Allen growled as he started attacking the bees. Mat-Mat used her alchemy to create lightning all around the bees and shocked them all, blowing most of them to bits. "I always hated bees." Mat-Mat said frowning.

The Pain smiled as this happened. he was consumed by a wave of bees and reformed behind her and kicked her before flying out the window in a mad chukle. and Then L. L was laying on the floor severlly wounded and getting worse by the second

BiC| "Hey! Guys!" There was a loud knocking on the front door. It stopped, however, once the Pain had flown out the window with his bees. In just a moment, Ash had climbed up the manor to the window of their room.

"What happened?!" she demanded, hair soaked along with her clothing. Her long, black jacket clung to her body as she climbed inside and spotted L. "L-kun!" She sat down and pulled off her gloves, examining his wounds.

L however was bleeding intenselly on the floor and appeared to be getting worse and worse and worse as time whent on

Ash sighed, irritated, and sat L up with his back against the wall while she stopped the bleeding with her healing alchemy. "Bees...bees...dammit, bees," she kept grumbling, looking all the more irritated that she had no idea what was going on and hoped that she could heal L enough to where he could at least explain.

However everytime she would do so he would keep getting worse and worse. within 5 minutes he would be dead.

Ash kept cursing underneath her breath, feeling his aura weakening gradually. "Dammit, L...stop the hell bleeding!" she yelled, though knew well enough that anger wasn't called for in this situation. She sighed and debated whether to take him to a hospital or not.

(I can't belive you don't understand whats happening)

L couldn't. Even if he tried. He was slowly being eaten away from the inside by the bees launched into his body

BiC| Ash blinked and pressed her ear against his chest, hearing the bees inside him, eyes widening. "...Oh my god," she murmured, then sat, trying to think of a way to get them out. She knew one way, but that probably wouldn't work: cut him open or perform surgery.

L's heartbeat became slower. he was dyeing. fast. but he was also in a great amount of...Pain.

ooc| ...I still don't get what's going on. I can only assume this is an idea from a comic book or TV show or something?

BiC| Ash sighed, then, after several moments of panicky thinking, took a deep breath and detached his automail arm from his body, as though that would help.

But the bees in his body keept eating away causeing extream pain. She would have to preform surgery for him to survive and fast.

BiC| Ash sighed, realizing what needed to be done, and, carrying him on her back, dragged him to another room and laid him back on a table. After finding some surgical equipment, she started the surgery to rid his body of the bees.

(*Knows nothing of anything of this kind of thing..*)

Kari growled limping to the 'operating room' she had gotten stung very very bad and jumped out the window spraining her ankle trying to follow the bee man

"Ow."

Kari said plopping onto the couch wincing as she gingerly brought her bleeding leg up onto a propped pillow giving it some leverage and said to Ash

"Why am I getting the feeling your going to attack me with questions?"

"Magic vibes, perhaps," Ash answered bluntly as she sat down next to Kari to examine her bleeding leg. "What happened?" she asked.

"Tried to go after Mr.Psycho bee man and got attacked even more."

Kari said sweat dropping and winced when she touched the large gash in her leg

"Did he have a reason for attacking you guys?" Ash asked as she used her alchemy to stop the bleeding, then grabbed some bandages and wrapped them around Kari's leg.

"Clearly I was a terrible body guard and let him get to L-kun who's his 'target'.Why he is I'm not sure."

Kari said sheepishly

Ash sat there and stared at Kari, blinking, expression mellow and cool as usual. "Have you noticed that most of these guys we come across are after him for one reason or another?" she muttered, leaning back and stretching, rubbing her eyes in her usual stressed manner.

"He's hunted a lot more than your average hermit."

Kari admitted sweat dropping,she wondered if she even wanted to know what he had been doing before she came around to get this many enemies.

"So I noticed, Kari-chan, so I noticed," Ash noted, sighing, irritated. "C'mon, wake up, L," she muttered, waiting for him to come to after the surgery.

When L woke up he was still holding the points they entered. "That man was very rude.." He barelly manged to get out.

Ash practically jumped up from her seat. "Ah! You're finally awake. Um...care to explain just who that guy was?" she asked calmly, arms folded over her chest.

"I don't know..what was his name?" He asked

Ash sighed, exasperated and stressed. "I wouldn't know, L; I barely arrived after he made his grand finale and exit and managed to show up just before you died," she explained all in one breath, quickly, before taking another deep breath, clearly irritated.

"Well did he say what he called himself? Were you there to hear at all? no nicknames or anything?" he asked

"What did I just say? No, L-kun, I didn't hear anything; Kari-chan might know, though," Ash explained quickly, rubbing the temples of her head. "Now, do please calm down; you just had a life-or-death surgery and you really need to rest, especially when you're as frail as you are."

ooc| XD Ash sounds like a mom *cackles*

"You know you sound like a Mother.." L said sighing.

Ash rolled her eyes and glared at L. "So I keep hearing. Just take it easy for a while; you just had a bunch of bees swarming inside your body," she advised in a weary tone, stressed.

"The man will probolly reappear...I don't think it's safe here anymore..for anyone.." L said

Ash stared at L, arms folded over her chest again, before sighing in a stubborn fashion and looked up at the ceiling. "I figured as much, but I'll be fine; I'm a Homunculus, after all," she said.

"These Bees could eat through to your stone and kill you. your in danger as well. and what of Hotaru?" he asked

Ash sighed again. "She'll be fine also. She...can't exactly be killed easily," she said, leaving it at that, having only learned recently that her apprentice was really a Shinigami or 'Death God'. She sighed and ran her fingers through her dirty-blonde hair.

"Ok then. So then i don't ask you. I order you as Major General L. Lawliet to come with me." L said sighing

"But, L-kun..." Ash started, but knew that arguing would be useless at this point and sighed, exasperated. "Fine, but I'm carrying you," she said with a nod.

"Fine then." L said from his spot in to much pain to move.

Easily, without any effort, Ash pulled him onto her back, taking care as to not hurt him again. "Alright, where to?" she asked, motioning for Kari to follow.

"well where were you before you rammed into us before?" L asked

"...'Rammed'?" Ash repeated, brow furrowed in confusion. "If you're talking about where I was BEFORE I showed up, I was in the Central Military Library, just leaving when I heard the bees and sensed that man's aura," she explained coolly.

"Well i ment when I was dead..." L said

Ash blinked, only seeming more confused. "Then...you mean, before or after you were dead?" she inquired, raising a brow. "Before you were dead, I don't know; my memory slipped a bit when I got my memories from my past life back," she explained with a nod.

Ash sighed, thinking. "...I was in the Xerxes ruins doing some research," she explained, with another sigh, still irritated, looking impatient.

"So you never had a Base of Operations or anything?" L asked
