then out of nowere took a clipboard and a pen "Well at least there is a still a "love issue" in this house, so I guess somehow we came in the right time" She mumbled "Fresh meat" Alexander said as he nooded while smirking.

Kari came down,no L he was busy with papers,and she looked at the two standing there through they're introduction and she sweat dropped asking

"Uh,do I want to know who's love situation it is?"

"No/Yes" Both Jillian and Alexander at the same time, they death glared at eachother. "Back off Alexander, this is my job" Jillian hissed "Ha! You arrived late your job, so I take this one" He said as he smirked evilly, Before anyone could even blink, they were alredy fighting. After 5 minutes Jillian pinned Alexander against the floor, and smirked evilly, she then got up and dusted her kimono, Alexander was too busy laying in the floor with swirly eyes "Take that!! The power of love always win!" Jillian said happily.

"I think you already know, Kitty-Lady."

Allen said with a grin laughing. "Those two came as soon as we mentioned love."

"You're new friends really are creeping me out, Allen." Mat-Mat said as she leaned towards him.

"I know. That's what makes them interesting. The cupid and the anti-cupid.....ah, those two must make a good couple.......anyway...." Allen then turned towards Kari with a Grinch grin. "....we need to help out some good friends."

"Oh dear god,L's gonna be mad at me now."

Kari said before sprinting up the stairs screaming,well that would be why he would be pissed at her since her 'condition' as he liked to put it as gotten worse over the last couple weeks.

"Hey, stop screaming, you're going to hurt yourself."

Allen barked as he flashstepped in front of Kari and dragged her down the stairs with one hand. "No complaining, ok? It's only fair if I repay the favor you gave me."

"Allen, don't kill her, ok?" Mat-Mat said laughing.

Jillian was anime crying in a dark corner "They call us creepy" She whined, Alexander shighed as he rolled his eyes "You guys want my advice? Forget about this, the best is just let the events flow along" He said as he shrughed "Hell no!! Dont listen him! "Just let the events flow along" means he will screw everything!" Jillian hissed angry chibi.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Kari YELLED not SCREAMED and jumped over him continuing to run away,this was the 7th sector of hell for her.Poor Poor Kari.

"I'm not doing anything creepy. I'm just helping out a friend for helping me out. And if she does anything to stop me, I'll just happen to do some things that I'm really going to regret."

Allen said with a Grinch grin again, catching up to her and restraining her to do anything about any of this. "Repeat after me: I will not do anything to stop Allen and Mat-Mat from being little matchmakers for myself, Kari."

"Allen.....do I really have to be in this?" Mat-Mat said shaking her head.
