Kari yawned and put Hayate down,letting him go upstairs or stay downstairs if he wanted,while following Atticus saying tiredly

"I need coffee if I don't wanna pass out."

When Kari let him go, the dog examinated the whole house. After some minutes he came back to Accitus and barked happily, he seemed to like it.

Atticus' room was the last one on the left. The other rooms were filled with old books, dust, and some miscellenous items that he and his mom had collected through out the years. Then, they got to a door that was the only white door in the entire house.

"Well, welcome to my room."

Atticus said smiling.

"The coffee room!"

Kari said happy chibi when he opened the door and ended up tripping over something and rolled in and hit her head on something

"You ok?"

Atticus said helping her up in the middle of the room. It was painted that looked like brick, and his floors were tile with a couple small tables around the enitre room. On the left side of the room was a cherry wood bar with a coffee addict's delight. The shelves and bar was filled with many types of coffee. There was also an espresso machine and a coffee maker of the simplist kind.

"Sorry...it's a little messy."

Atticus said with an anime sweat drop running down his head even though the room was spotless.

"....You sure I didn't die when I hit my head and went to heaven?"

Kari asked her eyes wider then saucers as she saw all the coffee on the table

"Well...I'm here, and I haven't died..."

Atticus said laughing softly at her expression.

"Yet..."

Allen said with a smug grin.

"Don't ruin my coffee addicted heaven Allen."

Kari said flatly while skipping over to the coffee happy/peaceful chibi and started picking out different kinds of coffee to try

"It just gets easier and easier everyday."

Allen said to himself shaking his head in amusement.

"At least none of the coffee has been taken yet. Go ahead, pick out any flavor you like. I've got more in the storage room downstairs."

Atticus said pointing to his endless coffee shelf.

"Coffeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

Kari said peacefully while drinking from a mug and sitting down in a chair calmly,not even Allen could piss her off now.

"Hey, Atticus, I've got a question."

Allen said staring at the coffee with deep confusement.

"Shoot. What's up?"

Atticus asked polishing the bar with an old rag.

"You said you don't like coffee, yet you seem to have collected so much of it. You never drink it, and you just keep the giant bags in your room so they can stare at you all day. Are you allergic to it, or is it something else?"

"If I was allergic to it, I wouldn't be able to be in the room now, wouldn't I?"

"So is it something else?"

"Yes, but it's private."

"Allen,stop being a nosy Parker."

Kari said bluntly but still had the peaceful/happy expression on her face as she sipped the hot coffee

"It's just my inner nature. I'm surprised you're not curious about it, Mrs. Kitty-Lady."

Allen said flatly looking at Atticus with suspicion. Some things just didn't add up to him.

"You really need to calm down. I'm not hiding anything that she doesn't need to know about. Why don't you relax and just take a breather?"

"Why don't you just explain what is really going on here with you?"

"Allen,if I wanted to know I'd ask.So stop being annoying will ya and chill."

Kari said flatly while chucking one of her many shoes at him,but this time it was a heeled shoe so it'd HURT

Allen just grabbed the shoe this time instead of dodging it.

"I have my absolute rights to be suspicious of a person I hardly know. After all, he and I still have an unresolved grudge."

He said with a harsh growl and changing into his wolf form. I'm allowed to look after a friend, and I've never liked this guy. It takes more than a few months for a guy to become Mr. Goody Two-Shoes. I just don't like him, Kari.

"What wrong have I done to you since the entire deal with Maddie and me?"

Atticus asked with a confused expression on his face.

Allen,he wants to change.And you should at least give him a chance for God's sakes,besides by the rate we're going we're both gonna die within the next three months.

Kari said sighing putting her coffee down looking depressed now

I'll give him a f**king chance when he shows me that I can trust him. So far, the only thing I've really seen him do is hurt Maddie, not hurt you, but always going out to paint, always comes home late, and just be a complete mystery to me.

Allen growled while keeping a steady glare on Atticus.

"What will it take to prove to you that I'm a different person?"

Atticus asked with a small sigh.

"I don't know, just something that doesn't make me want to eat your throat out now."

"I'm....Just gonna go back home."

Kari mumbled getting up,not even grabbing the tons of coffee around her,with her hands in her pockets as she headed out humming a soft tune as she made her way through the thicket back to the Whammy Mansion

See what you've done!

