"...What was that???" Hotaru wondered, hearing the faint explosion. Ash shrugged and answered in a quiet tone, "Apparently the Fullmetal Shrimp."

"Ignore it. maybe a fire or a terriost or a Nuclear Bomb or something less deadlly." He said

Ash just stared at L, giving him a hard look. "L-kun...we're State Alchemists. We're representatives of the Amestrian Military Force. It's kinda part of our job to investigate bombings and so forth," she explained, blinking.

"No it's not it didn't happen. nope." L said as he walked foreward

BiC| Ash blinked, then she and Hotaru exchanged looks before following Kari and L again down the dark street, wondering just how they could celebrate L's birthday.

"I did get you a present but I kinda left it at the store when I was trying to get the doctor to stop throwing hooks everywhere."

Kari said sheepishly to him and added ruffling his hair with her tail as she kept walking with him on her back now to the convenience store first

"Though I could always just go back to the store and get it....Actually.I kind of have to since I left my phone."

"Then..Hmm..with psychopaths running around the place..Alright lets go. your phone awaits" he said

"Alright cell phone that costs too much for what it's worth here I come!"

Kari said bemused as she ran to the convenience store and grabbed her phone,and her shopping bag paying for it and refusing to let L see his present,and she walked outside of the store and said sheepishly holding up a small,and rather cute,stuffed panda bear that had L's usual stoic expression and his eye bags as she started walking again

"It reminded me of you,Happy Birthday for the next half an hour or so L-kun."

((Agh! I keep falling behind!! DX Stupid school! Alright, now someone fill me in, and I'll try to stay with it. *nod nod*))

L looked at it Puzzled. "What is it?" he asked

"A panda bear."

Kari said bluntly sweat dropping,why was she getting the feeling he didn't like it?Maybe it was because he got him a toy panda when he was nearly 30.....Hm.Well she always thought that he would like it considering he was as childish as she was at heart.

"Whats a Panda Bear?" he asked

"It's a kind of bear,it's really rare so it's not surprising you haven't heard of it."

Kari said sheepishly and then asked pouting like a child

"If you don't like it just say so."

"I like it alot but...Are you sure it's not..A Voodoo doll? I find the resemlance..errire.." he said

"I'm sure,unless you want me to poke it with one of my claws for proof."

Kari said smiling at him some,she was glad he liked it.He was difficult to get presents for,and she put the panda bear in her bag saying sheepishly and continuing to walk,going to the out skirts of town.

"I'll let you have it when we get Doctor to fix you."

"That would be appreseated." he said

ooc| In response to Red-chan's question, they all just watched a creepy, horror film (from 'the Ring') with the exception of L, who was asleep at the time. Now they're heading over to some doctor's place to fix his spine since Ash can't heal it with her alchemy and whatnot.
Plus, it's L's birthday.

BiC| "...That's so cute!" Ash suddenly exclaimed, staring at the panda bear wide-eyed, grinning. Hotaru looked shocked and frightened by her Sensei's reaction to the stuffed toy and hide behind Kari.

"I'm scared to." L whispered to Hotaru

"But, then again...she's worse around Virus," Hotaru whispered back while Ash examined the stuffed panda bear, still smiling like a child.

"Really? You should live with me. you'll be scarred less." L said

"...Really???" Hotaru asked, eyes wide in surprise and hope. "Geez, I hope you're serious; she's abusive," she murmured, nodding, pointing to her Sensei.

"then get to packing your bags" he said

"L,you seem to forget that I live at your place too and I'm more abusive then Ash."

Kari said to him grinning and she let Ash look and coo over the bear for a few minutes before taking it back and keep heading to the outskirts of town where there was Doctor's (everybody just calls him Doctor for short XD) place and Kari set L down against a tree a good 100 feet away from the house carefully and gently and said stretching and taking off her shoes

"This is where the fun part is."

"Kari when did you become a Spider-Man?" he asked commenting on her climbing

"You don't know much about cats, do you?" Ash asked, grumbling after hearing Hotaru and L's conversation as she followed Kari and L.

"10 years ago,when I finished Naru's training.Tree climbing was one of the many exercises to learn how to flash step."

Kari said bemused to him as she kept stretching and then she said sheepishly and started running before he could stop her

"Now if you excuse me,I got some landmines to make blow up so when I bring you to the front door you don't die from being blown up."

"Land..Mines..?" he asked

"Bombs inside the ground!"

Kari yelled from a good 100 feet away before stepping onto the ground which made a loud BOOM with Kari doing the same thing over and over again while running across and around making sure she didn't miss any as she flipped around.

"Why are there land mines..at a doctors...place?" he asked

Kari flickered back to where he was,doing a handstand,after she was done exploding them all and answered simple and blunt and shrugging

"Because,he's paranoid.And he likes to watch people have to deal with the bombs for some odd reason."
