Mat-Mat told her calmly. She could easily hear all the screaming, and it was giving her a massive headache.

"You have your own room in a hospital?" Natsumi asked.

as he opened the door there was watari dressed in aqua doctor gear and a small thing in a glass container with a screen with a picture of it and it's anatomy

Kari didn't answer,she was hyperventilating/spazz attack/panic attack/and post traumatic stress disorder thing all put together so she was currently trying not to go insane with all the doctors testing her

"yes." he said simplly as he put some gloves on and urged the others to do the same.

Then Kari's he**ish moment was over,they figured out what was wrong and it wasn't good.So they doctor peoples had her sit on the table shaking like a leaf and go off to find L to tell him what was wrong with her

Natsumi looked at the screen. "What the hell..." She began.

"Is that thing?" Kakashi finished.

"we found this consumeing a corpse on a battle field at Raccon City." he said.

Mat-Mat stared at the thing in wonder. She still had a headache, but she could sort of figure out what that thing was.

Kari, are you all right?

The doctor peoples knocked on the door and said coughing awkwardly

"Mrs.Neko has lung cancer."

"It's so...ewww..." Natsumi shuddered.

"It is rather disgusting." Kakashi agreed. After hearing what the doctor said, Natsumi and Kakashi stared in awe.

"You're...kidding right?" Natsumi asked.

at this L Was shocked. "How?" he asked as he sat down on a chair. he was going to get all the details before he would freak out.

"You've got to be joking, right?!"

Mat-Mat said as she stared wide eyed and in awe as well.

(Lol, Kari really doesn't have lung cancer though. I'd be the first she'd tell >:D)

"Of course he's joking." Natsumi laughed, grabbing the doctors collar in a threatening way. "Right?"

"Well,her family has a history of it apparently,and she must of gotten in a fire of some sort recently since that was also what infected her lungs and got the cancer cells to develop more,and judging by her scars she's not going to be fighting any battles for a long time if not for the rest of her life."

The doctor said sighing

"Do not threaten this doctor!" he said as he snappened sending Natsumi back into a wall. "He May know vital information on Kari's condition and I will not allow threats to hinder him saying such a thing!" he said.

"I see..." Kakashi said.

"Kya!" Natsumi yelled, ready to punch the doctor in the face.

"Whoa whoa there!" Kakashi grabbed Natsumi. "It's not his fault!"

Mat-Mat just stared at the doctor, trying to fight back her emotions.

Dang it.....I've already lost one of my closest friends now....I can't lose another just now.

Mat-Mat told herself as her spirit was broken.

"She's still in the early stages of it so she can live if she goes through the therapy and such,but I can assure you if you want her to live she'll have to take it easy.And judging through the fight she went through just over a needle that won't be easy."

The doctor said sighing lightly at the thought of keeping her in a hospital

"I will personally hold her down!!" Natsumi yelled.

"I-I guess I'll help." Kakashi said.

"I'll help out as well."

Mat-Mat added as well, nodding her head.

"Then we'll need somebody to tell her since well,you guys have a more likely chance to live than me and my partner do."

The doctor said sweat dropping,he already had a nice claw mark on his face

"Wait wait wait wait wait." Natsumi said. "She doesn't even know?!!"

"SHE HAS A GUN!"

The doctor said putting his hands up in the surrender motion and adding

"She won't kill you guys since she seems close to you but she wouldn't hesitate with us and then you wouldn't know because she wouldn't want you to know!"

"That's not the smartest idea, you know. And here I thought doctors were the smart ones..."

Mat-Mat said jokingly.

"I has a gun too." Natsumi raised her hand.

"Let's go." Kakashi said, dragging Natsumi to Kari.

"I'll come too."

Mat-Mat added as she followed Natsumi and Kakashi.

Hello Kari... long time no see! popped Montmorency from no where.... and yes... I do have a gun.

Kari was currently trying to calm down from her erm multiple bad things attack by eating candy and asked blinking

"So what'd the doctor's say?"

^I'm a grammar Nazi.

"Ummm..." Natsumi began, unable to place the words. "Kakashi! Be a good boy and tell her!"

"Wha-what?!"

"What?"

Kari asked blinking curiously before starting coughing violently

"Ugh..." Washu began. "I...uh..."

"I dunno how to say this..." Kakashi began. "Um, hey, theoretically, if you were really sick, like with...oh, I dunno cancer or something...um...what would you...Oh! I can't do this!" He whined.

Kari was very puzzled but couldn't respond from her constant coughing

"Kari..." Natsumi began, placing her hand on Kari's back. "You okay?"

Kari....I would tell you....but Kakashi would rather tell you....

Mat-Mat thought to herself feeling worried about Kari.

"Kari....what if you had....cancer?"

"Probably go off and start causing mayhem and be insane just to get my mind off of it."

Kari said bluntly and truthfully coughing a little still and then added with a weak smile

"Just like a certain stupid genius did when he was in denial over his heart failure and unleashed Gir on us all."

((YES!FMA IS ALIVE!But unfortunatly I will have to leave soon since I have a field trippy thing tomorrow and actually need some sleep....Will stay on for an hour though XD))

"I was not in Denial." Said L "It was because you were wearing my cloths..." He said. He was still getting over the fact of the cancer but was about to say something..

"Kari-sama..I need to tell you that...You have Lung cancer. but not terinal from what I've gathered." he said haveing a hard time keeping up his composure.

Kari blinked and gave him 'You have got to be kidding me' look and she coughed awkwardly and said running around in circles

"That doesn't really surprise me.......Oh holy crap NO!I HAVE TO STAY IN MORE HOSPITALS!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"KARI SAMA!" L yelled as he triped kari to the point that she would fall down and lay down. "You will not stay in a Hospital but you may not run around or you will die." L said

"OW~!THAT HURT!"

Kari whined being tripped now anime crying with swirly eyes and then she turned serious again as she sat up grimacing painfully,she wasn't kidding when she said that hurt,looking up at him

"Stop calling me -sama or I will start running away from the hospital."

"And Die?" he asked irratated. "You are going to the house." he said as he called watari with a buttion on his person.

"L-kun,this may seem a little harsh but,GET THE STICK OR WHATEVER THE HE** IS UP YOUR A$$ OUT!"

Kari half yelled with an anime irritation mark as she got up on her feet swaying a more than a little

"DON'T YELL!" He exclaimed. "I'M SIMPLLY WORRYED FOR YOUR HEALTH!"

Kari blinked some realization hitting her and she asked awkwardly

"You care that much?.....Odd.Did I sound like that back when you always got sick?"

"Yes acually. except you hurt more. and yelled more. and had a gun." He said.

This made Kari burst out laughing,she couldn't help it.He had said with a such a straight face that it only made it funnier so now she was on the verge of rolling around on the ground laughing,which was probably not good for her lungs so that would only make him scold her more.

"Kari, Watari-sama is going to Take you hom while I bring our finding to the wammys house." he said

Kari managed to stop laughing and she pouted at him and mumbled under her breath her cheery manner fading completely,now she was the 'Ice Queen' as Roy and his posse put it when L had died

"I'm gonna be bored."

Clearly that wasn't the real issue.

"Kari. You seem to be..Sad? Upset? I'll be over there as well. I don't need to be in a seperate room." he said
