"Happy L-kun?Now behave yourself please."

Kari said to her 'friend' sighing lightly

"you couldn't kill me. I know Kung Fu." he said. "However a gentlemen is not polite only to specific people but to all people thus I contend you are not a gentlemen." he said

Kari's eye twitched and she gave him a nice kick in the shin saying bluntly

"Oi your misbehaving again!If you keep it up I'm sending you back to bed now!"

A blind dead man could clearly see she thought of him much more than a friend.

as this happened he landed face first on the floor. "Kari..that hurt." he said.

Kari went anime white and then crawled over to him helping him up checking to see if he was particularly hurt mumbling

"Dammit.You still fell on your face even when I tried to keep you from falling down the stairs.I'm sorry."

"Madison-chan, I'm really getting ticked off now, so if you don't want your friend to be attacked by me, I suggest you tell him to keep his mouth shut for a little bit."

Kido growled as an anime vein nearly popped in his head.

"Kido, don't harm him. He's getting you aggrivated, but don't even think about harming him. Sorry L, he's just a little angry I guess."

Mat-Mat apologized to L and added to Kido, "Don't even think about it."

"you kicked me in the shien Kari-Sama." he reminded. "And reguardless I would like to contuie our argueement Kido-Sama." he added

"You were misbehaving so I naturally had to punish you and you would of complained if I put you in time out.Now stop bickering with Ookami-kun."

Kari mumbled with a scowl,he had gone back to -sama again.How irritating.

"Time out? Kari-sama I'm 27 years old." he reminded.

"With the maturity of a 10 year old."

Kari mumbled rolling her eyes before noticing she had given him a bruising shin and she didn't show it but that made a nice stab into her emotional heart,not the physical one.

"I apologize for my rude behavior, L-kun and Kari-chan. I'll try not to do that again."

Kido said as he bowed. He knew when he does something wrong, and also knew what Mat-Mat would do to him if he didn't behave.

"Hmm, that's really nice of you Kido, what's with the sudden change of behaviors? And don't worry, I won't punish you. I wouldn't even hurt you at all."

Mat-Mat said surprised of Kido's actions as she started to pet the back of his ears.

thats good. I'd preferr not to kill or fight anything right now." he said

"Ok, anyway, I'm sorta bored, so...."

Kido said as he jumped onto Mat-Mat and finishing his sentence "do you want to play, Madison-chan?"

Mat-Mat, even though being crushed, said, "Sure, but why not ask your new friends in on the game as well, eh?"

"Just be careful so you don't kill yourself,alright?"

Kari mumbled sighing as she ruffled L's generally messed up hair and she asked Kido

"What game?"

outside a large high sound was heard outside aas well as screams.

Kari immediately fell down clutching her ears in pain from all the noise whimpering

"What's going on?!"

Kido fell down and put his paws on his ears and whimpered.

"Damn, that's loud. Please tell me what is going on here."

Mat-Mat just stared outside and wondered the same thing.

"I don't know.." L said as he tried to run up the stairs nearly triping when he got to the doors. high in the sky was a Giant green and Black Cube.

Kari whined in pain clutching her ears her claws digging into the soft skin and slight fur making it bleed as she rolled over her back to them and her tail around her.

"Well, what do we have here?"

Mat-Mat said as she felt the need to use her alchemy for a minute.

"I don't know what the hell that is, but it's getting me extremely mad."

Kido growled as he started to bare his teeth and the fur on his back bristled.

"not a gentlemen." he said looking at Kido. then it spoke. "We are the Borg." it said.

Kari let out a small whimper,the noise had gotten worse and effectively disabled her for the moment from pure pain from all the noise,she felt like her head would pop at any moment.

Kido simply didn't have the time to say "Shut up" to L. He was too busy wondering what this Borg wanted.

"Kido, don't do anything rash, ok?"

Mat-Mat said calmly. She was sorta wondering if Kari was alright, but she didn't want to Kido to go barging into something and get himself killed.

"Kari! Kari are you alright!" L asked holding Kari who was about to fall down. "We are attempting to expand the quallity of Life by assimalateing you into our hive metally. Resistance is Futal." said the cube as Green lazors came from it and made a line through central.