Allen growled taking a giant step towards him with his teeth bared.

"What did I do? It was you who got all suspicious out of nowhere!"

Atticus said with a frown.

I've always been suspicious of you, ever since you changed. I'm always going to be protective to the people I truly care about, and if I don't like you, tough.

Allen growled for a last time before he left the room.

"Great...I might as well go with Kari."

Atticus said walking out of the room slowly.

((Dang...Allen's being mean, isn't he?))

Kari sighed seeing the demonic looking thing 1 and thing 2 and thing 3's and sighed grabbing Hades from it's holster grumbling annoyed as the R Rated show began

"....Anger management time I guess."

Atticus just walked on the path towards out of the forest to Central with a heavy head and a sigh.

I really didn't mean to make Allen mad. What's with him recently? He's been acting weirder and weirder each day that passes. I remember something he tried to tell me...they won't be here until they get something. Oh well...maybe it's almost his time for getting that thing.

He thought to himself when he saw Allen on a small hill howling. He was mumbling to himself, but he couldn't understand. Then, he just started bolting into the forest where he heard gunshots.

"Kari..."

"Damn annoying things!"

Kari roared out of irritation,they were all low level sure but there was A LOT.And she flipped backwards to dodge an attack and clapped her hands on the ground in the process making a simple but powerful katanta with her mark on it and growled letting sparks of electricity flow through it as she just ran right back in slashing through them all as if they were made out of paper

"I AM NOT IN A GOOD MOOD!"

Well, now, we can obviously see that.

Allen said with a bark as he tackled a few of these things. Not in such a terrible mood for some help from your friend, now isn't there?

"Their almost gone,and their all pretty low level for devils."

Kari grumbled annoyed chibi as there was only a handful left and let Allen tackle them while she started cleaning her sword and Hades,not noticing that she was drenched head to toe in blood.

Gory much?

Allen said his fur covered in blood around his head area. "Now you look scarier than in your panther mode. It's like if you were scared of this."

He added while turning into his cute little puppy form with a devilish grin on his face.

"Allen.Gun+sword+Very annoyed Kari=not good for you if you don't shut your big mouth."

Kari said flatly while shaking her hair out and her ear twitching as she sweat dropped hearing Atticus coming

Don't worry. I won't kill the guy, yet. That's either nature's or Kido's job.

Allen said with a grin until he felt a gunshot graze the very tip top of his ear, not hurting it though, but apparently someone had been shooting at something. He looked up and saw Atticus with a small gun in his hand and a look of relief on his face.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?! ARE YOU TRYING TO SCARE THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME?!"

Allen yelled/asked with an anger mark on his face.

"You missed one."

Atticus said pointing behind him showing the thing with a bullet wound in his skull.

"Oh..."

"And Allen,sorry to break it to you but there's nothing living in you right now."

Kari said sweat dropping rapidly while trying to get the blood out of her hair even more now,cursing the devils for having so much blood.

"That's why I said scare me, not kill me. If he hadn't gotten the very tip of my ear, he would have a very angry wolf on his hand."

Allen said changing back into his human form. "Still...I have to give you credit. You did help me out, so, um...thank you." he mumbled softly while turning away from him.

"You're welcome."

Atticus said with a grin on his face.

"....I really need a shower now."

Kari said,rather r@ndomly,while sweat dropping rapidly and anime crying at how ruined her t-shirt and jeans were since you just can't get blood out as the permanent red streaks in her hair and the tops of her ears seemed to practically glow.

"This is where having a ghost for a friend is important."

Allen said with a grin as he grasped Kari's shoulder. "Hold still, this may feel a little tingly." he added while he turned both of them intangible, causing the blood to just run off of her body until she was like her usual self.

"There you go."

"You're like an instant shower and washing machine in one."

Atticus said with a grin.

"I'll be nice and take that as a funny compliment."

"That,felt really weird.But thank you Allen."

Kari said happy chibi and said sweat dropping looking at her multi colored hair

"Heh...White from the Borg people,red from all the blood and from my own ears bleeding,black being natural....Blue?I don't remember what I got blue in it from."

"That's a side effect. It'll wear off eventually."

Allen said sheepishly with a smile on his face. "However, if you have me keep doing that to you, than it will go a blueish gray color in your hair then."

"Does it only work on living beings, or does it work on you as well?"

