"Well isn't this pleasant?"

Kari said rather sarcastically as she picked up Gerard in a protective manner,why was she getting the feeling Gerard and L would 'fight' over her attention at some point?

Allen and Mat-Mat just stared at the copter, in amazement and anger. They didn't like all these surprises coming in on them today.

"Kept ya waitin' Huh?" Asked the man. He showed his head revieling regulaer snake. Soild Snake.

"Cardboard box loving Snake?"

Kari asked poking him in the forehead impishly

"yeah." he said

"Good,there's too many of you and you all look the same."

Kari said laughing as she hugged him as a 'hello' and then climbed onto his shoulders since she actually wanted to look people in the eye for once without having to hurt her neck,and L was much to frail to carry her anymore.

"To many? why you ran into another one? and whose the kid?" He asked. "I'd like to know as well." L said

"Erm the other Snake was uh...Naked Snake?And the kid is named Gerard and I guess was born from the Earth and I kinda took him since I couldn't leave him on the street....."

Kari said looking sheepish and embarrassed

"N-naked Snake?!" He asked. "That can't be! He's supposed to have died on Zanzibar.." Snake said. "Colonel. we have a problom." Snake said talking through his 'Codec'

"Well he's not dead....He didn't show any hostility and I didn't tell him that I knew you,and I'm a Lt.Colonel."

Kari said sweat dropping rapidly

"I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the Colonel Roy Cambell." He said "And Naked Snake..is our original Template." He said

"Right.....Erm,why's he dangerous again?"

Kari asked sweat dropping

"He helped create Metal Gear. he's in control of FOXHOUND." he said

"Oh.Don't they want me dead too?"

Kari said sweat dropping,she really lost track on who was who

"If you aren't dead they no longer do." Snake said

"Or they just want to use me then kill me."

Kari said sweat dropping even more scratching her head,thinking.

"Perhaps. but now your not dead and they couldn't care less about you right now." He said. then he took out a Cigar

Kari smacked the cigar out of his hand and snapped with an anime vein

"Are you crazy!?ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE MY LUNGS WORSE?!"

"It's a luck charm." he said

"That's an anti-luck charm."

Kari said rolling her eyes and said jokingly

"I have rabbity feet,feel free to stroke them."

Gerard just stayed were he was acwardly looking at all the new faces. "Mommy is any of the new people going to hurt me, I realy don't want to be away from you again". He said looking into his mom's eyes, with an adoring childish look.

"This kid's a bit paranoid..." Snake noted blowing out some smoke

"Who wouldn't be around all of us?"

Kari said rolling her eyes and plopped down off of Snake's shoulders,coughing from the smoke damaging her already damaged lungs,and picked up Gerard saying,introducing them all to the small child.

"Nope they won't hurt you Gerard.That one's Snake, that's L-kun,and that's Mat-Mat and Allen."

"Are you sure Mommy." he said with intent eyes.

"Kid if we wanted to hurt you you would be hurt by now." He said

"Yes I'm sure,and Snake's right so turn that frown upside down!"

Kari said cheerfully pinching his cheeks playfully to make him smile,she really was a natural mother.A shame she probably never would have her own kids.

"Trust me, Gerard, we're the good guys, we don't want to hurt you."

Mat-Mat said smiling at him. Allen changed into his puppy form and walked slowly over towards Gerard, barking happily.

Gerard smiled at the dog and jumped on his back."YIP YIP MR.PUPPY MAN!"

Kari was biting her lip clearly trying not to laugh at the two and she asked turning to Snake and L raising her eye brows

"Any suggestions as to what happens now?"

Allen kept barking happily, making sure that Gerard didn't fall off of his back. He started walking around everyone, being oblivious to the other conversations. Mat-Mat smiled at him; he sure had a great way with kids.

"I haven't the slightest idea what to do."

"We go after wesker." L and Snake said in Unison. "He's probolly not dead." L said

Kari twitched and then started hitting her head against the tree swearing in one of the many languages she knew and Gerard didn't and then after she was done self abusing herself she asked with a groan,not from hitting her head out of annoyance

"Why does Wesker continue to go after meeeeeeee!?"