"It hurts....IT HURTS!"

Kari whined and surprisingly she started crying from the pain,she must've been in very serious pain for her to CRY about it,holding her head clawing at her ears causing some small scratches on her ears but enough to make them bleed

"KARI! DAMMIT KARI!!" He yelled as he snapped makeing it to the point most sound was muted

"Kido, stand back and protect L and Kari for a minute."

Mat-Mat said as she used her alchemy to create a lightning shield surrounding all of them.

"This should hold for the time being. It's sound proof, so it should help out Kari-chan for a minute."

Kari's grip on her ears loosened when he started snapping and when Mat-Mat made the shield since the noise was starting to stop but she still had one hell of a headache.

"You alright Kari-chan?"

Mat-Mat and Kido said at the same time, worried.

the cube then shoot a green lazor through central once more. soon after it was surrounded by Spheres and Cylanders and Rectangules.

Kari noticed L was still holding her looking as worried sick as she did when he got hurt and she simply rested her head against his chest soothing her headache by listening into his heart beat and she stammered in a mumbling tone to Mat-Mat and Kido wiping the tears out of her eyes embarrassed

"I-I s-should be o-o-okay."

"Good. At least you're all right."

Mat-Mat said in a relieved tone. Then, Kido's ears were sticking straight up, listening to everything to what was going on outside. He wanted to go out there and do something about it, but his main priority according to Mat-Mat was to protect L and Kari.

"Kari..you'll be ok." he said. then a Sphere came to the center of central.

Kari smiled softly and nodded saying

"Un,I'll be okay."

"good..you had me worryed." he said smileing. then the sphere from the center dropped off some small people and they fired beam weapondry all over the place.

"As if you don't give me a heart attack everyday when you do something to hurt yourself."

Kari mumbled pouting slightly and blushing bright pink

Kido started pacing all around the shield, growling. He needed to get out there and do something about this now.

"Madison, let down the shield and let me see what the hell I can do about this."

Kido barked at Mat-Mat.

"No. You need to calm down and think things through. If I let you out right now, you'll just get yourself killed and I'll be the one to blame. Think of a plan first then go into action."

Mat-Mat said bluntly.

Kari couldn't help but keep blushing as L held her close and she mumbled as her tail had grabbed her note book writing it down,clearly inspiration had struck her.

before L could answer a Green Hand held lazor struck near by as bold humans with pale skin and Cybernetics appeared

Kari managed to squirm out of L's death grip somehow and stood up straight inside of the lightening shield and growled,but somehow keeping her temper and not phasing to her actual form.

the things then climbed the walls without the use of anything but there hands. "We are the Borg. you must be assimilated." they said as one Shoot L in the back wounding him

That was when Kari lost all self controlled and phased within a blink of an eye pouncing on the particular man that had shot L biting and clawing at him giving him major wounds at the very least

the man simplly fell like a rag doll as the other walked to pick up L. "You will be assimalated." they said in unison. it was appearent however they were- at least once- real people.

Kari changed target and tackled the man that even tried to touch L,slashing his throat out before standing in front of L in a protective manner snarling and baring her bloodied teeth.She really was an animal,probably much to Mat-Mat's and Kido's surprise.

the other man simplly shoot Kari in the back, temporally stunning her and giveing him time to grab L. "Resistance is futile." he said as millions of others were seen dropping into the Town.

Kari struggled to get up and simply bit the man's ankle crushing it with her teeth making him drop to the floor and she caught L on her already injured back and didn't even show the fact that she was in pain and she simply snarled at them her usually calm black pepper eyes now bright gold color that was colder than ice.

"Resistence is futile. why do you countuie you to? we wish to raise the quallity of life." he said dropping his remote like gun.

"Give me a shot to remember

Kari answered still in her giant panther form as she pressed her clawed paw on his neck slashing out his throat as well

"We are the Borg." a large roar of that was heard as Millions scaled over that wall. "Your answer was not statisfying." they said. at this time she would realise that not all of them were human.

Human or not human she would kill them all if she really had to,she didn't particularly care about what would happen to her.Just about Mat-Mat,Kido,and the baka ji-nasu.So she growled

"I will not let you hurt them."