Atticus asked being curious, not trying to be funny.

"Well, I'm still a natural blonde, aren't I?"

"....I'm not going to say anything."

"My hair is so multi-colored,it looks like a 4 year old put Kool-Aid in it."

Kari said sweat dropping rapidly at her hair colors in a pocket mirror

"Well...you need some purple in it. Then it would really like someone just took a gallon of Kool-Aid and poured into your hair. Oh, I just happen to have some in my back pocket."

Allen said with a grin as he took out a glass and some grape powdered Kool-Aid. "Now all we need is water...oh Maddie! A little help please?"

"No."

Maddie said bluntly.

"Pwease?! It'll be funny!!!"

".....Allen.I've got enough battery juice to send you flying 300 meters and explode with ONE bullet."

Kari said evil/dark chibi clearly not in the mood to kool-aid her hair

"You won't do that to wittle ol' me, now will you?"

Allen asked in a cute puppy chibi. "I was just going to ask Maddie to make some Kool-Aid, start drinking it, and accidently trip and pour it all over you."

"Yeah, and when it misses her and you still end up getting shot, I'll laugh my head off."

Atticus said grinning.

"I suggest you run."

Was Kari's blunt answer as she loaded Hades with the funny shaped bullet with sparks crackling down her hand into the gun

"I'd prefer to watch the fireworks little kitty."

Allen said smiling. "Nothing can really stop me from leaving and going intangible. I wonder...I haven't had a good battle in a while. I mean, Maddie and I sometimes combat train a little while, but in the end she's not as strong unless she uses alchemy. She's more gentler. How about you and me have a battle, no alchemy, no weapons, like how it was supposed to be back when we were in Atticus' little chamber?"

"Um...I'm going to go away now..."

Atticus said backing away from the two of them. This was going to be a great match if they did battle, but this is the kind of fight you didn't want front row seats to.

"Nope."

Kari said bluntly putting Hades back in it's holster while walking towards the mansion with her hands in her pockets saying bluntly more out of irritation then anything

"I need a shower,a nap,milk,and a book before I'll even consider doing a sparring match with you.I'll end up kicking your head through the ground."

"Aww, come on, don't disappoint the fan. Besides, you can't do that. Only I can remove my head if you like."

Allen said with a small grin. "But if it's what you want, then so be it. I'll see you tomorrow morning, ok?" he added to Atticus and Kari.

"I'll see you then, I guess."

Atticus said walking behind Kari before stopping and turning around to Allen and adding before he faded away back home, "Say, where's Maddie been recently? She used to come down a lot more."

"Oh...well...she may not come back down anymore." Allen said sadly before fading away.

"Atttttticus~"

Kari whined sleepy chibi giving him the cute goo goo eyes of doom asking sleepily

"Cawwy me to the mansion?"

"With those eyes, I could never say no."

Atticus said smiling warmly picking her up in his arms and carrying her home. "Did you have fun today at the coffee room? Sorry about the commotion though."

"It was good till you and the baka started fighting."

Kari said nodding while hugging Hayate,whom she had been carrying for most of the time,sleepily using him as a teddy bear and added yawning cutely

"Remind me tomorrow to call Riza and tell her I got Hayate."

"Sorry about that. He's been acting a little on edge recently."

Atticus apologized with a chuckle and adding, "Sure, I'll remind you about that."

Maybe what Allen told me could be the reason for his actions. He would usually just buddy with me, now...he's acting weirder and weirder each day.

Atticus thought to himself silently.

"Okay....No Shock Lock and Barrel you can't have my gummy bears!"

Kari said/mumbled drifting off into sleep while snoring/talking/drooling in her sleep comically

Atticus just smiled as he gently walked home, not trying to wake her. It was getting darker, and it was getting harder for him to see. If it weren't for the city lights, he would be running into everything.

"Mmmm it's too bright!"

Kari mumbled in her sleep burying her face into his shirt as she accidentally made one of the street light's pop in her sleep,no wonder she always slept in trees whenever she was traveling.

Don't worry. We're almost home, where the street lights won't blind you.

Atticus said softly as he approached the Whammy Mansion.

"Mmmm....Comfy bed with warm blankies."

Kari mumbled peacefully in her sleep and went back to drooling on him rather than blowing street lights while her tail got the key off from the necklace from around her neck handing it to him.
